Winhill.... It is a quaint, pastoral village on the southwest end of the Galbadian continent, west of the town of Timber in the Centra region. Somewhat isolated in comparison to other towns, Winhill has no direct road or rail connections and is cut off from the rest of the continent by mountains, making it accessible only by sea or air. The People did not travel with the City when it crossed worlds. But the monsters that had found their way into the town at the time did. They had Yellow bodies and claws, they were Lightning Souls. They had started to claw at the doors of buildings, unable to enter them. There was noone to stop them from taking over the town. Until....?

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Until a crystal hoverboard could be seen flying over the Monster filled city. A small rope was tied around it, unknown to Yuichi. Laguna had latched himself onto the board and was swinging on a rope. Yuichi didn't know until Laguna yelled," Hey! Land here! " Yuichi jumped and they came crashing down into the ocean on the side of Winhill. They bpoth stuck their heads out and looked at each other, before they both started laughing," You were?" " I was?"

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Laguna and Yuichi laughed for a while before Yuichi asked," Whats your name?" Laguna put a finger on his chest after he had gotten out of the water and said," Im Laguna, you can call me Uncle if you want. Kids usually do." Yuichi crawled out and replied," Okie Uncle Laguna!" When Yuichi said that Lightning Souls lunged from the ledge of the town, coming right at them. Yuichi slide the hover board into his pocket and ducked behind Laguna, who grabbed his shotguns out and aimed, and began to pull the trigger, loud booms could be heard around the town.

The Man with the Machine Gun Laguna fired his shotgun throwing the Lightning Souls back each time that went back. But they just kept coming, Laguna slowly yelled," This is what i get for leaving Winhill unprotected! " He fired it one last time before it dissapered in his hands and he got out the Machine Gun and rapid fired it into the monsters. Yuichi behind him got something out of his pocket and closed his eyes. The waters would start to curve in swirl behind him, he was summoning something. A frown on his face

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Laguna fired and fired and Yuichi threw out his hand and said," Sirens Call!" the Image of a woman appeared out of the water, and she began to sing. Laguna covered his ears and Yuichi closed his eyes as the Lightning Souls began to freeze and start to run at the water, seeming to drown the moment they jumped into the water and sink to the bottom. Yuichi kept his eyes closed, as the Sirens call stopped and she dissipated just like she had appeared.

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Laguna looked at Yuichi and said,"that wasnt a normal summon was it? Not a gf? But like a summonstone." Yuichi blinked cocking his head before memories flew into his mind and he slowly said," No it wasnt a GF. And actually its not even a Summonstone." He held it out saying," This is a empty Materia orb I use to focus sometimes. I dont know where I got it." He smield kindly at Laguna, who looked puzzeled but nodded saying," Allright" They turned and began to exlore the town, making sure no more monsters were here. Laguna stopped to look at Raines Pub.

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Laguna spoke slowly," I can just about see the two of them walking out that door again..." He frowned to himself. He had been thinking about Raine and Ellone. and Yuichi cocked his head and slowly asked," Who? " His eyes flashed showing two people," Raine... and Ellone?" he frowned and touched his shoulder," Anything could happen Uncle Laguna." Laguna smiled warmly at him and nodded before saying," What now?"

The Man with the Machine Gun Yuichi Age 14 Yuichi reached into his pocket and got the Crystal Board out saying," Lets go flying." Laguna snatched it from his hands making Yuichi give him a big sad puppy dog look and Laguna rolled his eyes and said,"Im driving." he tossed it out and hopped on, and Yuichi did the same. And he said,"Where we going then?" Laguna grinned and it latched to their feet, "Ragnarok!" the board zoomed straight and into the sky. Searching for the Ragnarok.

Inside the old abandoned home of what once belonged to Rain and Laguna so long ago, a faint white mist like formation appeared. It began to swirl into a mass all around the sofa. The little cat that seemed to alway's be sleeping there jumped off, and bolted out of the room downstairs! There on the sofa a glowing brilliant light suddenly flashed, the entire room lit up brightly. When all the light faded away, and the mist disappeared a young chestnut brown haired women was laying there in the sofa.The women had a light yellow headband in her hair, wearing a light cream colored turtle neck sweater and blue jeans.Suddenly, light grey-blue eye's slowly opened to the world once again. Rain sat up abruptly, gasping and breathing in deeply.Her mind was confused, lost..Right now she couldn't even determin what was happening! She was....breathing....She could see, and feel the soft plush cushion under her. Everything felt so real but how? How was this possible??
The first words that came from her mouth, were suddenly shouted into the air, her voice seemed stressed beyond all means, and confused! "Laguna!!? ....Squall?! " Of course she had never met her son, she died while giving birth to him.But still in her mind, she knew he was there after watching over him and Laguna from heaven! Clutching her chest, she gasped a bit when she attempted to put her feet to the ground. Her body still had to get used to being...alive. Taking it slowly now, she had to brace herself a bit on the back of the sofa to stand until she felt she could walk without falling or hurting herself!

Rain had made it slowly down the stairs, which with each small step taken, the more her body got used to moving and the pain would soon start to fade away. The young women eventually got outside, gasping as she shielded her eyes from the ever so bright sun! Grey-blue eye's slowly began to open again, letting them adjust to the sunlight with a soft sigh. Coming back to life was definitely not a most wonderful experience as you would think! Rain then continued on her way, The town seemed so empty. Was that a good thing or bad? If no one was here then did that mean Laguna might not have been ether?
After a while of walking, she came to walk down the very path Laguna and herself once went to in the grassy peaceful fields outside Winhill. And...soon, she would see that very spot where he had proposed to her, and the very spot her grave was. How strange, this was.... "Laguna..." She closed her eyes, clasping her hands in front of her. She wasn't sure what to do but,something inside told her to stay here, or at least not leave Winhill. So, she wouldn't. Instead she stayed right here..

The Man with the Machine Gun Laguna when he landed rolled and said," All right, shes not at the pub, which means." he turned and ran towards the field, twirling the wedding ring he still had with him in his hands and yelled,"Raine!!! Are you there" loudly and proudly, he was such a goofball!

The Man with the Machine Gun Laguna waved,"Raine! Its you!" he smiled happily before he froze and fell onto one knee yelling,"Oh crap! Leg cramp!!!" He rubbed his leg pouting like a little child, and looked up watching her and blushed slightly, and dropped the ring and grabbed it quickly.
