It crept in without being noticed, the mist... it was highly unnatural for mist however; whoever thought mist could be this red? It came down heavy flooding the city of Shomonkai from somewhere beyond the cloverfields and as it would seem it came to apparently stay, heavy with Reiki.

The days that followed proved to be a trial for not only the Soul Soldiers themselves who had to be on the watch for oni that flocked to the city to feed, drawn by the mist's peculiar Reiki, but also for the people from DEUS who were called to assist every Soul Healer with their own abilities as more and more people developed a sort of Reiki poisoning from being exposed to such large concentrations all at once. As for the people, they started to dread the peculiar phenomenon and whispers of rumours about it being a curse spread like wildfire making many lock themselves up in their homes making the districts much more peacefully eerie.

And the Kaminoshimobe? There were many who thought them to be the cause of this plague but apparently they didn't expect it either. It was a perfect opportunity for them to bring people to their side however, so they began preaching that it was the work of their God and that people should join them if they wanted to be spared and saved.

But alas, this panic was not the only thing that arrived in the peaceful City with the mist. Along it came a handful of people; unnoticed, they crept among the shadows and blended in with the crowds, quickly swapping their travelling garments with ordinary clothes and adapting their foreign accent to that of the people around them, teaching themselves as quickly as they could within such a short span of time. What could those people be? What do they want? And why on earth would they arrive with this peculiar mist?

Audra Scamail bent over to inspect something, ever conscious of the reiki pounding through her veins screaming to be used. The red mist.. It had come, brought strange things with it. While she doubted it was the doing of the Kamonishimobe, there was no harm in being cautious. muttering something less than ladylike under her breath, she continued on her way to the academy. Her students had very definitely been affected by the mist. Half of them were down with reiki poisoning. Audra herself wasn't too well, but she had been using reiki more than usual, so she supposed she was adapting to the situation better than most. This overabundance of reiki meant more chance to practice, since using reiki drained her severely. Perhaps she would demonstrate for whatever students that came today. Though she doubted they would enjoy being pelted by rain on top of this strange mist.

A flash of crimson caught her eye. The strange thing was, it was the exact colour of the mist. That alone wouldn't have been so unusual, except for the fact no one in this city would wear such a thing. Well, a few of them, but none wore such plain ones. The wailing of an alarm set her on the edge, alerting her to the presence of more oni. The whole city was on full alert, having been attacked numerous times the past week or so since the mist came.

Gritting her teeth, Audra headed for the only entrance into the city. Doubtless that was where the oni would swarm, trying to get into the city as well as the mist. Audra closed her eyes, focused on expanding her sense until she could feel the oni closing in. Her eyes snapped open as she began to run through the eerily empty streets of Shomonkai. This was her city, her home. No way would she let it get torn apart by some useless oni seeking their own gratification.

Madison hadn't been home in days... She was a little worse for the wear, she was still an acendmy student but she was a healer, with the onsluaght of all the Reiki posioning she was heping out like all the others. But it was difficult, Reiki poisoning... Everyone had Reiki how exactly do you cure poisoning? Madison was one of the few that show some promise in being able to 'cleanse'. Replacing the poisoned Reiki with her own. But it would whipe her out completely.

She had no idea if itwas night or day out anymore, let alone the time. But her shift was coming to a close. She wouldn't leave the clinic she was at, but simply take a rest on one of the open beds. She pulled her cardigan close, it was chilly least for her, she was exhausted. She had missed a few days of school but was told that they would be excused as she was needed.

Interning at a clinic certianly had it's benefits and draw backs. She laid back, and doesn't even remember her head hitting the pillow...

(If there's anything wrong with the post let me know... >.< )

For whatever reason,, Masamune didn't feel at ease with the mist dragging and pulling its gossamer veils everywhere around. It wasn't just the odd abundance of reiki that made the air thick, or the deep, rose red that distorted his vision. It gave him the impression that nothing good was going to come from it; he could smell it, taste it in the lingering anxiety of the people around him but in his own sour mood as well. An ill omen...

