This is a private role play between Huang-Fu[Nyxtsuki Moon] and Kyung[Koco Pelli].
SettingHuang-Fu's Home Sneaking into the Lee estates, Kyung delivers a charm that expresses more than just concern for the legionnaire. Will Huang get his feelings across to Kyung this time?

Thumbing the coarse fabric, a light smile crossed on the noble's lips. He certainly hadn't expected to wear this again. It was a woman's garb after all, and a servant's uniform at that. Like the day he had run into Sara, the golden comb had been replaced with long hair sticks that wrapped and held up Kyung's long locks in a neat wrap. Brushing his bangs out of his eyes, he reached into the sash and pulled out the note he had found in his sleeve. The writing was unmistakable; it was from Huang.
Silvery orbs scanned the piece of paper again, taking in the hastily scribbled words.
Dear Kyung, I am sorry for what happened last time. I hope you will forgive me. By the time you read this, you will be back in your own room. Get well, and we can sit together by the cherry tree again.
Love, Huang
"Such a typical thing of you to write, Huang." He said to himself gently. Rubbing his thumb across the surface of the note, he slowly placed it back into his sash before pulling out something else. It was a small jade bracelet. It wasn't much, but the charm had still cost him a small fortune. Quality jade was hard to come by these days for nobles with majority of the jade mines under the control of Legionnaire forces. Nonetheless, the fact that the bracelet had an infinity knot had been more than enough for the noble to buy it before someone else could.
He couldn't remember where he had learned of it, but the knot was one of buddism's sacred eight symbols or, the Samsra as it was also called. That aside, Kyung had picked it up remembering the knot was a powerful charm against danger while ensuring protecting and bringing in good karma. It only seemed fitting to get it for Huang. The boy was an assassin, no doubt he was on constant danger.
Even if Kyung did not approve of Huang's newly kindled affections for him, there was no denying that Kyung still thought of Huang as a close friend. The last thing he wanted was for his friend to get hurt.
His head jerked upwards when he heard the muffled sound of foot steps. Was it Huang?

Huang-Fu fidgeted in his room, it had been weeks since he had seen Kyung last. Ever since his new duty as guardian to the meek soul conduit Sara, Huang had never been free from his duties. Piled with Sara was his brother and the constant assassination trips in the night, as of late, his mother sent him out with more and more. It was overwhelming him and exhausting him. He would have asked his mentor and master Jianyu for aide, but didn't want to bother the older man with Huang's petty request and in all honesty, they were at war. Jianyu would be more busy battling then to baby sit. Huang cringed at the harshness of his thoughts and sighed. It wasn't fair to Sara, to be thought of so. She was a beautiful and kind young woman, Huang had only begun to think of her as a little sister. Timid and Naive, he enjoyed her personality compared to his harsh reality.
Today he had been granted a little sanctuary from his duties, a moment of peace for himself to rest and to relax and gain his breath. His body craved sleep, yet his mind and heart cried out for his love. To be separated so long was hurting him. Had he been more free, he would've infiltrated the Tae's estate and stowed away to Kyung's room. Alas, the chains that binded him here did not reach any further then his own estate.
He thoughts haunted him down the garden's walk away path, his footsteps were a light tap n the hard stone. He barely noticed the servant girl when he smelled an unmistakable and painfully reminder of Kyung, his love. Turning, he eyed the woman who had walked by, though he only noticed the back of her. He almost shoved the servant out of his mind but his mind had other idea's. "Excuse me Lady Servant, but are you new here?" The word's slipped as he turned to face her.

Kyung paused when he heard that familiar voice. It was Huang-Fu! Turning, he chuckled lightly. Bowing lightly to the legionnaire, he answered in a teasing tone at the boy's question. "I am offended that you do not remember me, Master Huang. I have been here once before." There was a light pause as his hand raised up to touch his darkly bruised temple; the throbbing suddenly worse from his bowing earlier. He crossed his arms across his chest and spoke again. Don't tell me you forgot even after you took the time to break my nose, provoked me into fighting you, and even carried me back home last time when I fell ill." He took a light step back. "Perhaps you do not love me as much as you claim if you cannot even tell that it is I under this guise."
However, the striking part in his appearance wasn't that he had dressed up as a woman. It was his busted lip and the dark bruise that had flowered on his right brow hastily covered by his bangs.
"I'm glad I finally got to speak with you again…" there was a light pause before Kyung muttered his name. "Huang." It was almost as if for a brief second, the noble had forgotten Huang's name and had just remembered again. Raising his hands up, he reached over to smooth out the wrinkles in the Legionnaire's clothes. "I came to give something to you." Brows creasing lightly, he chewed on his lip trying to remember where he had placed it. He had it just moments earlier…..

