XXXXXXXX After the chaos that happened on Nirvani, Conor was more than eager to leave back to how they were before all of that drama. The only reason he stayed as long as he had was to allow Keith some time to recover. During his time, he stuck mostly to himself as he had the winter he found Keith in his last condition, barely speaking to anyone outside of an awkward meeting or two with Blaire Vatonage. At one meeting, the engagement that he had carelessly lead them both into was called off. There were a few reasoning behind this, only one of which that he had actually admitted to Keith. He wasn't sure himself how Blaire took it once that was said and done as, around that time, Keith was cleared to leave therapy. It didn't take Conor much time at all for him to borrow (?) some money from Gladice and get them the hell out of town.
XXXXXXXX Conor attempted some part time jobs while Keith went to a culinary arts school in New York to try and help their situation without the aid of loans from Gladice, but he ended up fired out of every job he ever tried. What could he say? His people skills were next to none and, if he didn't piss off some customer, he ended up getting his boss angry enough at him to kick him off the team. So, in the end, he had to bite the bullet and allow the old lady to keep their apartment theirs. It was odd, perhaps, that he would deny that kind of free money, but he would respond that Gladice was weird and borrowing money ended up causing them a bunch of grief in the end before, although Judith wasn't so much the reason why he had an issue with Gladice. Ah, well, may be touched upon at another time, yes? Moving on, Conor eventually decided that he didn't like having to do their dirty dishes himself from Keith's home practice, jobless or not!
XXXXXXXX So, he asked around at the alley behind the gas station – his favorite hang out, surprise, surprise! – and found out about some nifty things called chores and parental rights. Amazing what ideas you could get from a back alley bum, right? He proposed to Keith that day that they should adopt some free maids, which the other took to as nicely as Conor had when he first was given the idea. They obtained three children, Conor and Keith both claiming one for their own, while the third one was left to be named by the children, who, oh so aptly, called the androgynous child 'Eet'. Conor's kid, a little blond boy who Conor could only see as his ticket to molding his life-sized John Wayne figurine, was promptly told to forget whatever the hell he was called before then as 'John' was going to be his new title. Conor's new fun while Keith was at class was brainwashing John with every cowboy movie, book (-Gasp- Conor owned a book!), and merchandise he ever could get his hands on. Just because he had an issue with taking Gladice's charity didn't mean he didn't use it for his own benefit~ Plus, he had the ability to ask for extra to care for the kids or whatever, he wasn't sure what Keith had told Gladice, but he just knew he had enough to get ConorJohn everything he needed.
XXXXXXXX Conor was pretty happy with this style of life – even happier that Keith slowly began to speak again, especially when his own personal studies to learn sign language proved to not help their communication.. at all because of a mistake on his part that he refuses to admit to. One day, though, he obtained a letter, which, by some weird request that Thomas Valentine had made before his death, told him he was the new owner of the old Inn that he once worked for. The idea that all of his mishaps with occupations were all because he didn't make the rules enticed him enough to indirectly plead that they go back, especially now that Keith was done with school. So, packing their things, Conor and Keith plus three made their way back to Nirvani.╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXX Well, his adoption wasn't so bad – at least he wasn't with some ***** or something, right? Conor was a decent father to him (or at least he would like to believe so) and he never went hungry! ..For long.. Ah, well, John, or Topi as he once was known, finds his life to be better than what it could be, which is the most optimistic way one can view being raised by a pair like Conor and Keith. He's friendly with his siblings, Quentin and Eet, and is growing to like cowboys just as much as Conor does! Hey, he even has started to get that funny 'John' walk down from Conor~!╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXWith Kuan-yin & Suzy gone and Rachel's daily spiking of the woman's coffee continuance, Romane was left somewhat alright, albeit a little on the depressed side. There wasn't much work to keep her busy, so when all the cases were closed, she took to trying to find a replacement for her roommate. At first, she spent the night at Neil's home, as the man was a friend of hers, but.. Needless to say, she left before the night had even finished and never spoke of it again. She spent a week or two with restless nights with the idea she would get used to it, but, alas, she ended up caving in after waking up at Rachel's home at the end of a few sleepless work days at the station. She quickly worked to convincing the woman into spending the night over at her home instead, which the woman easily complied – however, one night turned into two.. then four.. five.. Soon enough, Rachel and Sophia had been roped into spending the whole year over at Romane's home! Korth and Mauser didn't seem to mind the new playmate and Romane seemed more than happy to have another inside her home, especially with how.. 'close' Rachel and her new partner, Jonathon Parker were becoming. It wasn't like they were dating or anything, but the two being friendly was enough to have her irritated, but more of that anger was taken out on Parker in a passive aggressive sense. Forcing him to do extra paperwork, criticizing just about every bit of work he turned in, passing him onto picking up the station's coffee and breakfast when they were particularly overworked, and so on.
