A bright blue light (that's becoming so much more familiar the longer you stay on this island) blinds you for several long moments. When your vision clears, you find yourself in a very large gymnasium, complete with bleachers and various pieces of sports equipment. The doors are sealed shut tightly, as are the windows high overhead. Flush against a wall sits a small basket, containing 20 pendants. Yeah. That's right. Twenty glowing blue pendants. A sign above it states: take only one.The intercom crackles and whines for a moment, and then a male voice of indeterminate age comes on, "Hello, glad you could make it this far into the trials. Your willingness to participate here is greatly appreciated and will not go unrewarded. Firstly, you may refer to me as Dr. H. Secondly, I'd like each of you to take one of the pendants in the basket and put them on." The OOC Rules SO FAR: -Only the first twenty people to put on a pendant may join -For this reason, only post ONCE this round

[b3 Entering from lighthouse inside and up high RP thread]
B-Three wasn't sure what she expected but to be teleported to a Gym was not it.and after a quick glance around she spotted the basket of the pendants...pendants..the object of her desire lately and even without the intercom's encouragement she was more then willing to go over and throw one on.

[Beta Four answering the text message and entering from Lighthouse PRP thread]
"-aths in it?" Before finished then suddenly panicking because "OH MY GOD I'M BLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND!!!!" he wailed, at the bright blue light blinding him for several moments before it wore off. Blinking, Beta Four took some time to adjust to his new surroundings, which he had no ******** clue how he got to in the first place. One minute he was at the Lighthouse with his awesome teammates, then he gets the text, then he responds to the message per Beta Three's order, and then he was here.
B-but where the ******** was here? DDDDD8
Wait, this place, with its bleachers, and sports equipment and "HOLY ******** s**t THIS IS A GYM! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" he wailed, clutching the side of his head as if it was liable to explode. Before was likely to continue his mad flailing until he spotted "Pendants? Oh my ******** s**t, ARE THOSE PENDANTS?!"
The voice over intercom, named Dr. H (what does the H stand for? Happy? Howyadoin'? Horrible? Doolittle? Wait, that's not even an H...), pretty much confirmed that Yes, indeed, these are pendants and that they were supposed to take one and put it on. After Beta 3 got one, Before practically dove for the basket, and put one on as well. Yes, just one. Before isn't a Greedy Gus, he just liked to follow orders. At least, that's what the thinks he likes. He still doesn't remember much of his past.

[ ENTER thread ]
What the hell had just happened? One moment he'd been in the lighthouse, the next he was...where was he?
He reeled around at the sound of the intercom, eyes narrowed, muscles tensed as if expecting something to strike him. It was several moments later that he at last relaxed, well at least relaxed enough for his eyes to fall on the basket full of pendants.
Dismissing the feeling that he was going to regret this later (if he lived that long), Theta four picked up one of the pendants and placed it around his neck. Now, what kind of game were they playing today?

[Beta-6 entering from Lighthouse "Inside and Up High"]
Bix sighed gratefully when he 'beamed' up with his fellow Betas.
He stuck close to Before and Bee and seemed very unsure whether taking a pendant was the right idea.
"Dr. H.. huh.." But hadn't he just said moments before that pendants seemed really important?
Sucking it up, Beta-6 stepped forward and took a pendant. He rolled it over in his fingers and looked at it before slipping it around his neck.
"All this trouble for these little things."

(Gamma Eleven entering from Beach, "One Is a Lonely Number")
He'd been talking with some girls, and hadn't expected what happened next. Landing in a crouch from whenever that text had gone through, he looked around to the other people who'd shown up. Looking around the gym, he noticed....PENDANTS! Rushing over to the basket, he took one. Toying with it, he looked up at the intercom, frowning as "Dr. H" told them to put on a pendant. Well...Okay, that deterred his eagerness. Sliding his on, he looked around at the other people here. Were they all teammates? Well....Didn't that suck for the Gamma.
Toying with the pendant, he sighed in relief. He was saved....for now.

((Eta XII entering from the Beach, "One Is a Lonely Number"))
XII rubbed at her eyes. When her vision cleared, she found herself in a gym with several others. They all seemed to stare at each other for a moment when the intercom suddenly went off, nearly startling her.
Dr. H's voice reverberated throughout the gym, and XII studied her hands. It was the only thing she could think to do to keep her eyes busy while listening to Dr. H's instructions. It helped her to focus better, to keep her mind from wandering. If she just stared off into space again, she might find herself in another missed opportunity, and she wasn't about to have that.
The word "pendants" echoed more loudly than the rest of Dr. H's words as he said it. Or maybe that was only in her own head. XII didn't care, she was getting a pendant.
She waited for the others to finish drawing one from the basket before reaching in and pulling one out for herself. Without much more thought, she placed the pendant around her neck, and waited.
Step One of "Trouble vs. XII", complete.

[[Delta Nine entering thread]]
Delta Nine took a long moment to gather her wits before she took in her surroundings. Recognizing a few of her fellow Beta squad members, she was tempted to herd together with them, but flashes of the battle against the great big flaming horse kept flickering through her mind. Would it ever stop? She knew she couldn't trust anyone in this room.
Delta Nine reached into the basket and retrieved a pendant. This was it? This was the reason people turned on one another and killed each other? Shaking her head, Delta Nine fastened the pendant around her neck and moved to the nearest wall. She leaned against it, crossed her arms over her chest, and waited.

