Nicknames: Syb, Sybbie
Gender: female

Faction/Race Undead - Patchwork (She has squash skin soaked in FEAR and she's filled with cotton. She also has a heart shaped clock where her heart should be. Her eyes, her hair, and her teeth come from corpses, though.)
Personality: A sweet, bubbly girl, she wants everyone and anyone to be her friend. She studies hard, but doesn't make that great of grades, and she is a hopeless romantic. She enjoys the idea of love in all shapes and forms, and often tries to "help people along" in their budding romances. Often, though, she fails horribly. She has low self esteem, and doesn't think of herself as beautiful, although she is quite the pretty little thing. She tends to focus more on others than she does herself, and is happy to point out the good in anyone, especially pretty females. Once in a while, though, she gets seriously depressed over how things never seem to work out for her and how she'll never be as good as the popular kids. These moments of melancholy are hidden pretty well (often spoken of only to her pillow.)
Her fears are: fire, bad hair days, and wolves (She has nightmares about big, ripping teeth and drool and--it's just creepy, trust me.) She's a little anxious whenever she runs into a werewolf, but as long as they stay in their human form around her, she's only going to jump a bit, not race away screaming. She'll even hesitantly try to make friends.
The heart that Bella implanted in her chest regulates the FEAR in her body, keeping it constant and flowing (like blood), but it's a weak point. It operates off of the FEAR that's been soaked into Sybaline's skin, and is pretty hard to stop, but if something were to stop it, Sybaline would fall unconscious until someone pulled it out and wound it up again. Two things that could stop it are lightening and being flooded with water. Another weakness is finding parts to replace hers is a bit harder than digging up a grave. Her mother made her skin special, and although she could substitute with a piece of clothing, or some other material, it just isn't the same! (Accessorizing is NOT that easy, people!)
Side note concerning the water thing: She makes up these waxes that she uses like lotion to coat her skin nightly, it helps keep the water out of her seams<3 And since she's such a girly thing, she likes pretty smells! Spiced pumpkin is one of her favorite, but she'll also use candy scents, so Sybaline always smells good!
What makes her mad is never something said or done to her. She's got too low of self esteem for that. No, what makes Sybaline mad to the point of physical violence is when someone insults someone important to her. Talk bad about her love interest? You're going to have a very tiny patchwork girl yelling in your face. Her family? You better watch your back. For a very, very long time. If they're stronger than she is (and there are a good many that are) it might be done a bit more deviously. She might take months to come up with some sort of revenge, but she will come up with it!
Her goal in her school life is to become a beautiful (with a boyfriend!!) girl, and help others become one as well. In her opinion, though, it's far easier to help others than to help herself. (She's easily taken advantage of because of this.) For after she's done with school, she plans on going back to Bella and work as her assistant.
She loves fashion. It's like, her obsession, and she's constantly reading fashion mags and helping other girls with their hair or make up. She plans on bringing it into her mad scientist career, making sure all of her monsters are as gorgeous as they can be, etc<3 This is why she's constantly changing her skull caps (hair is a girl's unlife!) and painting her fingernails. She's excellent with mani-pedis<3 She also designs and sews a lot of her own clothing. She would bring her seamstress doll to school with her<3 She has a sketchbook that she keeps under her pillow full of clothing and monster designs.
She loves bows with skulls in them, and since she's such an enterprising little thing, she has a habit of getting the skulls herself<3 That includes a creepy little hobby of hunting down birds and other such animals, killing them, skinning them, feeding their meat to her mini-pets, and preparing the bones in special fluids so they're nice and white! It's so much cheaper than buying them on the interweb!
It's only when her love interest comes into the picture that things change and Syb's less... stable side starts to show. She's obsessive. A stalker, you could say. She loves him with her entire being and would do anything and everything for him. It can be a bit overwhelming. Okay, not just a bit. She can be VERY overwhelming in her desire to portray her love. She's the type to leave little gifts where she knows he'll go by, to do his homework for him if he accidentally leaves his bag somewhere, to slip little love notes into the lunch boxes she makes him. She would happily die for him. (Of course, being a patchwork, that's a bit hard to do.) Funnily enough, if she would just relax and be herself, she's quite easy to love.
She has a little sister (another patchwork undead) who she dotes on, although she can't see her until she goes home for vacations. She's as apt to bring out a picture of her sister and flash it at people as she is to say hello. Ironically her sister is a serious, nerdy little thing with short black hair and glasses. She hardly ever smiles. They're exact opposites, but Syb doesn't seem to realize it. The little sister is only nine and is named Madeline. (To grow, Bella adds to their skin yearly, making them look older. Syb will be done growing in a few years.)
The relationship between Syb, Madeline, and their doctor/mother is a bit... intense, actually. It's all under the surface, but both Madeline and Bella are secretly stalking Syb. While when they talk on the phone Bella seems cordial and a tiny bit stiff, and Madeline seems sarcastic and derisive, both females keep track of Syb obsessively. Maddy is constantly doing background searches on whoever Syb is in love with or friends with, and Bella is regularly sending monsters to check up on her little girl<3 Maddy tends to think that no one is good enough for her big sister (and her mother totally supports, even encourages this sister complex.) Syb's love interest is very likely to get special "gifts" in the mail warning them to take good care of her... or else. Which, again, just makes her love even more suffocating! The poor, poor guy.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? She wants to help her doctor/mother in her work, and needs the education to do so. Bella Donna is a strange, nerdy female mad scientist that created her to do menial chores. Bella quickly grew a bit too attached to Syb, so she decided that she would send her to school, as if she were her own daughter. She expects her to learn all she can and come back home to be her assistant.
Syb loves Bella dearly, and has dedicated herself to combining her own hobbies (fashion, beauty, etc) with the mad scientist thing. She'll be the cosmetic surgeon of the mad scientist world! (when she's grown up, that is.) She really, really wants to learn how to make another patchwork, so she'll focus on science (Botany and Biology, especially) and FEAR, for the most part in her studies. She has pages and pages of designs of creatures (beautiful ones, of course) that she keeps in a notebook. Basically she dreams of making a baaaayybeeee! Another patchwork golem that's (dare she dream) close to being as beautiful as her adorable, perfect, wonderful little sister! (Her mother will have a HUGE part of this patchwork creating, but Syb is the one who will come up with the design!)
Another goal Syb has (a personal one) is to go to the human world and see what types of fashion they have there! She doesn't know much about the human world, really, but she's always willing to learn about different types of fashion!

