Storms were brewing over head, and Avia felt the urge to let her wings carry her under the vibrating thunder and striking electricity. Her long, annoying hair hung in a mess of tangles and she glowered unhappily. It was even more annoying when she flew, it disrupting her wings gliding on the air so easily. She wish so bad to simply just it off, but that wasn't possible to do by herself, or another of her kind probably. She'd have to find a human, and she'd keel over dead before letting one of those pathetic meat bags touch her.
In a sour mood, Avia searched for something to take her mind off being alone today. No matter how surly and egotistical she was, she didn't prefer being alone. Marching forward, head held high, the thunder rang behind her back, and she grinned menacingly.

 Karloff stood at the edge of the water trying to convince little Diavolos that they would be fine to cross the little stream. But Diavolos shaking with fright was clinging to Karloff's leg making it difficult and nearly impossible to move. He was about to the point of giving up as he stood there, the thunder rolling louder and louder. The heavens were threatening to open up and pour forth at any moment, and he was stuck here in this storm with a raccoon who would not let go or permit him to move. Sighing, Karloff started to hum, hoping it would soothe Diavolos.

She sniffed the air for prey now, but barely smelling anything but water that was threatening to pour down on her. Dasislav soared about her head, wishing to travel farther east. The bird was a new companion of hers, a ghostly fellow. Translucent, it seemed. Very.. intriguing. She happily complied now, wondering if he was leading her to prey. Smiling darkly, she broke into a run to keep up. She (stupidly) let herself go while she ran. She listened to nothing, and paid attention to no one. When she let her feet fly, she felt the urge to let the wind soar freely below her wings. It was quaking feeling, really. But she couldn't not in this weather.
Then she broke into a field and abruptly stopped, now noticing Dasis had broken off. Her eyes bright with shock scanned and saw a shadow lurking near by. Much more quietly, she stalked forward, the bird all but forgotten.

Karloff kept talking to Sippy, "It's okay really. We'll go home to Ailbhe."
"NOO NOOOO! TOO SCARED< STAY HERE TILL OVER!"
"It's not safe here though," Karloff sighed, stepping into the water with the raccoon still coiled tightly around his leg.

The screeching of an animal was not difficult to pick up in the least. Avia could stalk with out worry. The sound of the rain all but covered the sound of any steps she took, and those she took with great care. Splashes of water gave her the last directional decision she needed, and she was there, watching. A stallion larger than her, masked with white fur. And there, the source of the noise clinging to him. Really, it would have been highly amusing. If she was disgusted by the racoon's fear, and the soft cooing of the stallion. Kill it, and get it over with. Snorting to herself, Avia decided to follow. Her white pelt wouldn't be good for coverage, but he seemed distracted enough with that red, spineless oof.

Karloff sighed heavily, as the rain poured down drenching him. He really hated to get wet, but here Diavolos always remained obstinate--thunder and lightening--rain. It drove fear into his little heart. Something that, and the only thing ever, that Diavolos refused to talk about.
Ignoring the scratching that was happening to his legs, he took a few steps forward dragging Diavolos screeching with him. His head came up sharply, a scent on the wind....the smell of blood pulsing wildly, and delicious. He could taste the seasoned flavour of it, someone more like him. He could see the white in the distance, and he bared his teeth and set his stance.
Diavolos fell silent, scrambling high onto Karloff's back and shivering with fear.

Damn. Maybe he wasn't as distracted as she'd hope. No matter. She took the same stance, snarling loudly in retort. She wasn't really angry that he'd dare bare fangs at her. It was actually amusing, in a way she rarely felt. Not at his expense... much. Flicking her tail as a cat would, Avia bent her head down, flashing her large horn as a warning with a smile touching her pale lips. "Stallion." Her voice rang clear through the rain and trees. She was delighted at the fear her presence rocked through the red pest. If Dasislav ate, she would love to feed the raccoon to him as a thank you for leading her to this delightfully odd male. He was so kind only a moment ago. Giggling now at the sight of his anger and obvious hostility, she felt thrills run through her. Could he be part skin walker? OH she could only hope.

Karloff's eyes darted around, she seemed to be alone. His back was shaking where Karloff was clinging, just from the sheer vibration of Sippy's fear. He ignored it as he stood there watching her, her voice ringing out so sure of herself.
His voice came out in a louder hiss, as he let his full height be realized. "What keeps you here mare? What do you want?" His voice was loud, challenging her and daring her as he stood absolutely still.
Diavolous kept shivering, wishing he had gone home when Karloff first asked.

Avia laughed delightedly, and loudly. "My will keeps me here, Stallion!" She spoke with happiness, but it was shrouded in a touch of hysteria. She wasn't insane per se... just her malicious mind warped her tone into sounding similar with those with out sanity. Her mind was clear, at least for someone touched with such carnage. She trotted a few paces closer, and then veered to the left seeming to circle him. She wasn't taking the steps as 'stalking' or 'hunting'. She only wished to get a good view. And to give him one of her as well.
She was overly confident and cocky in many areas, but she wasn't overly boisterous with her appearance. She merely knew she body was well defined yet lean- most males liked it. Some liked her hair too, all the while she despised it. She wanted so bad to hack it all off. She'd tried once and it grew back almost immediately. Another reason to curse her damn mother.
"And what I want...well I'll have to see what it is exactly I want." Her eyes glinted excitedly, her tail flicking wildly.

Karloff watched the mare, she was....creepy. Threatening but also not threatening. She had some kind of odd glint in her eyes. He kept turning with her, keeping her completely in his sight. "You should be on your way. We want no trouble with you, my companion and I."
He dug his front hoof into the ground. Why was she not scared of his mask? Why was she not....well anything other than staring at him? He felt like a piece of meat, of hunted prey on display.
Sippy clung with his face buried, his whole body still shaking.