It wasn't just the reiki poisoning that brought so many people down with it. And it wasn't only the oni that kept rampaging trying to get the source of the energy either. The immediate effects where just a 'decoy' so to speak, a cloak to hide the true evil of the unexpected phenomenon. Did he know what he was talking about? He believed so, if nothing. The Kaminoshimobe were out there spreading false rumours, the mist lingered heavy with no intention of clearing up, the oni had the city under siege, the poisoning... The people would begin to panic, the fragile quiet facade that kept all those different people together would break, chaos would ensue, people would die. The workings underneath the psychology of the crowd dictated that once mass hysteria would break out there would be little any of them in the Soul Army would be able to do anything. It wouldn't be long until someone decided to do something stupid, then more would simply follow their lead.

"Tch." he scratched the back of his neck with his right hand before moving to adjust the glasses that had been forgotten up his nose. It had been days, Masamune thought that he should have gotten used to it by now but he was never fond of changes anyway. He would have pondered further, being on his way down to the headquarters since there was little else he could honestly do when he heard it.

The roaring.

He knew quite well what it was, and it didn't sound too happy either. Resting his left hand on the hilt of Arclight always resting by his side he dashed off in that direction as silently as his wooden geta allowed. Even though he still was somewhat far from his target he could clearly sense another Soul's powerful presence. In that case, maybe it was simply some guy from Division four not making head nor tails of where they were driving their oni, but he still couldn't risk it...

Audra's path to the gate of the city was interrupted by the appearance of an oni trying to escape while a man was trying to restrain it again. Great. Just great. The captain of the Second Division muttered something more suited to a sailor than a respectable lady. Sighing as she pinched the bridge of the nose, she threw herself into the fray. A couple of well aimed hits to particular pressure points, the oni was rendered immobile. Its face was contorted in a snarl, making it even uglier than it usually was.

"Keep it under control. It's bad enough with the mist, never mind an oni trying to escape." Audra threw the man a scathing look before rounding the corner only to nearly crash into Division Three's Captain. Hanabusa Masamune. Inclining her head slightly in a gesture of respect for his position. She personally didn't know him well enough into respect him as a person.

But really, the situation in Shomonkai was getting out of hand. Everyone had retreated inside from fear. Only the soldiers and a few men were to be found on the streets. As majority of them were hiding, not counting the soldiers, the rest were down with reiki poisoning. Not the most fun thing to be had. Honestly, Audra hated the mist. It was clingy, it was pervasive, intruding into everything it could with tendrils that floated everywhere.

Not to mention it was scarlet, like her own hair. But that wasn't the point. Or was it? Either way, the mist hadn't brought much good to Shomonkai. It had to go. Somehow, she doubted a storm would do it but perhaps.. Pausing for a moment, Audra looked at the clingy scarlet mist around her. An idea occurred to her as the cogs in her brain began to turn. Closing her eyes and focusing, she tried to feel for the air around her, shaping it into a slight wind that made a hole in the mist. But it didn't make the mist dissipate. Only cleared a small path for her.

If only there was some way to get rid of this mist. Audra sighed as she ran her hand through her thick red hair. There had to be a way. The mist was bringing too much destruction and confusion to the city. She leaned herself against a wall, wondering if she ought to head to the headquarters instead of the city gate. No doubt she'd be needed in both places.

Madison was having strange dreams ever since the mist came. Things she couldn't explain or understand. But they made her feel uncomfortable. Sometimes the dreams were more like nightmares, and it wasn't unheard of for her to be known waking up with a scream. But this time... Something or someone kept saying her name. And she felt like someone was pushing her...

Her consciousness starting to come back she realized that someone, not in her 'dream world' was trying to wake her up. And next thing she knew she was awake, and groggy... She never had restful sleep. It was one of the nurses telling her something. She was pulled from the bed and she stumbled along... Handed a bag, and turned around to face someone from Division 6.

"Huh..?" She looked over her should to ask what was going on, but the nurse was gone. She looked up at the man and she suddenly felt small...
"W-what's going on?" He head started to throb. She was so tired...

The man started to speak. "We're gathering all the extra hands we can for the field to help. You just happen to be free."