"Kyung!" Huang squeaked the name out as he quickly looked around, if anyone from the estate had seen him, Kyung would've been killed on the spot! He rushed over to his love, taking his elbow in his hand before migrating him to a quieter spot of the garden. "Kyung, you know how dangerous it is here. Though I am pleased to hear your voice after so long." Huang bent down to Kyung, taking him into a tight hug. "I have truly missed you lo-Kyung." Huang pulled back to study his love and friends face and eyes widened again, his hand brushed over the boys cheek.
"What happened to you? This is not damage caused from me. We're you attacked?" Huang's darkened in anger, his hand twitched with a controlled anger at the thought of someone daring to attack what he consider under his care. If there was something Huang prided himself on, truly prided himself was providing protection for those he truly loved. Minus Yuan and Shin-mu. Huang sighed, his hand going to the leaf charm on his belt, rubbing his hand over it. A reminder of a Lunarian he had truly done wrong.
"Of course I wouldn't forget about you Kyung." Huang's voice was deep and trickled, once ignited with heat of battle now with passion for his love. He cleared his throat to calm himself before cocking his head at the boy, brows furrowing in curiosity and confusion. "You came to give me something? Going so far to sneak in? I am intrigued Master Kyung." Huang shifted closer to Kyung, a little into his touch and tried not to take in the satisfaction that Kyung had willingly touched him.

Kyung smiled as the Legionnaire finally recognized him. Letting Huang lead him to more secluded area, his eyes widened in gentle shock as the other boy took him in a hug. "I'm glad. I was worried that you might be angry with me coming here." Judging from how the boy had spoken, it seemed as if Sara had not told Huang that he had come earlier in the week. When Huang's fingertips brushed over the dark bruise, the smile vanished and he reached up to move the boy's hand away.
"It's nothing." Yes, he'd been attacked but it wasn't exactly something he wanted to remember right now. When his followed Huang's hand to the small leaf charming hanging from it, he couldn't help but reach down and touch it as well. The work was very familiar, like the one Shin-mu had worn on her wrist. "Where did you get this Huang?" He asked gently. Perhaps Shin-mu had been right in her story about Huang leaving her because she was a noble. But if so, then why was Huang wearing this? His hand grabbed onto Huang's arm for support as a splitting headache came. Hand reaching up to massage his temple, he pressed his face against the Legionnaire's chest. Perhaps… Shin-mu had done more damage to him than he had anticipated.
"Yes… I came to give you…. something." Pulling away from Huang for a second, he reached into his sash and pulled out the bracelet once more. Keeping the bracelet hidden in his fist, he took Huang's hand and placed it in the Legionnaire's hand. "I saw it at a vendor's stall outside your house. They say that an infinity knot brings good karma and will protect you from ill-will." His grip on the boy's arm tightened for a brief second before he let go of Huang. "Perhaps, it isn't what you expected. But I couldn't rest without knowing that maybe you would be a little safer with this."