There's also a good chance that she'll try and start up a "High Tea Society Club" where they throw tea parties and Cat goes "Change Places!!" on a semi regular basis.
FEAR: "Pocket Summons"
Physical. Syb has various pockets implanted in her body that she can pull summons out of. She has to focus on the place where the thing she's pulling out is, and if she can, on what she wants to pull out. This doesn't work that well, because it takes a lot of energy and she often loses focus, or forgets what's in the room she's picking. And (when she grows more adept) once in a while she underestimates the size of what she's summoning and it gets stuck>.< She can even pull a limb off trying to get her latest "weapon" out of the pocket!
But her idea of good weapons is strange to begin with. Bones, logs, a toy, a hairbrush, she's open to anything that catches her attention or just comes to mind, whether its useful or not. (And it's never a real weapon, not only are students not allowed, she personally hates the things!) For her first year she'll only be able to pull out tiny (mostly useless and ALWAYS random) things during a fight. Stuff like a finger nail file and a rubber ducky, or something<3 It's pretty pathetic.
For second year she'll be able to pull out something a bit larger and more dangerous, but only once during a battle. She'll have found the cemetery by then. There's lots of bones there! And rocks!
For third she might have an entire arsenal of random objects ready at her fingertips!
Natural Ability:
• Interchangeable limbs: Patchworks can function with their limbs interchanged, heads popped off, so on so forth. Their soul is bound to their patched up body by a strong magic. (If this works for a golem version as well?)
Physical Description: She's perfectly shaped (well, almost, one boob is a good two centimeters larger than the other, and one arm is a teeny tiny bit longer than the other. But only she focuses on these things.) She's 5'4. And like all patchworks, her skin tone comes in all natural, and a few unnatural colors<3
Eye Colour: The left eye's brown, the right's green. Bella looted them in the dead of the night from the local cemetery, as is proper<3
Hair Colour/Style: she has a habit of changing her hair by reattaching new skull caps. Her favorite is a gigantic set of blond curly pigtails that are pulled up high but fall down past her fingers, but she has others.
Skin Colour: multi colored, anything from blue to pink.
Clothing Style/Colours: Her clothing is an orange dress made up of various materials (Maybe a patch or two, otherwise it's overwhelming in color) and tied under the breasts with a black band (with bow!), the skirt shows off long multi-colored legs. Holey fish net stocking on one leg (or nothing at all, artist discretion), thigh high striped sock on the other. Black canvas tennis shoes with neon orange and green colored tongues that stick out, or the more traditional black ankle high boots. (Artistic license is love, and changes here and there are welcome! As long as she's scrapyard fashionable with a hint of punk! And bows with skulls in the middle = heart )
Extra: She has long lines of loosely laced cuts on her arms, legs, and side that don't depend on the skin being stitched together. Those are where she summons things from. She has a heart shaped patch of skin over her heart.