'Free? Free my a**' Maddy thought, she was in a REM Cycle. She was only down for an hour at most...She followed the man out, as he explained that some of the soldiers and others that were working to keep the Oni at bay were having 'health' issues. They were worn out, or getting sick. This was the time since the mist came that she had been out side in it. The mist felt strange... She had to practically jog to keep up with the man, swinging the back over her shoulder and yawning.

Idate leaned against the nearest wall watching the empty street ahead of him. It was his first time wandering in the city after they had first arrived there several days ago. Before today he hadn't left the 'campsite', the place where they -he and his brethren- were staying. The crimson mist was floating everywhere severely limiting the visibility of his surroundings -which was already obstructed by his hair either way-. He decided to get himself on higher ground so he would have a better view of the city. He jumped to the nearest balcony that was about one meter above him and from there he climbed on the rooftop to survey ahead. It turned out that it still didn't make any improvement on his line of sight but at least he decided that as soon as he was there he could take advantage of the place in order to slack-off unnoticed.

He lied down and rested his head against the house's chimney. He felt as bored and tired as always but not from work or anything. He always felt that way, ever since he could remember himself. He was beginning to dose off and fall asleep when a soul soldier pressed against his head -with a foot no less- and used him as a foothold to continue further in the direction he was going. Idate didn't have a chance to see him at all. He got up to see if the soul soldier was still somewhere nearby -so he could b***h, if nothing- but when he looked he was already gone. Before he had the chance to do anything moor another soul soldier bumped into him and threw him to the floor but this one just had to happen to be awfully polite. He was a boy that was about his height with straw-blond hair reaching down to his shoulders. His eyes were of a sea blue color and he seemed pretty young. Idate just didn't feel like being mad anymore. "I am so sorry that I bumped into you, sir. Are you okay? " the child stammered in what seemed to be half worry, half confusion. Idate slowly got up not really worrying about himself falling and sighed. "It's okay.........." Idate answered. "Please accept my apologies, again." he made haste to apologize again before bowing his head a little. "But I have to be on my way, bye mister!" he said, running off. Idate just figured it wasn't his day today.

Deciding he'd have better luck were he to go back to the campsite he climbed down the roof and jumped on the street, landing on his feet, like a cat. After all he was getting the feeling he'd have to face off with the Princess again. After all someone just had to, and if it weren't him then who was?

The street being empty was something of a relief. It meant that he could walk without having even the slightest kind of fear that somebody would bump on him -again- or use him as a foothold -for the third time in a row-. He walked for about ten minutes at the same road looking at the locked houses on wither side of it, closed shops and other stuff. It didn't take him too long to spot a pair of his kin which he knew all too well somewhere a bit ahead of him. One of the two was a somewhat big man with black hair and eyes and the other small with short brown hair and blue eyes. He slowly approached them and was greeted by them once he was close enough.
"Hello Keigo." Idate answered in his plain, somewhat gloomy demeanor before continuing on his way not caring much about them. He marched on straight into the old ruined house, probably brought to the ground by oni attacks. There were some other people sitting on the floor drinking tea -in that sort of environment of all places, not that he did mind terribly much. The first person he needed to report to was the princess -which was quite obviously not present at the moment- and he certainly was not in the mood for her shouting and chasing him around to 'kill' him once he'd find her.
But one must do the things they need to do, so out he set once again, to the one place his Princess would most likely be. The market district.

"Tch. Such a bother." A glowing hand rested upon Fortay's cheek as he sat upon the roof of his house. The dark crimson coloured mist covering most of what he could see. There was no spot where the mist begun or where it ended, it was everywhere and because of this mist his entire tea collection was ruined, all getting poisoned and making the tea leafs dangerous to use for tea. Fortay kicked his feet lightly as he sat upon the roof, his left free glowing hand resting upon the roof to help keep his balance, even if he did not need it. The Reiki poisoning was affecting nearly everyone at the Nekonogetsu, and therefore no one was allowed into the place, and not only had that Fortay been put in charge of gathering information on the situation at hand. Sure he did not mind gathering information…if there were people to talk to that is! A large amount of Souls were falling sick of the illness, and that made it harder for him to gather information. Fortay was just lucky that his Reigen’s false-form worked as a filter for him, removing the mist before it entered his airways…as long as he kept his mouth and nose covered with his hand. He thought about just letting the poison get in, so he could just sleep all day, but he had work that needed to be done, so he had to do that first instead.

