[PRP]Random Incounter [Mahina X Niall]

In the valley floor, Mahina and Zig were playing a game of tag. The sun was hiding behind some clouds at the moment, giving the two a break from the intense heat. There was a creek nearby, but they didn't want to put their feet in it yet.

The cat was 'it' and chased the mare around, until she lifted off the ground with her wings. She envied the Winds with their ability to fly high, but she was still happy to know the short feeling. Distracted with her thoughts, the mare was not expecting Zig to jump on her back. "Ooof." Her hoofs hit the grass from the surprise. "Guess it's my turn to..." She watches him zip off, tail in the air mockingly. Laughing, she attempts to stalk the cat.

Niall was trekking through the rolling hills, and he was quite bored, if he was honest with himself. Though he'd never been in this part of the country before, it was all the same - green on bottom, blue on the top, and a horizon that was an uncertain mix of both.

Yeah. He was bored.

Sighing, he made his way to the top of yet another hill, but was surprised to see that the bottom held more than just overlong grass this time - a mare with green wings and a cat of some kind were playing some sort of game in the valley below. He tilted his head as the temporary cloud that covered the sun partially allowed it to shine through, and noticed self-consciously that his shadow was thrown dramatically into the valley and the next hill. Annoyed by the sun's bad timing - he'd been hoping to study them more before they might notice him - Niall sat down abruptly on the hill top, making his shadow disappear.

The sudden appearance, disappearance and reappearance of the sun made the young mare look up at the sky. The sun blinded her for a moment as she looked up the hill. She scanned the area before swatting Zig with her wing tip. "Got you!" Jumping away she couldn't shake the feeling they were being watched.

The shape of the shadow puzzled her as she ran around a tree and stopped. Her ear twitched as the soft sounds of the cat's paws moved towards her tree. Waiting, she strained her neck to one side, watching the cat move the other way. At the last second she used her wings to raise above her feline companion.