Huang sighed before looking at Kyung, "Why would I be angry with you Kyung." Huang patted the boy on the head before his hand fell back to the cheek where the bruise was. It marred his delicate features and still angered Huang that someone had laid hands on his love.
"Alright Kyung, When your ready to tell me you will." Huang smiled sadly as his hand was pushed away, letting it drop to his side. He shivered as he felt Kyung touch lower to his belt and steeled himself against the boys innocent actions that left a not so innocent impression. Huang shook his head at himself, so easy to excite just by a touch. There had to be something wrong with me, Huang smiled grimly before looking at the charm. "It was a gift. Something to remember something I lost." He shrugged and when Kyung stumbled due to a pain in his head, Huang's arm cam around him protectively to keep him steady.
"Do you want to sit somewhere Kyung, Maybe it would be better since you have such a injury." Huang reached up to brush a strand from the boys face before his eyes went wide in surprise. "You snuck into my estate like a woman to give me something?" Huang showed a child like smile and eagerness as waited for Kyung to pull out a bracelet, staring at in awe. Not once had he been given such a valuable gift. "This is a most cherished gift Kyung..." Huang gripped the bracelet in his hand before slipping it over his wrist and looking at his love. It was a step. "Kyung....Thank you. I do not mean to cause you worry and for you to give me this gift. It means a lot." Huang pulled Kyung into a tight hug, careful of any injuries. Sadly he broke apart and stood their awkwardly with Kyung. He had hoped to sneak a kiss in, but what Kyung right now was friendship which mean Huang had to be on his best behavior. "Kyung, honestly. What happened to your face? If you worry for me, Should I not be allowed the same? I would understand better if you told me?"

Kyung smiled. "Because I came earlier during the week in hopes of giving it to you all the sooner." Not wanting to elaborate, his eyes fell back on the small charm on Huang's wrist.
"And that something you lost is Shin-mu right?" He asked. Pulling away from Huang, he took a slow step back. As much as Huang was his friend, he couldn't bring himself to look at the legionnaire in the eyes. It was as if someone or something was squeezing his heart, filling it with an overpowering emotion. It wasn't rage, hate, or even sorrow, he was feeling disappointment. After his fight with Shin, he had expected something. Some truth, or even an explanation from Huang. But, not this. He felt conflicted. Following the fight with Shin, he had spent many nights telling himself that his friendship with Huang would never change. That the whole incident with Shinmu had just been a test set for him by the goddess.
When the mentioned something about sitting, he shook his head. And upon seeing Huang's elated smile, he couldn't help but respond with a smile of his own. "I'm glad you like it. I was worried it may not suit your taste." At the mention of of his face again, his expression darkened.
He couldn't hold back any longer. He had hoped not to tell the nature of his wounds to Huang, but… things were not as simple as they had been. "You still feel for her, don't you?" He asked, placing a hand on the other's arm in a soothing manner. "Do you think about her?" The last question had slipped out on its own, and Kyung flushed light. "You don't have to answer that."
"But, I believe she still think about you Huang."He chewed on his lip, unsure of how to proceed. No doubt the subject was one Huang would try to avoid, but he needed to know the truth if Huang wanted his trust. "I ran into her the other day at the Cherry Tree Hill. She was eavesdropping on me." He smiled faintly, knowing that whatever resulted from this would not be pretty. "She heard me mention your name, and her demeanor changed. What you did to that girl, you have wronged her deeply Huang. And I admit, I have wronged her as well. Somewhere in our fight, I lost my temper with her and struck her across the face, pushed her around a little, and I regret that."
Thinking back on the fight, he visibly flinched as he saw in his mind's eye Shin's dizi striking him against the head. And for a second, he was back at the hill standing across from Shin. He let out a groan of pain as the dizi cracked against the side of his skull. Lights swam in his vision, and Kyung lifted up a hand to his face to steady and gather himself. He could hear the loud ringing noise return. "Huang, if you really love me as you say you do… do not got angry at Shin for my face." The boy muttered, standing up straight once more as the pain quickly receded.