Sighing, Fortay pushed up from the roof and stood up straight, taking a look around. The city was put into alarm once again, with the oni trying to make their way in to feed or whatever it is they do. Fortay thought to himself, ”Maybe I should make my way there, keep out of the Soul Army’s way though…” Shrugging, he started to make his way to the front entrance, it was not like he had anything better to do. As he walked, he looked around, trying to see what was going on around him, but cause of this mist, not a lot was happening, which was very strange for such a populated and busy city. With a jump in his step, he went over the information he had gathered so far. From what he knew the mist affect the reiki within each person, causing a very painful, unknown if fatal, poison to pass throughout their bodies, and he had also over heard at one point about new comers that had come into the city. As far as anyone else was concerned, they just thought they were normal brand new Souls, but it did not seem right for a whole lot of people to show up as new Souls. New Souls did not show up very often, and when they did it was only like one or two, not a group, but what made it harder to find these ‘Souls’ was that they fit in so well, as if they had been there their whole life, making it hard to point them out and be like “You don’t belong here! Get out!” So the mist could have something to do with it, but Fortay doubted it.

He had also heard that The Kaminoshimobe Order was claiming it to be the doings of their ‘God’ and that the only way to survive was to join them and devote oneself to this mighty God or whatever bullshit like that. Fortay groaned at the thought of them wack jobs claiming stuff like that all the time. It made him wish he would just walk right up to one and stab them in the throat, but he could not do that because that was not very nice since they are still a part of this city and that they have managed to help KARIYA & CO once or twice…even if they did not mean to. With his free hand, Fortay ran it through his hair, and then went down to the plat and started to twirl it around in his fingers for a bit. Finally, he made it close to the front entrance, sure he had to run a bit and do some jumping from roof to roof, but at least he had something to do then? As he closed in, Fortay kept closer to the roof, not wanting to be dragged into the drama down below him and decided to sit back and watch a little, to look around for anything that could be slightly suss about the situation. Oh, boy! Did Fortay like spying on the Soul Army, so much fun for some are not that bright at times, and since of this crimson mist, he did not have to put more effort into this Reigen to be able to hide him, as well as still filter the mist with the light. As he got down, he pushed his glasses back up onto his nose.

'And to think I normally like the color red,' Hisoka mused, her small, sarcastic smile hidden by the curtain of hair falling in her face. The crimson haze was everywhere, as it had been for nearly a week now, and still there was no sign of the phenomenon lifting. Of its own accord, at least. Just how many times she'd been called away from the temple to aid the healers with her own purification ability seemed beyond counting. Normally, Hisoka didn't mind lending what help she could, but the growing sense of futility was exasperating: nothing ever seemed enough. If they could help with the poisoning, there were always at least ten for every one they assisted. It just never seemed to stop.

Somewhere beyond sight, a Kaminoshimobe could be heard, one of the few who dared to break the stillness of the city streets in order to preach the message of their god's punishment. Snorting softly, Hisoka turned away from the sound, regardless of where it would take her. There was more than one way home, after all.

At least, there was until the alarm rang out through the city, echoing with a sharp, shrill cry that Oni were once again setting their sights on the city.

"Just once," she muttered under her breath. Well, there was always more work to be done, and any healers there would probably be grateful for whatever assistance they could get. It wasn't the first time she'd offered to help, and Hisoka very much doubted it would be the last. Memory of the district layout alone guided her feet, thoughts whirling at what the shrine maiden might find as she headed towards the sounds of aggravation and chaos.

The headaches were getting worse. Murakami Valentine had wholly abandoned her reiki voice camouflage since the mist set in, because she didn't need it; the concentration of reiki in the air was enough to mask her voice without her conscious effort. Her body, used to the gesture, would simply take whatever she inhaled and put it to use. Her vision was keeping her awake, too; constant information was pouring in.

