The first thing we're going to say about this game, is that it's going to be different. The idea of having some input in the game, even after you've been jailed or killed has been tossed around before, but no one has ever really done it AFAWK. We put a lot of thought into this game and asked a lot of veterans for their input and suggestions, and we're pretty confident that this game has the potential to be all sorts of ******** and awesome; with lots of opportunities for sneakiness, betrayal, allies and overall evil mastermind-like plots. We specially geared everything to be taken advantage of- from the order of the kills and jailings, to how it works if someone with a role is killed, etc. However, it does operate fairly different than the normal game, so... yeah, just be aware of that fact before voting. It'll involve some thinking and reading this giant a** thing. Some of you will love it, some of you won't- but most of you will only care about one thing: zombies.

SNIPER / THE SCIENTIST Infecting people with the G-Virus using a dart gun. Turns one Gaian into a Zombie per round.

CK / PATIENT 0 A human who is infected with the G-Virus, but keeps their sentience unlike other Zombies. Turns one Gaian into a Zombie per round.

G-TEAM / WHO AGENTS Have the ability to stop infection from the G-Virus, and save a Gaian from becoming a Zombie. (1 per every 10 players, rounded.)

NR / PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR Same old s**t. (1, 2 if over 30 players.)

GCDERS / GAIANS Normal players, who may or may not have a hidden role.

JAILED / REFUGEES Gaians who have been voted out/jailed. They have the ability to, as a collective through voting, chose one Zombie to be brought back to life. (Starting on Day 3)

KILLED / ZOMBIES Gaians who are now infected with the G-Virus. They vote, (or hobble together as a collective towards one person, if you will), and chose one Gaian to join their ranks.

So basically, there will be 3 kills per day, and 1 resurrection. Every day, everyone votes- regardless of your status. Gaians vote for who gets jailed. Jailees vote for who gets resurrected, and Zombies vote for who to kill. The votes will be done on the same thread, but different colours for organization's sake. This leaves room for so many strategies and sneakiness, it's ridiculous. And knowing some of you more organized and conniving players, you could put this system to good use. Which is what we're hoping for!

A player's role will always be revealed if they are killed or jailed.

GENERAL GAME STUFFWHITETEXTLOLYOUSUCK
You have three inactivities, total- whether you're living, dead, or jailed. Regardless of the order they're in, you've only got three.
There are NO days you can skip voting- skipping your vote counts as an inactivity.
Killer and G-Team roles will always send us a second target each day, to be used in case they are inactive the following day.
If a killer goes after a target that has already been zombie'd, (either by the Zombies or the other killer), they will NOT have a back up kill- there will only be that single lone kill. You'll just go 'Oh, s**t I targeted someone that was already dead by the time I got there, that sucks' and that's that.
If for some reason we do not have a kill or save for that day, the target will be RNG'd.
If a person with a role hasn't replied to their PM by the end of Day 2, we'll re cast that role and the first day's targets will be RNG'd
In the case that a killer is inactive and we don't have their clues, (provided they come back before the re casting), the NR will get however many clues to make up for it when the killer gets back to me.
If a role goes inactive before half the member list is dead/jailed, we will reroll said roles. If it's past the halfway mark, we won't.
The order of kills/jailing/etc will always be resurrection, sniper kill, ck kill, zombie kill, then jailing.
If a sniper is caught this round, their kill will still be performed out since sniper kill falls BEFORE the jailing.
If a zombie was originally the deal breaker in a killing but is resurrected, since the resurrection comes FIRST, the zombie kill will be RNG'd. (Example: Photo has 5 Votes, Mose has 6. One of the people that voted for Mose is resurrected, therefore its RNG'd over who becomes a zombie.)
If the Gaian with the most votes to be jailed is killed, then the player with the next highest amount is jailed instead.
If no Jailees and/or Zombies vote, then there is no resurrection and/or Zombie kill!

We really hope this all makes sense, (and that we covered most conflicts- we didn't include everything we wrote up in our massive app but it will be included in the game's rules if we win), but we get that it's a bit overwhelming. We think this game could wind up being super fantastic if people take the time to really think it through and participate!

Click to show.Amongst the dim orange glow the few remaining streetlights gave off, a single man in a dark hazmat suit swiftly made his way through the deserted streets that once were alive with nightlife at this hour. Careful to walk around tipped over chairs and larger pieces of debris, the man's pace slowed down as his eyes narrowed on a lone figure in the distance. Huddled under a flickering pole, the body of a small girl was rocking slightly back and forth, quiet inhuman wails emitting from her gray lips.

The man carefully reached into his pocket, retrieving two things. The first was a picture of a smiling girl he was required to bring back to WHO's headquarters for quarantine and to hopefully rid of the highly contagious 'G-Virus'. The second, was a small needle full of the strongest tranquilizer known to man. Unfortunately, the only way to administer it was to actually inject it into the base of the infected's skull. This, naturally, required some skill. Sucking in a deep breath, the man silently made his way closer to the girl after confirming it was the one in the photograph. Thankfully, she seemed totally oblivious to his light footsteps. A bead of sweat dripping from his brow, the man could almost reach the small girl who was still facing away from him.

Crunch.

