He had spent the night in the demon dorms again.
It was beginning to become a habit for Ren, who had decided that his own room was far too claustrophobic to stay in for long periods of time. Since returning from the island, he had developed a nasty tendency for insomnia, mostly due to the fact that he had been forcing himself to stay awake each night; he did not want to see the nightmares that plagued his every sleeping thought, and sometimes his waking ones as well. What resulted from this was that Ren now could only sleep a few hours at a time, most of the time less than that, and he constantly felt weary and exhausted.
It also meant that Ren spent a good deal of time wandering the halls of his dormitory, as well as ghosting through the ones at both the demon dorms and the ghost ones, visiting his closest friends. He was still not back to normal; not even close, especially considering his hand felt like it was getting worse (it wasn't, according to Gabrian, but it sure felt like it), but he was trying, which meant he needed all the support he could get.
Namely support from his best friend. After spending the night at Gabrian's, the nix had risen early to meet LW, leaving Ren finally asleep in his bed (the demon slept in the fish tank, in serpent form 99% of the time, leaving his nice, queen sized bed free). So when Ren awoke, sometime later on in the morning, he was alone.
Pushing himself upright, he rubbed tiredly at his eyes, feeling achey and unnerved. His dreams had been polluted again, his fingers absently drifting over his collarbone. It was only after he had stood up, getting ready to go back to the monster dorms to find his ghoulfriend, that he realized something - his bandanna; he was still missing it - both of them, in fact. Out of the two that he wore the most, one had been used as a sling for Jove's arm, the other for the ghoul on the beach - Yaya. He had used it to wrap her leg with. Vaguely Ren wondered how she was doing; was she all right?
...she was a demon, wasn't she? Which meant that she was somewhere in these rooms. Making his way out of Gabrian's room, Ren padded silently down the hallway, looking from door to door. He had, in fact, no earthly idea which room the demonness was in; nor did he know whether or not she was even home.
This had not been a very well thought out plan, apparently.

Hadiyya was home, though from the way she moved about the room in staggered limps, gathering up possessions and placing them in a small shoulder bag, it appeared she was on her way out. Sharra had already left for the day, back to his own dorm before heading off to check in on Aksaja. She worried over the dragon as well, but she had mission for the afternoon.
Slinging the strap of her back over a shoulder, the djinn crossed the sitting room, pausing at the low table to grab her phone from it's varnished surface(and almost falling in the process), before moving off towards the door. Her grip on the handle almost white knuckled. It was, to say the least, a definite challenge moving about on a broken ankle.
Which was why she leaving. She'd written home to her parent's to inform them she'd gotten injured in an accident, and requested a pair of crutches be sent. They had of course obliged, and there was a set now waiting for her at the entrance of the demon dorms. She'd never found need for crutches in the past, but surely they would offer a little more mobility with far less pain.
Pushing open her door, Yaya made a careful step into the hall that ended with her stumbling forward into the far wall when her injured ankle refused to take any weight. It brought a startled cry from her lips, followed by a rather pained groan.
This was not going very well at all. How in Jack's name was she supposed to get all the way down to the front desk?

Nope, not a very well thought out plan at all. Ren had been standing in the demon dorm hall for about fifteen minutes now, all of the time spent trying to figure out how he was going to figure out where Yaya even lived. He supposed he could have just gone door to door knocking, but that seemed mildly pathetic. He could ask someone, but that also seemed like a hassle, plus slightly intrusive.
So he had pretty much given up. Turning around to leave, he was about to make his way back to his own dorm room when there was the sound of a door opening behind him, followed by a small cry of pain - a familiar voice. Ren pivoted back around, his eyes moving down the hallway to find the very ghoul he was looking for trying to make her way towards the staircase. By the look of her pain stricken face and the way she was leaning against eh wall, she had not made it very far.
"Yaya," Ren called out to her, hastily jogging down the hall to where she was. He took ahold of her arm gently, trying to take the weight off of her injured ankle, which was wrapped heavily in a set of bandages. "Hey, what are you trying to do? You're hurt, you know; gotta take it easy."
He hoped he wasn't being too forward, but Ren knew very well how hard the field trip had hit all of them; his own right hand was covered in bandages similar to Yaya's.
"Where are you trying to go?" he asked her. "Can I help?"

The ghoul blinked up at her name, staring at the gryphon boil as he made his way towards her, and said a silent thanks to Skeleton Jack for the convenient timing. A friendly face, even one she didn't know all that well yet, was incredibly welcome right that moment.
"It hasn't quite slipped my mind," she added in comment to his reminder of her current state, chuckling softly before wincing again. "I was trying to get down to the front desk. There are crutches there waiting for me. " The irony in that statement was thick. "You can see how well that's working." Why oh why hadn't she thought to have the damn things delivered up to her room? Too late now.
"Help would be greatly appreciated." Pressing a hand into the wall she attempted to pull herself up and actually managed to get herself off her knees. Walking might not be an option right now, but she was pretty sure she could handle standing, and with the wall for support she was actually doing a decent job of it. "I don't suppose you'd be willing to fetch them for me? Or even just help me get down there." She'd take whatever help she could get at this point.