Gamma 12 is entering from the beach
A gym, huh? THat seems nostalgic to Gamma 12, who was sort of missing the signs of home....whatever 'home' seemed to be. None the less, she looked at the other people who had made it there anxiously, stepping forward to the basket and taking one of the pendents, putting it around her neck, before stepping back to observe the rest of the group that was gathering.
Would there be more creepers about? Perhaps, perhaps. It would be an interesting experience.
If not one that would possibly make her dead. However, she still had the chance to just yank her mask off if things got too bad...

[BX entering from the Lighthouse Arrival thread]
The flash of light definitely startled the beta. It was highly unexpected for her to move from a place of darkness and silence into a burst of light and then-
this is a gymnasium. X frowned; this was not a typical scene for a battle of delicious brutality. Glancing around further at her surroundings- there were more betas. The one with the excellent shot- but idiotic mannerism, the one with the overly abundant balls, and the one who seemed to work well with her alliances....aside from that first one.
Pendants.... pendants were not of interest. However, it may be wise to take one and place it around ones neck simply for the fact that the consequence may be worse; X did this.

((Delta One entering from Zeta Tent on The Beach)) Delta One had hit the reply button on her phone, but was not prepared for what happened next. Though she had seen something similar happen to Delta Three and Theta Seven, watchin it was definitely a whole lot different to actually living through and doing it! As she found herself transported to the new location, her stomach lurched. She had time to think Oh god...please don't let me puke inside this mask... before she found herself on steady ground again. The whole thing probably only took a split second, but it was still very disorienting. Then there was the bright blue light, searing into her eyeballs, exasperating her already killer headache. She brought a gloved hand up to shield her eyes, until the light faded, faded, and was eventually gone. Then, letting her arm drop back down to her side, she looked around, eyes narrow and watering, with no way to wipe them off. She was in a gymnasium. How....odd. A quick glance around through pained eyes showed her others in the room with her, and one in particular that she even recognized. Delta Nine. She still felt a little guilty, for storming off from their camp spot earlier. Delta Nine had had the oppurtunity to follow, but chose not to. Delta One had told Delta Three that she had Delta Nines back. Did she? Well, she would now! It didn't take long to notice the basket with the glowing pendants, and the fact that everyone currently in the room already had one around their neck. She quickly strode over to the basket, and fished one out for herself, and like the others, placed it over her head. It didn't make sense. 13 were to survive, other pendants had been found, and here lay a bunch more in a basket? This couldn't be right...but she had wanted a pendant so badly. So badly, she had abandoned Delta Nine in the heat of the moment. She wondered if the other woman would have any trust left. Bottling up her trepidations inside, and shoving them to the back of her mind, Delta One made her way over to Delta Nine. "Well..uh...hi again" she said, her voice for once meek, and somewhat ashamed. "I'm...I'm sorry about earlier" She managed to blurt out. "I told the others, before they left, that I had your back, and I failed at that. I'll try and do better now." She couldn't make any garuntees, of course, but she would do her damndest. Behind her mask, her head still throbbed unpleasantly.

[Theta Three Entering from Lighthouse]
She had responded to the text message with a press of a button and found herself with a sensation of sudden disorientation. Wait...she wasn't at the lighthouse anymore? She was in a gym? Oh...oh no but by test she had thought some kind of multiple choice answer by phone deal! This looked a bit less friendly, she blinked as she spotted pendants and quickly rushed over and then looked around. Oh boy...well no one seemed to be fighting over them so she quickly snatched one up and slipped it on. She had a nasty sensation that she had just painted a target on herself. Then again the old text message had said a pendant guaranteed survival...but it had also said there were less then five and in that basket alone there had to be more then ten.

((Eta VII entering from "Ready to Rumble" on The Beach))
Eta VII closed her eyes against the blinding light that surrounded her, and when she opened them again, she was surprised to find herself in a large gymnasium. She hadn't really felt anything as she "moved" - odd. She looked around, getting her bearings, and noticed both the fact that everyone already there was wearing a pendant, and that a basket of them was sitting out. She made her way over, grabbing one and slipping it on, before approaching the other figures already present. She looked through the group for the green accents that would indicate Delta-squad members, and the dark blue of her own Eta-squad. It didn't take her long to see Delta I, speaking with Delta IX, who apparently was also here. And she saw one person from Eta squad, but couldn't see who from this distance.
She came close enough to the Eta squad member to wave and try to catch his or her attention, gesturing to come over, before walking over to Delta I. "I told, um," gah, she still didn't know his name! "I told your friend what was up, and I grabbed the map. Do you have any idea what's going on, what they're planning for us?" The setup was kind of bothering her, she had the feeling she'd never been good at sports or anything like that.

Gamma Eight is entering from the beach.
Sprinting in after Gamma 12, G8 was suddenly frozen in place. A... a gym? Why in the world were they in a gym? An even better question, why had sending a text brought her here? She took a pendant from the basket (really, only one must be real-- would this be a death-event?) and slipped it around her neck before shuffling over to Gamma 12.
"You ran, just like they did..." Except this time she had managed to follow!

((Eta Eleven is entering.))
Jogging in after the girls, Imani was met by- nothingness. "Hey! Were you at?!" he called, continuing to roam about even though he couldn't see yet. He bumped into Gate just as he was starting to see figures. "Oof! There you is!"
He looked around. "We back in school?" Eventually, his eyes fell upon the pendants. Imani roamed over and gingerly picked one up, observing it. "Somethin' ain't right," he said uncomfortably before cautiously putting the necklace over his helmet.
