Energy System and Learning Skills

The Energy and Learning Systems are quite simple to understand. It's nothing more than a small bit of adding and subtracting and that is all.

The Energy System is built to mimic the functions of real life where virtually doing anything and everything requires some type of energy until you drain yourself and become exhausted. The Learning System is created to force a more literate style upon the RPer by giving him "large" amounts to type.

The Energy System


This is your energy supply. You use energy when you use skills. Every skill has a cost. Your Energy varies depending on different things such as class, etc. You just simply add or subtract bonuses.

Things such as basic running, jumping, and/or fighting(basic punches and kicks nothing fancy) takes up five energy points per post.
i.e. Alexander ran up to the policeman, which was tracking him. Alexander then kick the man within his private parts and then ran off.
This would only take five energy points.

Energy Pool per Rank
Trainee - Energy pool: 300
Novice - Energy pool: 500
Adept - Energy pool: 900
Pro - Energy pool: 1300
Expert - Energy pool: 1700
Master - Energy pool: 2100

Energy Drain per Technique
D - Energy Drain: 10
C - Energy Drain:25
B - Energy Drain:50
A - Energy Drain:75
S - Energy Drain:100
SS - Energy Drain:250

Learning System

Learning skills is quite simple so I don't have to explain it too much. When trying to learn a skill you will have to post describing how you are learning it. This is usually done by posting practicing the technique over and over until you get it correct but that is not always the case.

They take longer to learn as the rank increases. It may shorten if you have bonuses such as your class.

D - 150 Words
C - 200 Words
B - 300 Words
A - 350 Words
S - 400 Words
SS - 500 Words
This system is if you are learning a technique equivalent to your rank. It takes 50 more words if you are learning a skill above your rank example: If you are a Trainee learning a C rank skill it will take 250 words. It's reversed if you are a higher rank trying to learn a low rank skill. If you are an Adept trying to learn an D ranked skill it takes 100 less words.

Each Rank can learn techniques up to one ranks ahead of them and can learn up to one technique two ranks ahead of them.

Here are the bonuses and disadvantages to training and self-training:
Adepts, and below, who seek to teach themselves without any guidance begin to struggle somewhat. An additional 25 words is added to the amount of words needed to learn the technique.

Anyone training within a designated training area has 25 words deducted from the amount of words needed to learn the technique.