His foot impacted with something- he didn't have enough time to look down and see what it actually was. With one swift motion, Sunset Sonata let out a loud wail, stood up, and turned to face the man. Pale face scrunched up with anger and fever, the zombie pounced on the man. Unfortunately for the infected body of Sunset, the man was a highly trained WHO agent. Smacking the small body away from him with his forearm, he quickly flipped the girl over and slammed the tranquilizer into her neck. Panting as Sunset's wails and grunts turned into silence, he quickly threw her over his shoulder before any more of the infected were drawn by all the commotion.

Chikorin Moonie was amongst the Gaians that had not been saved by WHO yet, nor infected. At this point though, she wished for either. All of her friends were gone. Her family, gone. She would never listen to a song that wasn't already recorded, never read a book that wasn't already written, never see a movie that wasn't already filmed. And the internet? She'd be lucky if she saw a computer even turn on in the rest of her life!

In the midst of all her moping, Chi had decided that life was no longer living this way. Either she had to be saved, or infected. Life was too difficult now. She had already snuck out of the small convenience store her and a few other Gaians had taken refuge in, and was now wandering the dark streets, just waiting for something to happen. There was one small problem, though- there didn't seem to be any infected anywhere in sight.

Chi stopped walking, frustrated. Sucking in a deep breath, she let out a long, shrill scream in the hopes one of the zombies would hear her. Nothing.

“What, are you trying to kill yourself or something?!”

Chi spun around, recognizing the familiar face. “O-oh,” she sobbed out, “I just... I didn't... I don't know! I can't live like this anymore!” She choked out, tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Very well then.” The other figure's lips curled into a maniacal smile, and pointed a gun at Chi's neck. “Enjoy the next stage of evolution.”

Roy Salamandra was devastated. Since the outbreak, he hadn't seen a good chunk of his friends- in fact, he had been hiding out in a tree house of all places. He hadn't seen an infected for two days or so; they must have all moved to an area with more humans, because there certainly weren't many here. However, he had just caught glimpse of what must have been a straggler. Not that big of an issue, really, except the fact that particular zombie was, without a doubt, Chi.

Choking down a sob, he watched the mindless body of one of his loved ones wander the suburban streets aimlessly. It was too much. Was he really alone? Roy was running out of supplies as it was, not to mention the loneliness. And now, knowing Chi was one of them...

Roy practically jumped out of the tree house, running towards Chi. He didn't care anymore- at least he could be with her, if only as mindless zombies. As he neared her, his pace slowed down. Her eyes, once brilliantly blue were now a murky grey.

“Chi! Come, let me join you!” Roy cried, arms outstretched. The girl looked lazily over at him, not seemingly that interested. Looking back down, she went back to flipping the red flag on a mailbox up and down, over and over.

“W-what? I don't... understand...” Roy fell to his knees, devastated. She wouldn't even take him as a blood thirsty zombie? He began to sob, shaking madly. Then he felt the sharp, foreign feeling of teeth sinking into his neck. “AHH-”

“I've noticed that for the first hour or so of infection, the subject doesn't seem hungry. After that, though...” The attacker licked their lips clean of Roy's blood. “After that, you just can't get rid of the thirst...” However, Roy didn't hear any of what his attacker had said. His world was too busy spinning and twisting, the pain too great as infection started to set in his spine. At least he'd have his way, and forever be with his beloved.

Hatmaster was safe and secure in his bunker. Albeit alone, he had everything he needed- food, water, shelter, entertainment- pretty much enough of everything to last him a couple years. He was prepared! Hattie knew that s**t like this was going to go down some day, and he prepared. Oh, they laughed. But who was laughing now?!

Hattie let out a small giggle, perhaps evidence that he was slowly losing what was left of his mind despite his safety and comfort. There was one thing he hadn't remembered to stock up on, however- Coke. His favourite beverage, his addiction. (Rather, he had always stocked up on it, but always ended up drinking it before a crisis hit.) Regardless, he was out, and he was starting to go mad with withdrawals. He needed that bubbly, refreshing cola. But was it worth leaving his safe haven for?

The answer was, simply and truthfully, yes.

Forgetting to check his security cameras in a Coke-withdrawal craze, Hattie flung open the thick metal door of his bunker after unlocking the dozen or so different, complex security measures. Only to stare straight into the faces of a dozen infected Gaians.

“Aw, bollocks.”

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The remaining non-infected Gaians were huddled together in Barton coliseum. Ironically, the huge structure was pretty darn zombie proof. Even the stockroom held enough supplies to last them a day or two! However, that didn't really ease anyone's worries. Once again, WHO has asked them to send another human for quarantine and evacuation to them.

“Who should we send?” Someone questioned aloud. “I mean, we know that we have people amongst us that may very well be infected or infecting people, so it's probably best that we send those that seem sick.”

“No way!” Another Gaian interjected. “That's stupid. We should send those who deserve to live first. Right?” A bunch of others muttered in agreement.

“Really,” a soft spoken woman spoke up. “It could go either way. We send those we see as a threat, or those we want to save. We don't really have any leads, so I think we should send Insomnesiac. I mean, she's always been such a great leader, much better than some of the other crazy bitches we've had in the past... ”

“You're right, she deserves it. Besides, she's a doctor- she's valuable!”

Despite Insom's protests, she was whisked away by WHO, to be safe in their secret headquarters.
