There was a makeshift booth set up along the walkway near the Undead Dorms that day. By makeshift booth it was actually a table with a cloth draped over it. It wasn't long before the winged vampire, Maritess, fluttered out of the undead dorms to carefully lower a large box about as tall as her torso down onto the ground. Inside said box were even more boxes with a skull decorating its lid. She began to lay as many of them out on the table as possible, nervously looking over her shoulder from time to time. When satisfied with the arrangement, she pulled out a hand-painted sign and taped it to the front of the table.Positioning herself behind the table, Maritess waited and hoped someone would be willing to take these boxes off her hands.

Christof was looking battered, exhausted and depressed, but at least he was fully dressed and his hair at least somewhat attempted at combing when he plodding out of the undead dorms on his way... wherever it was he was going. He paused at the sight of the table, brows furrowed as he tried to register what was going on...
Parts? Someone was just... giving away parts?
And then he noticed the Ghoul behind the table. His face flushed, purple tinted memories easing their way back to him and he fidgeted, looking horrified and apologetic as he gingerly approached the stand.
Hopefully she wasn't still sore about.... the incident?

Whatever good spirits Tess might have been in over the prospect of ridding herself of these unwanted things fled at the misshapen figure that appeared. Oh Jack. Oh Jack. Not him. Please not him. Please walk past her. Please, please, please, please, plea-oh candlejack he was walking up to her. She had the table between them. That was good. But all the same, Maritess immediately grabbed for a box and held it with both hands, mild panic clear as day on her face as she slowly inched backwards.
"Christof," she stiffly stated, nervously glancing around for someone. ANYONE she could possibly fly behind and hide. Just in case. Never mind the fact that the patchwork's actions had been cruel-aid fueled, Tess didn't want a repeat of their first up-close-and-too-personal encounter.

Rubbing the back of his head, he inched his way towards her, eyes down anxiously. So... so she was still upset. He couldn't blame her, he had been very rude. Under normal circumstances he NEVER would have... he shook his head, giving an anxious whine to hopefully draw her gaze before timidly making a motion against his chest. He was slowly, slowly picking up this "sign language' thing, but it was difficult with only a few words on his repertoire until he could pick up that book.

Maritess eyed the patchwork boil suspiciously, ever alert for any sudden movements he might make. Sure she had Riley's promise (in writing! If one could call groanspring messages that) that she'd make sure he wouldn't be making any bad-touches with her, but she was still allowed to be wary, wasn't she? Her brows knitted at the gesture, she didn't know sign language (she needed to restudy Morse code for Jack's sake) but the fact that he was gesturing to his chest made her recall the groanspring thread involving bigger breasts was better.
Context, Tess, Context! Surely he wasn't poking fun at her, um, lack of endowments, which she still had time to grow into. Or was he? Her face read nothing but displeasure and self-consciousness, "I have no idea what you're trying to say," she told him while keeping a firm grip on the box.

Arachne still wasn't great at navigating around the campus, and as such she still occasionally..well she didn't get completely lost, just turned around. Her Skitter had slipped away when she was trying to get her bearings, and she'd ended up near the Undead dorm. Which meant if she kept going she'd be at the Demon dorms and so she followed the path, catching sight of the table, the ghoul standing by it and Christof in front.
She wandered over, giving the ghoul a little nod. She wasn't entirely sure of her name, and a brow arched at the boxes.
'Hello. What's inside those?' (( sayurinitta

Holding her tail fairly high off the ground, considering how low and sultry it usually swayed, and moving across campus with no destination in mind, the werelemur stumbled across the make-shift stand by accident...offering it, as well as those surrounding it a side-long glance. Was that...Arachne? And Chris? And--well Natalia didn't know the ghoul behind the counter, but what on earth were they gawking at? Although not many were gathered now, the monster made the hasty assumption that others had at one point been hovering and took it upon herself to get involved. After all, spending several days indoors biting ones nails and throwing things about in a fit of rage did nothing for her social life.
"Handouts?" Natalia questioned as the long fingers of her left hand drummed against the pale, always plush lips of her curious face. Her body pressed against the edge of the table without disturbing anything placed on it, the free gloved hand set comfortably on her jutted hip. The monster also offered a smile in her approach to each that stood around her, expecting one back but certainly not in the mood to stir up any trouble if given otherwise.
It was...peculiar to find a student handing out boxes; boxes of--unknown objects, no less, just outside the undead dormitories...although, Natalia wasn't familiar with undead customs, especially those of the raven-haired ghoul, who looked to be in charge, so perhaps these 'handouts' were more gifts than anything else?
Again her fingers tapped a rhythm on the curvature of her mouth, only afterwards falling slowly to brush against one of the brown 'packages'...since surely they were holding SOMETHING. Which would make them packages, right? Something handheld? Compact? A mirror? That would be nice.
Tossing blue hair away from her face with a casual flick of her head, Natalia rested her eyes on the ghoul without legs, wrapping both of her hands around the box she touched to lift it eye level. "Hmm, well the outside looks pretty enough. Free to the willing aye? Anything free is alright with me." Her head bobbed once in nod, lashes fluttering as her attention addressed the box more closely, thumbs eager to push the lid open...but again she wondered, why on earth would this ghoul want to give away free boxes?
So her lips parted again, case tucked under her arm. "I'm not going to open this and find a reanimated kitten or something, will I? Although a chuckle slipped from her sweetened throat, the monster was mostly very, very serious.
((Take your time on a response! If anything, I'll have Natalia stalk off with her box in hand, just one btw, and when they meet again somedaaaay she will bring it up to Tess. "HEY WRY YOU IGNORE ME THAT ONE TIME?!" Shia))