She sat in the room she always sat in, the lights dimmed. She wasn't alone, however; she sat in front of a detailed city map, with a writing implement in her hand, and a member of her division to her right. Murakami's lips moved without sound, and her prosthetic eye flickered back and forth over the map. She circled streets, intersections and buildings with the writing implement, then switched it out for another. The first drew in red ink, and they marked hotspots. The woman who sat next to her communicated these hotspots to a colleague, who would pass the information on to whoever it concerned. Rummy's sight was nearly boundless under the fog of reiki. Darkness, unlike most, allowed Rummy to see. She could cast her vision across the city, marking out concentrations or invasions of oni. Through it all, figures appeared to her. First they were dressed strangely, then they looked just like anyone else-- she could not understand who they were. As Division five's captain, investigation was her focus, though her specific talents allowed her to search the city. In a terse whisper, her voice hoarse from reiki, she told the associate to investigate places where she had seen the strangers. Told them what to look for. She had this feeling she would have to do it herself, though...

Rummy didn't dare take the lens, her failsafe, off. Her eyes ached, though; even the casting around her prosthetic eye seemed to hurt. Her fingers were ink-stained. The other writing tool she marked with indicated the sightings of these foreigners. They were foreign; they felt out of place.

Data flickered across the lens over her eye. She could hardly blink. The white of her eye, if anyone could see it, was bloodshot. People were being poisoned. It was up to the Soul Army to deal with it. While her faction couldn't heal anyone, they needed to find the source; to investigate. So, like the devil was at her heels, Rummy had been more or less sleepless. Although her sight was stronger than ever, this was not working. There was too much to absorb, too much to see and feel. She needed to go look for herself, because this system with the map was proving tedious. Even if she provided the location, that didn't mean her division members understood where they needed to look.

Rummy got to her feet, the chains around her shoulders scraping together and clanging. She steadied them with her pale hands, and waved dismissively to the assistant who was used to her moods. She didn't need to explain herself. She left the room, slowly emerged up through the buried floors of her lab, and walked into the red mist. The rumour witch walked the streets.

---

"I never have enough blankets," Fuku Biingu-Kei whined, pulling them around himself. He was not in the shrine, like he would normally be; he was taking advantage of the kindness of his Kariya Co associates. Business was bad with the red mist, and Kei had no real fighting abilities. Basically, he was being a coward and hiding out. He had a whole string of excuses as to why he needed to be taken care of. His favourite milked his blindness, I can't even see, you'd send a blind boy out into this chaos? I'd die! Which, to anyone who knew him, was unlikely. Kei was blind in the conventional sense, but he saw using reiki fields.

"You have all the blankets," a man with thick arms told him, while his wife snorted in derision. Strawberry was like a strange, exotic pet; he would show up, mooch for a while, and then disappear. Sometimes he brought goods, and he was as much of a healer as they had access to some days.

Kei opened his mouth to complain about being cold anyway, but someone pushed the door open. Kei fell over himself in his blanket nest, and lay sprawled on the floor; an oni in their home?!

It wasn't, though; it was the couple's son holding a man the same apparent age as he was. Kei recogized the signs by now: reiki poisoning. His Lucky Touch had kept the reiki poisoning at bay, but he was no real healer. Kei had no family, no mentor, no real money for training. He provided false prophecies and suspicious massages, for the most part.

Right now, although he didn't act like it, it was a crisis. Kei was here with these people because it helped calm them; he could stave off symptoms of reiki poisoning, or bind someone to life long enough to get them help. He didn't understand how it worked. He just knew it did, and he knew how to do it.

Kei unravelled himself from the blankets while the others shouted and put the man on the table. "Strawberry, you little--" the wife started to swear at Kei, for being a useless ingrate; it was fear that made her talk that way. He didn't deserve it, as bad as he was. The husband held her back, and Kei curled up on the table next to the man. Their son grew red in the face, and Kei could tell he was angry. It made Kei amused, and he smirked and kissed the poisoned man's cheek, winking up at the son.