XXXXXXXXIf he didn't pick up on it before the skip, he certainly would have over the course of those two years – especially when Rachel had decided to take a trip to the city for a time, leaving Romane alone and twice as stressed as usual. Her usual supply of medication left along with the blond, to make matters worse, and several nameless families had been run out of town by the woman's prying as a result. Thankfully, the blond returned soon enough to help patch over the event, while Romane slowly went back to her usual self with the woman's presence. The only thing that remained would have been the barbed, electric fence she erected around her cabin in the woods and, of course, a dozen or so more guns hidden around the home itself, that she still maintains even with her medicated again. Romane's good mood didn't last for long, however, as, shortly after Rachel's return, news of the sheriff's pregnancy came up and, lo and behold, the father was none other than Romane's distasteful partner. ..Needless to say, Romane dislike of the man quickly turned into a hate as she could hardly prevent glaring daggers at him every time they met eyes. At least Rachel managed to sooth her some by allowing her to take part in Julian's life – hey, the redhead even helped in naming the boy! Something she was sure Jonathon was left out on, much to her pleasure.
XXXXXXXXOutside of that mess, Romane did little else.. Ah, she did arrive one day at Eleanor's home to see her niece, actually starting to take an interest in Rune's life what with Ellie's elopement separating them so suddenly. Her regret of not getting involved in someone who shared her blood came back up when the little girl suddenly left and after a conversation with the woman, she settled the blame onto Eleanor's husband for the sudden leave. Yet another male that she grew to dislike, even causing a little.. interrogation sometime during Rachel's leave. She never harmed him, but she did spend a good few hours with a gun to his head questioning the living daylights out of him. In the end, she deemed him 'safe', but that doesn't make her like him any better. Along with that, Romane has had a sudden interest in Vladimir Tepes, although, outside of the new year's night, she hasn't taken the initiative to approach him. Simply watching him whenever the opportunity arose – creepy? Maybe a little.XXXXXXXX╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXLittle Catrina, of course, will go through the wonders if puberty during the time skip~ (Glad we get to skip over that.) ..Of course, it doesn't seem like it affected her behavior one bit. She continued to live just as bouncy and delusional as ever, staying inside Mei Hwa Li's apartment as the woods have much, much bigger cats than her – plus, she's happy being a mother to the kitten! When her brother left in search of her, Catrina happily took over the detective agency – after all, she had the experience of working under Robert all those years and it wasn't like she really cared about schoolwork at all! So, of course, she continues to flunk just about every subject and really only attends school every so often as part of a case. Although, most of the cases she works now are personal, since not too many people seem to want investigations these days~ Oh, well! She still manages to make decent money while mooching off of Mei, but that's probably more because she's been hunting everything she eats.. It's a wonder she hasn't needed her stomach pumped just yet..
XXXXXXXXSpeaking of hunting, an easy friendship was formed between Lotte von der Bach and Catrina after a random run-in. What relevance did this have? Oh, well, of course, without Lotte and her inventive spirit, Catrina would have never had her new claws! It was about time she had some kind of advancement, especially since a growing girl needed bigger prey to keep her healthy! Plus, they were much easier to keep clean than her old pair of paws. Along with the new equipment, the pair came up with a better, more form-fitting suit, although.. it did come out a little on the revealing side, no? Oh, well, it wasn't like Catrina had much worries about that! Seriously, who would even think of touching the crazy furball? ..Ahem, anyway, she continued to investigate the apparent dog running the clinic with Mei as her sidekick! Catrina Together (because it sounds so much better that way), they made a list of potential allies and enemies, but no action has been taken on either side outside of the invasion incident of Year 4. In which, Catrina and company (Mei) infiltrated the Clinic to 'rescue' a hostage cat – Newt. Since, the animal has stayed safe and sound in a secret protective base (The detective agency)!
