History: Her Father died when she was only three, and her Mother didn't want anything to do with her when she discovered her mutant powers at the age of seven, shortly after that Ami went on the run for for fear of being procuted by Antimutant Groups, Other Mutant who would want to use here for their own purposes. By the time she was 13 some of the X Men discovered her when she was near death and brought her to the institue, where she has been ever since training to be an X Men and learning as a student at the school. Though she often has trouble trusting others, she will still help out as part of the team.
