There were some reservations in poke's mind as she walked down the street, glancing around every so often and being careful not to meet anyones gaze. She hadn't realized what kind of place this was until the inn had been booked, and now that they were here she didn't want to stay for very long. Sure, she didn't give a dam about what the general public thought about herself or her species, but when the general public outnumbered her greatly and they were not a fan of animal tribes, it was generally not a good idea to stand your ground.
It was rare occurrence, but there were people who greatly despised the fin tribe, blaming them for the storms which could topple ships and drown the people aboard them. And sadly, it seemed this town was one of those places. And it seemed they had heard rumors of many of the other species too, making things just that more dangerous.
So today, she had decided on some extra 'firepower', and asked blade to accompany her while she went to find something to eat, and perhaps some extra supplies she could use. She hoped that, with someone else tagging along, people would be more disinclined to do something about it.

The tension Blade felt in town was not a very welcome feeling, even if he felt that the bulk of the stares weren't directed at him. Even so, he didn't really appreciate the dirty looks towards him or his friends. He just did what he could to ignore them all and walked alongside Poke as they went to hunt down some grub. The thief was certain that she could handle herself pretty well, but there was still safety in numbers to some extent.
"See anything you want to eat?" he asked her while looking around at the various restaurants and such that lined the streets.

"hmm..." Poke thought out loud as she tried to focus on the actual restaurants and not anything else. She then spied a place that seemed to hold many varieties of food. "How about over there?" she indicated to the place, then headed towards it. "You gonna get anything for yourself?"
Upon entering said restaurant, she paused at the entrance. Already some people had turned to look at who entered, and while some people turned back to their food, others continued to stare. Feeling self conscious, she entered the place and headed towards the counter, glancing behidn to make sure blade was alright.

"Yeah I probably will," said Blade with a nod as he followed Poke over into the restaurant. He still had a fair amount of coin left from his last run so there weren't any issues in terms of money. If there was, he could always swipe something from an unlucky patron of the place and that problem would be solved in an instant.
"Well this place looks friendly," he commented while looking around to see more people staring at them. Hopefully these stares would stay as that and no one would try to pester them.

"oh yeah..really friendly, I feel right at home here..." Poke mumbled under her breath as she approached the counter. The man behind it just glared at her, and she stared right back at home. "Excuse me, but my friend and I would like something to eat. can we get...umm -"
"We don't' have anything for the likes of you" The man almost growled at her. "We don't sell seafood"
"I don't want seafood, I just want a burger"
"Then it's twice the price"
"Twice the- TWICE THE PRICE?!" Poke shouted, then raised her hands as the guy went to grab a knife. "Wait- no I'm not looking for trouble...Fine, fine, I'm going I'm going"
As if guessing what she was about to do, the man just grunted. "It'll be the same anywhere else, so don't even bother"
"...I think I want to smash something.." poke mumbled to blade, flexing her hands