XXXXXXXXIn other news, Catrina still drinks with Dimitri, one of the suspected allies in her fight against the ultimate canine evil! ..She has yet to actually speak with Neil or Robert, though, which is a considerable feat since she goes in to work in the house's basement every day..XXXXXXXX╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXGaston Sonata spent the last two years enjoying his royal life~! Of course, what else could anyone expect of the man? After a few weeks of convincing Lulu and his dearest son, Michael, to move in with him, the woman consented to live in the room farthest from Gaston's – which wasn't so much of an issue as Gaston was horrible at sharing his things and, more importantly, his room! Although the two never really slept together, after one fateful picnic at the mountain top, Lulu came out with the news that she was pregnant! With twins! Needless to say, Gaston was excited as can be with the notion that Lulu had sneaked into his room at night with a turkey baster to secretly impregnate himself out of love and faithful duty to her husband! When the man, who.. appeared to be the only one interested at all in the pregnancy, found out that it was twin girls, his attentions to Angelina, his adopted daughter, suddenly dropped to next to nothing. Why should he bother with some stray child he picked up and polished when he had a real son and a pair of girls with his actual blood, after all? Oh, sure, he did take care of Angelina, but any visits and presents he may have attributed to the child went straight to the soon-to-exist twin girls! It may have been for the better, actually, for the girl/boy's sanity..
XXXXXXXXThat aside, he continued to have Peter Tamaki and Wilhelm LeBlanc kidnapped to be weekend playmates with the growing Michael, while Rune LeBlanc and Lyra Rameri were coerced along to be weekend playmates with Angelina and the two new girls, Eclair and Lilia. Considering a good portion of them are babies, this really just means they were set it the playroom with a nanny while Angelina played with whatever child was awake. A little tiff with Jessebelle had her moving off to do her own thing, some Lulu fuss that Gaston always placated with more clothes, jewelry, and exotic pets (that always seem to disappear..), and that basically wraps up Gaston's last two years. Reinbach continues to live in the mansion and Walter still works as their head butler.. Ah, but who cares about that? We all know what you're really here for!
XXXXXXXXFLORENCE. During the time-skip, Gaston didn't still his love of exotic animals anymore than one can still the stars and moons or.. whatever that's intended to mean. Basically, he still got a new pet every month and here's the lovely list of them all. It all started in Spring of Year 3, with Florence the Tenth, the Quito rocket frog, who was killed by a smart servant moments after it's arrival. Was he poisonous? Who knew? It just looked dangerous and.. Yes, there was only so much they were willing to morally allow onto the island. Florence the Eleventh was a slender-billed babbler who ended up released by the end of Summer of Year 3. Fall brought in a Patagonian skate, Florence the Twelfth, which was expectantly released to the sea when Gaston bored of watching it. Florence the Thirteenth came in as a somewhat rare species by the name of broom hare, then Florence the Fourteenth rang in the new year of Year 4 as a type of threatened jerboa, afterward, Florence the Fifteenth, an upland horseshoe bat took over the summer nights in the mansion before being released to the wild, and then Florence the Sixteenth, a Russian desman, could be found in the river during the fall. Last of the Florence's, the seventeenth of the lot, was an Indian rhinoceros, that can probably still be found in the field somewhere if the winter didn't kill him..

XXXXXXXX What can be said for little Lilia Sonata? She was the first baby out of Lulu's womb between the twins – because she had better be number one from the start. Lilia seems to be a sharp little kid, but her own haughtiness stunts most academic intelligence she could gather. Which, at her age, mostly means she's not shoving the triangle block down the square hole because she's dumb, but because, damn it, she knows she had to have been right the first bloody time! She's a terror to play with as she has to have every toy the other kids have, which makes her playmates have to really work for their pay as they tend to end up just watching her do things instead of actually enjoying the toys. The nannies loathe her for the tantrums she throws and any kid that has to room with her probably hates her as well as she tends to just cry because she likes the sound of her own voice. The only time she doesn't seem fussy is when someone's playing with her hair or during her bubble baths, but that's only because she likes looking her best! What can one expect from one of the true blue-blooded daughters of Gaston Sonata?╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXAh, what has old Benedek been up to? Well, for starters, what hasn't he been up to? Benedek was somewhere up in the glorious state of Maine, lost as can be in some poor man's backyard as he spent his time living in the doghouse of the 'mysteriously missing' canine, scaring the wits out of the children that lived inside the home. The housewife that lived there was too frightened to do anything – even call the cops! Not that she could as Benedek had shut the power off of the house before he was even noticed, then proceeded to somehow hide every phone in the home. ..It really was a wonder how something like him could possibly do that without notice, but, oh, well, the man had his ways. The husband eventually came home, though, and promptly threw Benedek out of the home, before going to check on his family. Though the cops were called shortly after they found out where Benedek had hidden the phones, the man was long gone and since no damages were actually done, it was dubbed a weird prank and left to rest.