Huang cocked his head at the boy as he played with the bracelet on his wrist. "You tried to sneak in before??" Huang tried to go over a time when he heard of a new servant service or if he had ever felt Kyung. "I did not know. but that might be with all the....missions I am under now. I have been assigned to a young priestess as her guardian, with her and my brother, plus missions from mother I have been worked to the bone." Huang said wistfully.
Huang flinched at the name and stared wide eyed at Kyung before looking shamefully away. Shin-Mu, she had been wronged by him and Huang had known it. After he had grown and achieved his fighter status, and after the love he felt for Kyung, He had opened his eyes to the damage he had done to the girl. It was unforgivable and it was devastating. It was a sin almost that Huang would carry, much like the reminder of the leaf charm on his belt.
"That's right. She was my first love, a Beautiful maiden with a sweet song. She was kind and gentle." Huang covered the leaf charm and sighed, "And I wronged her in blind hate and ideals. If not for me, She would've-" Huang stopped himself and sighed again. He turned his back to Kyung before walking to a bench meticulously placed near the edge of small pond and sat, patting the seat next to him.
"Come Kyung. What I feel for Shin-Mu now, is pain and self loathing. I wronged her as I said before, by not accepting her because of her alliance and because I was so intertwined in betrayal and fear. I was not ready for her or her pure love and I turned it into hate for me." Huang turned to Kyung, his burgundy eye's filled with pain and hurt, "I do still think of her and what she has made herself into. But I also think of what pain I caused her, and so If I was to meet her, I would keep the facade of hate and betrayal. I dare not ask her for forgiveness, for I deserve none." Huang brushed Kyung's cheek. "It seems to me that you have both been rough with each other.. Forgive me for this pain, yet another lash to add to the things I have caused." Huang let his hand drop before looking at Kyung again, "I do not have a second chance with Shin-Mu, Kyung, There is no doubt in that. Her once beautiful love is now a deep hate, and I will let it remain that way. For I owe her that at least." Huang got up before walking to the pond and dipping his hand in, wadding it around.
"Does this change how you see me? Because I hated her for being a noble without knowing her truly? Because my hate stemmed from my birth. It was all I knew at once. Then I met her, and Jianyu and finally, You." Huang smiled sadly in the water, "Is this my penance for the wrongs I have done her? To be rejected by the one I love for a past mistake resulting in more hate between the alliances?"

Kyung nodded. The other's explanation made sense. After all, wasn't it that specific priestess under Huang's care that he had run into on his last visit here? "Miss Sara correct?" He smiled faintly and put a hand on the other's arm. "It's my fault for forgetting that you have obligations to your house. It's only natural that you'd be busy."
Kyung stood there and watched. The way that Huang was describing Shin, it was very similar to the rumors he had heard floating around about her. He felt relief at how pained the legionnaire was over the girl. Perhaps, if the two had met under different circumstances then there wouldn't have been that anger. He was starting to understand the rage Shin must have kept inside. About how it must have festered and burned when she realized someone such as himself, a social mutt and noble could have something she couldn't. Perhaps, that was all the more reason for him to apologize. When Huang motioned for him to take a seat by him, Kyung did as requested.
Sitting down on the stone bench, he twiddled his thumbs and listened attentively to the other's story. When the other finally finished, he also stood up and walked over to stand by the Legionnaire. "Huang, though we may not know each other as intimately as you may have known Shin-mu, I have still seen the positive changes in you. Do you forget? When we first met under the tree, we had no idea what the other's face or alliance was. Thus, our friendship was able to take place. Yet, forgetting that, when we first met face to face our first reaction was to throw our alliances in each other faces which you prompted responded to by breaking my nose." He chuckled. For him to be able to laugh at the incident fondly, time was flying. He reached for Huang's hand and tangled his fingers with the other male's. "However, you didn't end it there. When we met again, you were able to look past alliances. You apologized, and our friendship is proof of your maturity. You've grown. You need to give yourself more credit."
"If anything, this has helped me to know that I can trust you to continue being my friend. You've learned from your mistake with Shin-mu." And perhaps, it was time for him to acknowledge the fact that Huang wasn't just proclaiming his love to irritate the male. "No, not rejected. Accepted more like." Hearing his own words, he flushed lightly.
Nevertheless, he could only imagine how weary Huang was from constantly having to chase after him. To be close enough to touch, but never quite close enough to grab. Taking a step closer to the legionnaire, he reached up and cupped Huang's face in his hands before giving him a gentle kiss. "Prove to me that I'm not making a mistake by letting you have my trust, Huang." He murmured. "Show me that you learned from your mistakes. And in return, I will try my best to show you that I do value you far more than I make you out to be."
Standing there looking at the ground, the noble retainer could only hope that wasn't making a mistake. For once, he wanted someone to call as his own. For Shin-mu to have suffered so much from Huang, then the memories they shared must have been particularly warm. For as long as he could remember, he life had always been frigid. Always living but never quite alive. He wanted to feel alive.

