Ranking System
The ranking system is pretty basic.
You start of as a Trainee. Trainees are also known as D-Class Runners. They cannot learn on their own and need the guidance of someone of higher rank in order to learn new skills. This is why they start within the Academy. In order to graduate they must learn the basic skills.
At Novice they are known as C-Class Runners. They are capable of learning techniques up to their own rank on their own accord but for any higher they must have a higher-up train them.
Once it is time they may take the test to become an Adept, B-Class Runner. Depending on the leader of their current faction the test is different. Adepts can teach themselves but have some difficulty in doing so when not watched over.
Professionals, A-Class Runners, are quite similar to Adepts. Although this rank is more dependent upon itself. They are capable of training themselves with ease and have no problem learning by themselves.
Experts, or S-Class Runners, are the elites of their current affiliation.
Masters, or SS-Class Runners, are normally the soul leaders of their affiliations. Runners of this rank are normally rare to come by and posses great skill.