XXXXXXXXBenedek wasn't entirely off the hook, though, as he was found passed out in yet another man's backyard. He was tossed in a cell, forcing Benedetta to have to be the one to pick him up. They showed up at a courthouse later for the drugs he was so obviously on – even inside the court room! I don't think I need to tell you just what happened then. But, I will anyway. Benedek was forced into rehab or prison, depending on which he preferred. Although he would have loved being inside a nice cell for a few years, Benedetta talked him into just going to rehab for the mandatory seasons the court ordered. Surprisingly, he came out of the center a changed Benedek! He didn't even look at a drug for a good year, which gave him the capability of receiving a call from Benedictus that the man was planning on moving entirely to Nirvani. He took the offer to join him and happily went off to live completely in Sonata Town for Year 4. ..Unfortunately, Benedek came upon an old stash of 'candy' he had and couldn't help trying just a nibble~
XXXXXXXXA week later, he was back to licking trees and bugging the hell out of Hayden – this time, all year round too! He occasionally managed to force some of his drugs down the other's throat so they could play together whenever Benedek felt lonely. There just wasn't enough drug addicts in Nirvani anymore, really, so Hayden was his last option. Outside of screwing around with Hayden, Benedek did little of any real importance. He only works at cleaning up the occasional body along with Emery and sleeping in the more unstable parts of the home. He even broke through a floor once, which resulted in him having to spend a few unwilling nights at the Clinic. Mao easily let him off early, though, with the fact that he just didn't care enough to keep the man tied to a bed.

XXXXXXXXBenedetta, the female of the Traiylor quadruplets, went on a journey of true love after she left Nirvani that winter! She traveled.. a lot with money that no one is quite sure on the origins they came from, but it wasn't like anyone was complaining. ..Well, except for Benedikt who hounded her the moment she got back to Nirvani since none of the cash was in her bank account! The nerve of some siblings! Anyway, she traveled through France, Italy, Canada, stayed a short while in Mexico, and even had some fun in Germany – although, she couldn't possibly speak any of those languages. She only managed to get by with phrasebooks and tour guides, but she still managed to find a German man that had her involved for a decent amount of time, honestly. According to her claims, he seemed as though he was thinking of proposing after just a few seasons! Of course, she ended up having to leave before any of those plans could be made as Benedek had gotten into some trouble in the States. He said goodbye and she left off to a plane to go to her home country.
XXXXXXXXThere, she found Benedek in a cell and happily bailed him out, even going so far as to accompany him to the courthouse when the date came up. She quickly decided that she didn't want to have the cops have her brother for too long, so she forced him to spend a few seasons in a rehabilitation center. No one believed what a druggie had to say, anyway, so it wasn't like she believed anyone there would take Benedek seriously. She spent some time enjoying the sights, staying nearby the center so she could visit Benedek whenever she had the opportunity. Her eyes started to wander, however, as she shortly fell in love with a police officer there. They didn't last long, however, as a season later, she picked Benedek up from the center and left with him to Nirvani. Benedek was starting to look healthier upon his arrival, which pleased the girl.. somewhat. A few of the things he said, though, had her missing the old Benedek dearly and, so, she carelessly left a bag of his old drugs under his bed. From then on, she took up as Emery's primary caretaker as she was the only girl that could understand Emery's more feminine needs.
XXXXXXXXOther than that lovely summary, she started to spend some time with Hayden after following Benedek to the man's house one day. The two started to chat, much to Benedek's disapproval, and began to hit it off. They never went beyond friendship, though, probably because of Benedek always interrupting whenever Benedetta attempted to lead them to anything, but she does still have lunch with him on occasions when Emery doesn't need her watch or care.