 Sybaline by Safaia<33 Sybaline's Origins It all started with a smashed pumpkin left sitting on the corner of the street. Bella stopped, her hands full of the various things she'd been collecting for her latest project, and stared. The items she had worked so hard to collect fell to the ground as she walked to the pumpkin, crouching down in front of it with a strange look on her face. She stayed like that for a good hour, getting relieved looks from the people that passed by. For a mad scientist, Bella Donna wasn't anything that the town cared to brag about. She was usually far too normal. But finally she was acting strange and creepy! They would have applauded, but they didn't want to break her concentration. The items she had dropped were left to be cleaned up by the janitor zombie as Bella went home to start drawing up schematics, and more importantly, figuring out a way to pay for it. No one saw her for an entire month. A few of the scarelings were certain she had died, and did their best to peek through the dingy windows of her basement lab. They were a bit disappointed when the door swung open and a very dirty looking Bella came out with a triumphant look on her face and a squash in her hand. The squash looked exactly like a twisted, horrified head, complete with a grimacing face. The squashes sold like hotcakes once people realized they grew that way. People were certain that they were what Bella had been planning when she stared at the pumpkin, and they were mildly impressed. It wasn't utter evil, but it was useful, and they made SUCH great decorations for the yards! But it was a bit strange, what she asked for in return. Each person buying had to infuse some of their FEAR into a big bucket of liquid that she pulled along behind her in an orange dwagon. She disappeared again after that for an entire two months. (There were rumors that some people saw her in the cemetery at midnight once, but there was no proof to back it up.) She finally came out (officially) when the squashes had grown soft and were being tossed out onto the street for the zombies to pick up. Her squeaky wheeled orange dwagon woke everyone up far too early in the morning as she piled it up with the crushed squashes and took them back to her lab. This time the scarelings weren't about to be stopped. One of the little ghosts slipped through the wall of the lab, watching invisibly as Bella cleaned out the squashes and sliced the skins, laying them out in a tray of strange, glowing liquid that pulsated with FEAR. On her table he saw a half built clock of sorts, with pieces laying out all around it and a scare driver laying forgotten to the side. He watched as she finished laying out the squash skin to soak and headed for the table to work on the clock. It was strange, he told them later, how calm and logical she seemed to be as she built this strange, strange clock. He couldn't help but jump in shock as she finished it, closing the cover and winding the clock. But the creepiest part (the little ghost said gleefully) was the sound the clock made as it ticked. "Lub-dub, lub-dub, lub-dub," he regaled them. "Just like a heart!" The neighbors began watching the door of the lab, anticipating what was going to happen next. Finally, they whispered, finally they had a mad scientist they could write their neighbors about! There was no doubt in their minds that Bella had done something frightful. Something horrific. Something magnificent! But a month passed. Then another. Slowly the neighbors forgot about Bella and her project, returning to their daily lives. Only the little ghost who had seen what was going on kept track of what she was doing, watching in fascination as she pulled the squash skins from the trays and pinned them to clotheslines that stretched out across the room like photos being developed. They came out different colors, which seemed to confuse Bella. He listened to her as she chatted to herself about how the different types of fear must have caused the different tones. He would have told his friends about it, but by then they had dismissed it as well, thinking that if the adults dismissed it, it wasn't anything important. So the little ghost went back to lurking, watching as the mad scientist took down the pieces and started sewing them together. It was a slow, painstaking process just to watch. Each piece was measured and fitted over and over again, molded like clay into the shape of a little scareling, then sewn together piece by piece. The ghost wanted to leave, wanted to forget about this, but he found himself fascinated, as obsessive about the building process as Bella seemed to be. And when she started filling the little girl-- and it was obviously a girl by this point-- with cotton, he almost cheered as she placed the strange clock where the heart should be. "Are you going to give me a hand?" Bella asked, startling the little ghost. "I need to take her to the cabbage patch." The little ghost came into view, staring up at her with surprise, but he silently nodded, offering to help wherever he could. She gently placed the inert body into her little orange dwagon, and they left for the cabbage patch. It was a rainy, stormy night, which seemed to make Bella extremely happy. The little ghost watched in wonder as the mad scientist pulled open the heart shaped part over the clock and pulled out a collapsible metal pole, hooking it to the clock and raising it to the sky.  "She should have enough FEAR," Bella told him as the thunder and lightning started to rage in proper response to the scientific moment. "So all we need is a bit of my FEAR and a lot of lightning!" She moved to the little girl's head, pressing her hands to the temples and releasing her FEAR. Lightning struck the metal rod, shooting down it and slamming into the body, making it jerk. "Live! Live! LIIIIVVVEEE!!!" Bella shouted in proper mad scientist fashion as the body glowed, lifting from the dwagon for a moment before falling again. Slowly the eyes of the little girl opened, looking up at Bella curiously. "M--mommy?" "That's my Sybaline," Bella said, falling to her knees and letting out a happy little sigh. -----------------

