Below is the procedure for reserving cosplays, as well as details regarding the reserves themselves. All cosplay reservation requests will be made in this thread.
If you commissioned one of your reserved cosplays, please post about it in this thread. Only post here if you are reserving something new or taking something off without having commissioned it.
Please check the owners lists and the Cosplay lists.
If the cosplay is already listed in any of those lists, they cannot be reserved (for obvious reasons). <3

Slots
You are only allowed two reserve slots at any one time. Reserves that will be co-owned require one slot from both co-owners.
All cosplays when commissioned will be posted in the cosplays list thread, regardless of whether they are on your reserve list or not. When a cosplay is completed and certed, it will be taken off the commissioned list, and put into the completed cosplay list.
Reserves
Each reserve will stand for three months. If you have not obtained your reserve within the three months, they will become forfeit and be removed. You may put something else in it's place, but you will not be able to re-reserve the cosplay you lost, at least not for a month. If you are still trying for your reserve, but for some reason have been unable to get it, you can post before the three month mark and your reserve will be extended. The only reasons for an extension are 1) that you have been unable to gather funds, or that 2) you have been unable to get a slot. You will need to provide documentation of this; a thread in the quest forum would be perfect to keep track of your funds and custom attempts.
We will not come looking for this. If you haven't posted by the 3 month mark, your slots will be removed.
When entering customs, you must try to obtain a slot for one of your reserves. The ONLY exception to this is that the colourist is unable to do your custom. You will need your colourist to confirm this.
IMPORTANT STUFF
If you do not read all the rules and we can tell by what you try reserve (IE, something from the future plans list, breaking the two slot rule, etc) you will be unable to reserve something for one month.
You cannot place reserves for other people! Regardless of whether you will be paying for the pet upon commissioning, the person who the pet is for -must- reserve it for him or herself.
Please do not place a reserve if you are not serious about obtaining the cosplay. It prevents people who actually want the cosplay from getting it.
Do NOT constantly take things off your reserve list. Again, if you are reserving something, you should be serious about getting it. There is now a month long penality period for removing a reserve. In this month, you are unable to fill the now vacant slot with another reserve.
Continuous rulebreaking will result in a greylisting forbidding you from placing reserves in the future. Depending on the situation, your current reserves may or may not remain.

All you have to do is post the name of the character and where they are from (specific anime, game series, etc, or RL musician, actor, etc). Do NOT expect us to go looking to see if so-and-so is from this anime or that game.
Example:

Taigong Wang (Warriors Orochi 2)
If reserving a Pokemon or Digimon, include whether you are planning on getting a male or female.