XXXXXXXXBenedictus.. Ah, Benedictus. The man hasn't done much out of the expected for him – he left to the States, went to a few conventions, protested peacefully at the feet of some laboratories, and then helped a few more paranoid families extract the ghosts from their homes. All in all, he had an enjoyable first year, but something was always a little amiss with the man as he went to his usual routine of being a 'living off the land' nuisance – people tended to call the cops on him whenever he went on a stroll in the nude! It was absolutely horrible how he couldn't enjoy nature to it's fullest when the weather was nice just because some people didn't know how to appreciate the human body as the work of art it was! ..Not that Benedictus could, really, considering he had never seen a human body, but he had heard from his friends that he was right on when it came to how beautiful it was. Heck, if he were a little more mean when it came to his 'disability', he would have pointed out how rude it was that some people wouldn't appreciate the sight that he couldn't appreciate!
XXXXXXXXBut, instead, the man opted for a more peaceful approach, which was moving back to the island, permanently. Oh, sure, he would miss the quiet stake outs and the friends he met up with, but he was still happier in the quiet wilderness that Nirvani seemed to magically keep despite the modernization in the lands only a boat ride away~ Besides, he rather liked his work as a gravekeeper, which meant the man was sure to stay with the only job he would ever honestly enjoy! He had called all his siblings when he moved over to inform them they can either join him and become one happy family again or never see the island ever again, either way he would be happy to know that they made the choice to better themselves~! Ah, but, the man didn't have to worry about that as Benedetta was more than happy to come back, as well as a more pleasant sounding Benedek. ..As for Benedikt.. Oh, well, Benedictus had just never gotten in contact with him – he tried for hours a day, but no one ever picked up! Strange, but he didn't linger on it as his siblings came back over.
XXXXXXXXFrom then on in Year 4, Benedictus took up the fulltime work of tending to the graves. He spoke with any of the mourners there a few times, but he never seemed to make very good friends with any of them. Oh, but he didn't mind! He had more than enough friends with the trees and ghosts that hanged around the Island! Plus, he had more than enough siblings to keep him happy. Not to mention Jacob Waldroup, who he feels as though he befriended with their occasional talks.╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXX The first season of Year 3, of course, had Benedikt sticking around Nirvani! Of course.. He didn't do much outside of screw with Kevin and occasionally check on Emery to make sure she was still breathing. It wasn't so much that he was afraid of Hansel – he knew he could talk his way out of getting harmed by the man – but, he was just too busy being lazy~ He had enough money to keep him happy for the week and, besides, who wouldn't enjoy basically free food, board, and sex for one fourth of the year? It would be ludicrous of him to leave it! So, he spent the majority of that Spring lounging around Kevin's apartment and otherwise relaxing with a few folds of cash to cuddle with~ ...However odd that may sound, you should be happy I wasn't elaborating with the other things he may have been doing with that cash. Yeah. Anyway, as usual, he left before Summer had started, going off to England to do his regular scams with the folks down there.
XXXXXXXXHe returned to Nirvani in the spring and, this time, he had an actual reason to hardly leave outside of laziness! Benedictus and the rest of his siblings had decided to permanently stay in Nirvani from what he heard, which meant he had the risk of actually running into one of them when he left the house! Emery was alright, but the others? Yeah, the last thing Benedikt wanted was a family reunion again, not after the last one, so, no matter how often his phone rang, he refused to pick up, even if it was just Benedictus. It wasn't like he was bored, though, as he was still enjoying the easy life of mooching off of Kevin. Hey, it was the least the guy could do after trying to separate him from his cut! Seriously, that little event taught Benedikt to be even more protective of his money, even around a good shag like Kevin – which meant that none of it could be spent on anyone outside of himself! Well, maybe once or twice – like a small gift here and there for the lawyer so he couldn't say he never gave him anything, but a ninety-nine cent cup of coffee wasn't very much in the long run, was it?