Other people had started to gather... the spider demoness he had met briefly before and the rather fluffy monster ghoul he had only met in passing. He swallowed thickly, flushing and stopping his feeble hand motions. Well... well he had already started his attempt at an apology, might as well continue.
Brows knit and movements stiff, he cleared his throat in another attempt to get the legless undead ghoul's attention before bowing deep in an apologetic, but sincere movement.
Hopefully she wouldn't need to explain to the other ghouls exactly WHY he was apologizing.

At the arrival of two new faces, Maritess felt relief. "W-well, my parents sent me an excess of these boxes in my Scare Package. They seem able to house an assortment of things," she explained, opening one to demonstrate. And suddenly froze when a hand popped out to wave at all four students. A smile was frozen on Tess' face as crimson eyes shot to Natalia then Arachne and even Christof, "No reanimated kittens in here unless you put one in yourself," she laughed lamely and quickly shut the lid.
But failing as the hand, a very distinctly male hand at that, popped the lid back open to skitter out as if offering a handshake. "I-I did write handouts, didn't I? Maybe I should have placed a space between the words... B-but I assure you, they're very handy to have around."
Luckily for Christof, even without the hand distraction, she wasn't going to cause a scene. Not unless he tried anything suspect first.

Arachne looked from Tess to Natalia. She remembered the monster ghoul from the swim club meet, and despite her new feelings towards monsters still couldn't bring herself to be civil to the ghoul and so just went for saying nothing. She did smile at Christof though, who looked slighty, edgy?
At the hand that waved she stepped back, and then laughed. 'Handy indeed. May I take two?' she asked, with a little cant of her head. She imagined that her Skitter might find them amusing to 'run' around with.

At the sudden sight of the severed Parts sprung to life, Christof gaped in amazement. It... moved? How... how amazing! Were they sentient? What sort of mad science created such a strange novelty? Flinching at the movement from the box, he gave it a ginger poke with his clawed left hand. Glancing up from the fidgeting appendage to it's... distributor... the hunchback pointed timidly at a box before patting his chest. He knew they were on... shaky terms at best, but... he had to have one for his collection! He wasn't sure he'd ever want to try to ATTACH it, but it was fascinating all the same. Maybe it could help slap Scruff away from his Parts Piles? (( ho ho! twooooplz? mustgetalts |B <3))

Maritess was relieved that her fellow students had a positive reaction to the appendages. Honestly, she wasn't sure what to expect, and had been terrified an actual head would have appeared within the box. Thankfully, like Esme, these boxes seemed to only contain hands. Whatever the matronly limb needed with so many of these boxes, Tess had no intentions of ever finding out.
Besides, they were taking up too much space in her room! "Of course you can! Here you go," she happily smiled at Arachne, handing over two boxes to the demoness.
Crimson eyes darted towards Christof as the patchwork poked at some of the boxes. Part of her didn't want to give him one, after what he'd done to her, it was a wonder she hadn't sobbed about it to her parents. They would probably pull her out of the Academy or demand Christof's parents that he marry her.
ON SECOND THOUGHT, best keep that as their dirty little secret.
"Just so you know I already have legs of my own," she stated, narrowing her eyes at the boil, "But I suppose everyone can use an extra hand or two. Just, just maybe some distance for a bit longer?" She nudged two boxes towards him in what may well be the closest thing to extending an olive branch as she was capable.
Turning to Natalia, Maritess asked with a smile, "How about you? Still want one?"
((ooc: Shia, how many you want? XD))