Crit is love<33 - A (possible) love interest! - A BFF, someone to talk fashion and hair with and let Syb practice her makeup and hair skills on! - A FAKE BFF, someone to use her shamelessly and possibly make fun of her behind her back. Plots I would SO do if I got her- She will definitely have a long running family plot in the background. Stalking runs in the family<3 - The option of her stalking Christof is totally on the board<3 But what'd really kill me is that even though she "adores him with all her heart and soul!!" she still tries to hook him up with whoever he's got a thing for at the moment. It's a bittersweet romance that she would wallow in oh so dramatically. Ohsofun<33 Yes, I realize that I make fun of my own character<3 But character torment is so much fun! Syb's themesong:Kiss MeFanarts of LooooveeeYasha AlchemistSafaia--------  This is Alpha. He's not technically Syb's pet, he's Dr. Madd's head henchman, out to kidnap Syb! But Syb adores him, and often feeds him treats whenever he comes to "see her." It's ate up, but it amuses me<33 He's related to Zeta and Omega, who became the skulls in Syb's bows. Pets! *The foxfires are the ones you'll see her with on campus most. The rest come and go from her closet and stay in her room. Snatch is her troublemaker. He keeps stealing the other minipet's foods! Syb is worried he's going to get far too fat to walk, because his legs are so short crying Snickers is always so happy! It makes Syb happy, but it worries the other minipets. This little guy laughs at EVERYTHING. They think he landed on his head a few too many times. This is Snitch. She tattles on everyone, barking and yapping the moment she thinks someone had done wrong. Drives Snatch crazy. Santa: Santa scares her a little bit, actually, which is why he's named Santa. He likes to sneak into the room at night and watch her sleeping. She's gotten used to it... somewhat. Sweetie and Sourpuss are always together and NEVER agree on anything. They fight over everything that they want, but they turn on Santa when he gets too close. Poor Santa. Stitches here showed up out of nowhere and crawled under Syb's bed. She, ah, actually doesn't even know he's there yet. Juno comes and goes randomly, but she seems to have adopted Syb as her owner. At least, she lets Syb feed her treats! (which is good enough for Syb's tastes<3) Gulp is Syb's pillow. He likes lounging around too much to move whenever she drops down on him, she's light and he's tough, so they're both happy with the relationship! Palmon is Syb's secret favorite (don't tell the others, please!) He actually enjoys her tea parties and cuddles with her while watching sappy movies. Well, they all do, but he actually stays awake through them!

I AM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT TO CRIT. She seems well rounded and interesting and adorable! ;3;
What does she think about Mad Science? Does she have any interest in continuing to be her Mistress's assistant? Besides matchmaking, is there anything else she has a penchant for? (Although omg she'd be an adorable cosmetician or hairdresser <33 )
I can't help but think that she and my Igor character Christof would get along like a house on fire ;3; <33 He's got more of a rigorous sort of Master though.
Regarding "Weapons of Choice" you might want to check on your fear power- only Reapers are allowed actual Weapons. Unconventional things like the nail file might be okay though? IDK best check with a GM!

She sounds... SO COOL.
I don't have much crit really. I love the relationship she seems to have with her creator and that the Doctor was the one who was too attached. Perhaps she learned this obsessive attachment from mommy/doctor dearest?
I admit I want to see her stalk Cristof. I want to see how he handles a lady patchwork.. and how he handles a stalker! XD But those hopes seem to be jumping the gun a little bit. Haha

Oh, the doctor is MUCH better at hiding her stalking hobbies than Syb is! She only plants little cameras in Syb's bags and sends a few spies (bats, various little monsters, etc) to check in on her once in a while. Syb has no idea.

she sounds absolutely darling! i love her design and her personality. ; ; you might want to put up the natural ability (found in the "undead" section) since i believe patchworks are listed already~ and perhaps solidify a name for her FEAR. but otherwise she sounds adorable! her personality is really natural and very teenager, which i am absolutely loving (and the stalker bit is so lulzy but cute XD).
i'mma have to draw her sometime. <3 good luck in getting her!