XXXXXXXXRegardless, Benedikt had went off to England again as was his routine – what wasn't his routine, however, was coming to his old lot in the country to find one of his best customers piping mad and stalking the home with a group of the local police beside him. Lucky for Benedikt, he managed to get off the hook by tossing an old 'friend' in to take the blame instead. ..Not so lucky for Benedikt was when said old friend was bailed out by an even bigger, more violent gang in the area. How was Ben supposed to know his friends connections? At least he figured out his mistake before anyone could touch him as he hopped onto the next boat out to Nirvani the moment he got the news and went straight back to Nirvani and, soon, Kevin's doorstep once again.╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXX Xochiquetzal Celeste Judith Rosalyn Isobel Min-Ya Nuo-Mu Teddy Newt Von Der Bach Xiqui, or better known as 'The Pretzel', as Zhi had dubbed her since her name was too much for her to remember, is the science-child of Freja von der Bach and Mao Xiqui. She was born at the exact time of the Goddess Festival of Year 4, which makes her just a little baby right now. ..A weird baby, if her hair and eye color are anything to go by. Neither Mao nor Freja know exactly why she looks like she does, but it probably has something to do with the chemicals and rituals Freja had undergone during her pregnancy for.. well, neither have actually decided on what the rituals and fluids consumed were for, but, either way, they were meant to have some sort of benefit. Anyway, the infant is passed between homes, Mao taking her during the Summer and Winter, while Freja has her at Spring and Fall. She's a pretty quiet infant. ..Actually, a little too quiet of a baby. Her favorite pastime seems to be staring at air and smiling randomly, while her second would have to be chewing on rat tails and chicken feet.╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXJacob spent the year being.. well, depressed. Yeah, nothing new there. He was eventually forced home by a combination of Theresa and his parents. There, he ended up having to face his girlfriend after she broke into his room and asked him what the hell was up with him. After a looong talk that involved a strangely weepy Jacob and an uncomfortable Caprice, he came out with how he was 'gay', or at least was pretty sure he was. The girl, quite understandably, was more than a little angry as she stormed off, leaving Jacob to go back to being a crybaby in his bedroom. His parents were just about to hand in the towel and name Theresa as probably their last chance at any decent children or passing on of the Waldroup line, when Jacob had finally came out of his room with a new announcement. He decided, officially, that he couldn't properly have sex with a woman being gay as he was – Caprice obviously made it clear that no chick would accept his homosexuality and still screw him – while he was never going to be happy with a guy because, well, they were just gross.
XXXXXXXXAnd, so, he decided he may as well join the priesthood. His parents were thrilled and, heck, even Caprice seemed more than happy with his decision. It was settled and the man went off to start going through the regular trials of any wannabe priests. ..Unfortunately, partway through the training, Jacob had a little run in with a pretty.. persistent man. Of course, the man really just wanted to be friends with Jacob, but Jacob overreacted severely and dropped out to run off to Nirvani in hopes to avoid his new gay stalker. The church didn't take kindly to his running off and cut all ties to him, ruining any chances he had at getting into a local church to please his parents. Depressed yet again, he went to stay with Theresa and mope with his big sister for a season or two, much to the woman's irritation. Jacob was at least happy to know Kade wasn't at the house during that time, so he was free to be depressed in the room of Theresa's new house.
XXXXXXXXMidway through Year 4, Jacob had a peculiar dream involving the Goddess and her fairy-folk. Whether this was the result of too many candy bars and late night cartoons or not was to be decided, but, either way, he got up the nerve to go talk to Gladice about it. Why the old woman? ..Well, it wasn't like there was anyone else to talk about it! Theresa had told him once that she was a native of the island and, of course, that had to mean she knew more about the Goddess and all that. Plus, the off chance of seeing Yoakim always cheered him up some. There, he was told that being visited by the Goddess in sleep was some odd custom of determining the new priest of the island. Happy that he could make up for failing his first attempt at priesthood, he eagerly took up the job and went to live in the old church. The last few seasons were spent studying in the locked back room about the Goddess, with only a few run-ins with the regulars at the church.╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXX Ah, as everyone will remember, Kade was a little down in the dumps for most of Year 2. Sure, he wasn't sobbing his eyes out every night or being a basic bummer all the time, but even the little things were starting to bug Theresa after a bit due to her own trouble and the affect Junior had every time Kade cursed out Yoakim's name, so. The woman did something about it. She forced Kade off to their hometown with some of her savings and informed him he would get therapy or else she wasn't going to speak to him again. ..Kade being still Kade took the threat seriously and hurriedly went off to find the first therapist he could afford for a season or so. One season turned into a year and then some easily enough as he got absorbed in it, surprised that he honestly was starting to feel better after talking it out! During his stay there, he happened upon Blaire Vatonage who just so happened to be going to the same therapy office he was in. Unexpectedly and probably as a result of the therapy, he decided to be nicer to the girl and, wouldn't you know it, the two actually started to hang out some! It wasn't like he completely forgave Ellie and he definitely still didn't like Yoakim, but he did learn that he was going to have to deal with it for Junior's sake.