"For good luck, you won't begrudge him that, will you?" He didn't wait for the reply. Kei placed his hands under the man's shirt, felt out the bones and the flesh and put his hands against the man's chest. Kei closed his blind eyes, and closed them again. Focusing in that light, with the room dim to his reiki sight, the sick man glowed. He drew at the reiki stores, and chanelled them into a spoon which had been knocked on the floor.

That would keep him alive for a little. Kei had shoved the excess reiki out of the man and into that spoon, but it was poisonous to the touch now. Not to mention that wouldn't prevent further buildup, it was just a temporary fix. "You need to get that s**t out of his system," Kei said, and then curled back up in his piles of blankets to sleep.

It wasn't just the spoon that took some of the reiki runoff; Kei had been using his own body to house some of the excess for quite some time. He chanelled the excess into his runes at first, but there was so much... in turn, Kei was running a fever. He needed to sleep, he needed water. Mostly, he wanted to stay out of the mist.

It wasn't that Kei was self-sacrificing, really. The energy fed something that lay dormant inside him, and when Kei went to sleep with the mist, it was someone else who woke.

As Fortay's eyes scanned the scene before him, he could not help but let out a little chuckle. As the soldiers were fighting off the oni, many of them where starting to fall ill to the poisoning. He let out a little sigh, wishing he knew what the chemical compound of this mist was, then he could make something similar and use it in interroga-...interviews. Oh, and he could try for a cure, but could he be bothered? Not really, cures take too long and besides, it was not like he was going to die any time soon. Fortay ran his free hand through his hair as he looked around for someone to annoy. Even if he was to fall down into the Soul Army fighting the oni, they might decide to attack him too, for it seems the soldiers down there happen to be the few that knows of him too well and know how irritating he could be.

Sitting down on the roof, he let out a loud yawn. Luckily it could not be heard over the sounds of the fighting down below. Then, Fortay had finally spotted someone he could talk to. Little Miss Baine, a young student from the academy and skilled in the art of healing and defences. From what Fortay could tell, she was able to remain unaffected to the poisoning, as long as she keeps recycling her Reiki. However, it looked liked she was being dragged off to help the Soul Army. He let out a small pout and then it hit him. Fortay needed someone to...talk to. She, from the looks of it, needed some rest. A grin appeared across his face, his hand resting upon his chin. "Well young miss, it seems I am going to have to kidnap you, huh?"

With a smile on his face, Fortay pumped Reiki to his feet to use his technique Ki, and then pushed himself off the edge of the roof and land quietly and softly on the floor below. Standing back up, brushing dirt off himself, Fortay started to make his way over to Miss Baine and the unsuspecting Soul Army soldier, a newbie by the looks of it. "Good afternoon chaps! Having a merry day are we?" The soldier turned to face Fortay, screwing up his face slightly. What do you think?! We are u to our heads in work here! If you are not going to help anyone leave." Fortay chuckled a bit, keeping his mouth covered. "Why, that is a bit disappointing, now isn't it? You could of put up more of a fight than that. And since you asked so kindly what I think, I shall tell you." Fortay took a few steps closer to the soldier, who raised his weapon in defence

"What I think is...you have no self-esteem. You had just passed the entrance exam into the Soul Army. You had only managed to pass the whole thing, having around fifty mental breakdowns within the first two months and about twenty in the last month. You wish that you had never been put into this fraction. You know you are pathetic. You. Are. Nothing." Fortay's lips curled into a smile as the poor big soldier was shot down to the size of a little boy, his eyes wide with fright as he muttered over and over 'How did you know?' With a smile, Fortay bowed to the 'boy'. "Just be sure to remember...I find out everything. No matter how much you cover it up, so with that."