Huang cocked his head at Kyung, "You already met Little Sara? She didn't tell me that she had met you!" Huang rubbed his chin in thought before pushing it aside, the little girl was timid at most and very shy, and he had yet to gain her trust still. It would take time but it would happen. "No no, It is not fair to you Kyung. To be...friends with that of what I am, It is any wonder that you take the time at all. Thank you again." Huang took Kyung's hands in his and kissed the knuckles before letting them drop.
"How is it that you know the words that comfort me Kyung." Huang was surprised again as the other boys laced his fingers through his and squeezed tightly, "It is true that I have grown. But not without pain and cause. Like you said..." Huang tweaked the other boy's nose before brushing it, "I marred your face, though it does give you a more......manlier charm." Huang chuckled enjoying the happy mood and teasing.
"Ah...." Huang went silent as he felt a wave of joy rush over him, Kyung had accepted him? Had he accepted his love as well? His thought was answered when Kyung took his face in his hand and laid the sweetest but gentlest kiss on his lips. It was sweet and it did nothing to burn the craving Huang had for the boy, but at the same time, he was in shock and pleased that all he could think of was that, Finally, he had gotten through to Kyung.
"Kyung...." Huang took the boy's hands in his again and rubbed his cheek to them, his eyes closed before opening them to stare at the other, "I will try not to betray you, I might upset you though if you don't mind, and I might frustrate you. but I will never betray your trust and your chance that you are giving me." Huang sealed the vow with a kiss to Kyung's forehead. "But I will take it a little slower." Huang laughed. So overly filled with joy that he picked the boy up and swung him around. Though his face returned to the stoic expressionless face, yet it didn't diminish the obvious happy vibes.

"Perhaps she thought it was for your own safety. After all, she did accuse me of being an assassin." He couldn't helped but give Huang a bemused look. "I don't believe I have the hands near calloused enough to even come off as an assassin." Shrugging, he watched as Huang brought his knuckles up to his lips for a kiss. It was a small gesture, but one that still made the noble flush regardless.
Hearing the boy say manlier charm was more than enough to make him smile and burst into laughter. "You like it? Maybe I should try harder to be just the slightest less effeminate." He gave the male a relaxed look. It was nice, this atmosphere. It was lighter than the one they had shared at the hill, but it was just as special, just as private. He wanted more moments with Huang like this. No worries to burden down with, just each other's company
When Huang took his hands and brought it to his face, he flushed lightly. His eyes locked with Huang's own crimson ones, he smiled faintly at the other's words. "That's all I ask of you. And, at times, I will probably frustrate you and upset you as well. But, I will try my best to keep that from happening." When Huang suddenly lifted him up into the air and swung him around, his eyes grew wide with surprise and embarrassment. "Put me down!" He hissed, trying to keep his face from burning any brighter. When the other set him down on his feet, he swayed lightly with dizziness and grabbed onto Huang's arms for support. Holding onto Huang, he couldn't help but burst out into laughter.
Despite Huang's stoic expression, it was so obvious that the legionnaire was happy beyond words. "Are you free this coming weekend?" He asked casually. "Father is getting a new shipment of silk sent in from another city. I want to see what colors will be nice on you, and then we can get a few pieces tailored for you. I think it would be nice to see you in some lighter colors." He smiled as he tugged lightly at the male's dark blue shirt hem. "And before you say no, I would like to remind you that I am still a man. Therefore, it's only natural that I want to see the person I cherish dressed nicely."