XXXXXXXXNot that the break up was really what screwed with Kade's stability, but it was one of the issues that prevented him from being friendly with someone like Blaire and the friendship alone was more proof than any statement that he was feeling better. When he realized that, he 'graduated' from therapy, so to speak, and headed back home to live in Theresa's new house partway through Year 4. He went back to managing the Salon, although he doesn't style anyone's hair unless they're a friend and leaves that work to his new employee, Haruka Koyama, considering Fleurette decided to leave the island. Theresa, who he had left in charge of keeping the salon running with a handful of NPCs, was only relieved to let him take it up again, even happier to see he stopped dying his hair like he used to. According to the man, he simply decided he liked the change and, really, he just felt more mature with his natural hair color, something he figured he would need if he was to parent Junior properly.
XXXXXXXXIn other more relationship oriented news, Kade had continued to keep in contact with Avien Rothenburger, if only because the man was one of the few trustworthy friends Kade seemed to have gain for some reason. While, on the other end, he's been pretty friendly with Walter Dolones, having started a romantic relationship with the man near the beginning of Year 3 as a childish means to show off to Yoakim. They still talked and wrote to each other while he was off in the city, so, while it remains casual, they're still dating enjoyably enough, with Kade continuing to avoid Yoakim.. Ellie, on the other hand, has actually, by some miracle, become more of a friend to Kade again. He doesn't trust her as much as he did, but at least they talk and hang out on occasion! So, in the end, Kade returned to having a nice circle of friends; the Vatonage sisters, Avien, and Dante Tepes~!╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

XXXXXXXXTheresa's life, compared to the several above, was actually quite tame over the next two years. Well, for the most part. She never left Nirvani, if only because there always seemed to be someone who needed her, whether it was Kade, Jacob, or her nephew. But, she soon got over the binds of being stuck on the island and learned to somewhat enjoy taking care of her brothers and nephew. Every time she did feel a little trapped, the woman always had a motorcycle to ride around with – not that that helped much with the lack of any real strip of land to speed across.. But! She did have a much easier access to one Kaleb Romanov whenever she went out, which was a much needed relief after she cut it off with Matthew. It wasn't that she didn't like Matthew anymore, but more so because, well, the relationship had started to get a little dry and she knew very well that the NPC waitress down the street was sending googly-eyes his way every time they took a walk! So, it was easier for the both to break it off.
XXXXXXXXHowever suspicious it may seem, almost the very next day she broke up with Matthew, she hit it off with Kaleb. It made some sense, actually, considering the two hanged out a lot and both found each other attractive – hell, it would probably make it easier to say it was only a matter of time. Besides, she was pretty lonely with just Junior and her, however much she enjoyed the occasional chat with Gladice. They really did get pretty close over the year and a half that they were together, but, quite randomly in the woman's opinion, the guy suddenly broke it off. Not being used to being broken up with, Theresa didn't really take it well at all, starting a heated argument that ended up in Theresa punching him before stalking off. Childish? Maybe. But, it was pretty damned childish of Kaleb to break up something good for no real reason! Since then, the two have been on shaky terms, whether it was Theresa's mock or Kaleb's remark that would start it, they always seemed to end up fighting in one way or another. Ah, but, this didn't mean they avoided each other either – Theresa sometimes came to the winery to reportedly chat with Ilya on days she full well knew Kaleb would be there and she could have sworn that sometimes the man had to have shown up on purpose..
XXXXXXXXOutside of that mess, Theresa ended up being pretty happy to see Kade come home renewed and Jacob setting his life to doing something outside of being a mooching jerk. Junior seemed to have made some friends, although she isn't very fond of the little girl, Molly, but she can't be happier with the kid for getting out more often. Back in Year 2, Theresa had arranged some construction on the plot of land Kade owned to build the family an actual house, having the RV tossed out to the garbage. The home finished being built a year later near the end of Year 3, which is where she and the kid live with Kade and Jacob. Even if she doesn't seem to have anymore reason to be sticking around, she doesn't seem like she's making any move towards leaving Nirvani.. Oh, and in case anyone ever paid attention to the little mouse referenced to once or twice as Theresa's pet, a stray cat ate the critter and joined the family.