Fortay faced Miss Baine and bowed deeply to her. "My apologise Miss Baine, I see you are very tired, and I am in need of help, so I have come here to...Whisk you away." With that Fortay grabbed Miss Baine's hand and darted off with her, the belittled soldier was trying to get the courage to stop them, but couldn't, the other soldiers had not noticed the whole event. So their escape was made clean. Fortay had led them into his house, did not take long since he darted behind alleyways and streets. As they entered the house, he looked over to see a worn out Miss Baine and smiled at her. "Apologies again Miss Baine, I should of warned you. I can see you are in need of sleep. There is a spare bedroom up the stairs, last door on the right, you are welcome to use it. There is a bathroom in there as well, so you can freshen up." Fortay bowed to her once again before taking a seat in his beloved arm chair and picked up one of his folders, which happened to be on the soldier from earlier.

This was the closet that Maddy had ever been to a 'field' fight. She was a bit busy being in awe of whatwas going on around her. There was a reason students didn't just get shoved outthe door. It was actually rather intimadating. But as soon as she started to realize what was really going on, someone new had entered the picture. Madison pushed up her glasses and looked over to see a taller male. He seemed rather aggressive, as hse spoke down to the Soldier. Maybe he had physic abilities?

But as soon as the verbal assualt started, it had also ended. When he grabbed her hand and ran off, Madison certainly had trouble keeping up. Luckily it didn't take to long for them to get there. As soon as the door closed behind her, she leaned over huffing, followed by a couple coughs. What she just kidnapped?

A bed? What was going on... Her hands rested on her knees and she took ina deep breath, her hands moving to her hips, that would allow for better air flow. "What did you just do?" She asked him. Her eyes landing on the file. Still a bit out of breath... "Can't go around just taking people..."

But secretly aslong as this wasn't some trick, her mind was already on the bed. "Who are you?"

Fortay looked up from the file and cocked his head to the right. "What did I do? Nothing really, I just happened to speak the truth to the man. You see a past can never be hidden from me." He smiled and threw the file onto the coffee table and stood up. He looked her over, from the looks of things, Miss Baine was not used to running...at all. He shot her a small laugh, then pushing his glasses back up onto his nose, his small triangle tattoo hardly being hidden,

"That might be. However, I have a few reasons for this." He took a few steps closer to her and smiled "One, to ask you what do you know about the poisoning. Two, if you have anyway to be able to make sure someone can't get poisoned. And lastly...I was bored" He shot the girl another friendly smile again and walked over to his bookshelf and too something out and started flicking through it quickly. After reading something briefly, he put it back on the shelf and look back over to her. "Who am I you ask? How rude of me, where are my manners?" Fortay took a deep bow, coming back up with a friendly smile. " I am Fortay Seth. This is my lovely house. I would of offered you some tea or coffee, but the poison has damaged my whole collection, so I am going to need to get more once this has been sorted..."

He trailed off slightly, then snapping back into the present. "You have no need to introduce yourself Miss Baine, for I already know a fare about on you." Fortay gave the girl a nice friendly smiled, not a creepy one like he did to the poor pathetic guy earlier, oh no. He knew how talented Miss Baine was, and how clever she was. There was no reason to play with her, only to be nice.

Exhaling, Madison had regained her breath and she looked around. The guy seemed like he was ADD. Raising her hand to her own glasses she pushed them up, sliding her back off her shoulders she placed it against a near by chair. She watched him curiously, she couldn't make heads or tails of him, but he didn't seem like he would harm her.

"So you took me, because you were bored..."
She sighed lightly. She wondered if they was going to be something normal. Random strangers swooping in... Well come to think of it, might make things a little more interesting...? Did she need that though?

"Well... I can't really figure it out." The female started to pace back and forth. "I'm able to cycle it out of the others, using my own Reiki to replenish theirs. aside from wearing me out, it hasn't made me sick. But I don't know if it'll stay like that. I recycle so much Reiki. I haven't tried taking it into myself though." She started to get into details, about how if she cycled some into her, how she could maybe understand it better... But could she get healed / heal herself after? And what was all this poison Reiki doing to the environment?

Maddy babbled one for a good 20 minutes, and then she realized that she had toned him out completely, and had paced around his whole living room about a hundred times. She looked over at him, blushing a bit... It was like she caught her second wind. But how embarrassing was that. She knew nothing about this guy.