"Sara thought you a Assassin?" Huang was more shocked over the fact that Sara would assume the little frame of Kyung could carry the skills and strength of an assassin. It was wise of her not to decide based on appearance but even then, Kyung had no evil aura, in fact, he didn't even really feel like a threat. "No, not the hands nor the heart for it Kyung." Huang sighed flipping Kyung's hand over before poking the boy's chest where his heart was. "And that is a good thing indeed."
"Your nose?" Huang cocked his head before chuckling, "I like everything about you Kyung but, It does give you a cute charm." He tweaked it one more time before sticking close to the other boy. He so enjoyed this moment so much, as he curbed his tongue to make sure he said nothing to offend the other. He smiled widely as he set the boy down, make sure to keep a firm yet gentle grip on the other. "Haha! It seems we may butt heads a time or two Kyung, but I intend to make up for it every time." Huang waggled his eyebrows as his face set in that perfect stoic motion. His eyes though were mirroring his thinking process, one which was happy and plotting.
"This weekend?" Huang thought of any event or duty he had planned and shook his head. "Not that I know of, Sara is my only worry but if I ask Xiao and his Fiancee, They may take her for the days." Huang rubbed his chin before frowning, "Though nights I will not be free, for I never am. Unless you were to some how make a formal request to my mother, which being part of the noble alliance, and with such a large family name I really doubt would go over well. No matter though." Huang waved his hand, "I am sure I can spend time with you Kyung. Though, you want to change my look?" Huang looked down at his usual gear, it was comfy in the it packed everything he needed and didn't itch way, but it wasn't a practical normal day wear. "Ah, I don't have many clothing." Huang blushed at the statement. The only outfits he had were his training outfit, his assassin gear and his formal wear. Oh and lastly his metal shop working outfit, which sadly he hadn't worn since he last was in the shop. And that was when he had made Shin-Mu the matching charms.
"If it is with you Kyung, I would be pleased to accompany you." Huang leaned down to whisper in Kyung's ear. "Anywhere you go, I will go if you want me." He laced his hand through Kyung's, squeezing it.

Kyung nodded at the other's question. "Yes, this weekend. However, if you can't, we can always try another day." He knew from the start that it would be difficult for them to meet up. Perhaps, if they had been of same alliance it wouldn't have been an issue, or at least, a lesser issue. "And not so much change your looks as I would like to give you some new clothes." Reaching up, his fingers traced the frayed edges of Huang's collar. "When was the last time you bought new clothes?" He teased, pulling at a loose hem before stopping as he realized how close his hand was lingering against the other's crotch.
Flushing lightly, he tried not to think on it too much. "And while we are getting you fitted for some new clothes, perhaps we can also enjoy a walk through the city's marketplace. Since it is the summer, I hear the stalls remain open quite late." He stopped as he heard the other's words, and a smile came on his face. When Huang leaned in and whispered in his ear, a shiver went down his spine. And heat rose along his skin, crawling under his skin and spreading throughout his body. Letting out a barely audible gasp, he flushed deeply at his response to the other's mere voice. When he felt Huang's hand squeeze his own, he returned the gesture.
Slowly freeing his hands from the other's, he took a step away. "I should probably go now Huang. Since, I did not tell anyone I was leaving the house. Not to mention, I am certain someone will come looking for you soon." He gave the legionnaire a gentle smile. "If you can't come, just send me a bird." Pausing, he gave the other one last smile. "Be safe."

Huang snorted at the gesture of Kyung's hand on the frayed hem of his outfit before pushing his hand away and cocking his head. "I don't buy clothes, I am only allowed money for...food." Huang thought of what he hadn't bought with any money and shrugged realizing that he had really no funds to spend on himself. "Any money I have earned is put in the Lee treasury for the whole family, a large chunk goes to my parents and a smaller to my two older brothers for allowance." Huang shrugged again, "This outfit was bought for me awhile back. When I ascended from academy student to fighter in the Legions army." Huang thought of that ceremony when he was presented with the new outfit and sighed, he had never thought to buy more for himself or ask more for himself. During his thoughts, he quickly realized how close Kyung's hands had come to touching his lower region and he moved back instantly, trying not to blush. "Ah..."
"Kyung..." Huang whispered lightly, bringing his body back closer, his hand went to the others back, pressing lightly forward to bring Kyung closer. It was an embrace, slow and sweet as Huang replied to the other boys unspoken question. "The marketplace sounds wonderful with you Kyung, a walk during the summer heat and sunshine." Huang smiled as he leaned his head in, resting his lips on the boys shoulders with a light kiss. When Kyung stepped away, Huang made a small sound of protest before letting his lover's hand go.
"I will make it." Huang shrugged before smiling, "Do you know the way out Kyung?" Huang waited for the boy's reply, "I will send a bird to you then with my reply." Huang smiled as he thought of the messenger birds that everyone was so fond of. "Be safe as well my Love." Huang bowed to Kyung.
