 Karis frolicked through a field that was a patch in middle of a larger forest. The more the forest came alive, so also did Karis. She ran abouts all day. Later in the afternoon, she began to wonder if Chiyuki would worry about her. She didn't want to make him worry or feel like he needed to come find her. She groomed her face as she prepared herself to go find her knight and object of her hero worship. Though as she moved into the brush, her eyes caught a glint of something. A glint which drew her interest. Well.. it couldn't hurt to detour a little bit. She'd only check on this for a moment. She'd go back to check in with Yuki soon enough.

 Xanthor was strutting with a greedy grin on his face. he had once again managed to steal something he wanted. to him he always had to get his way and always took what he wanted. being the god of greed her felt entitled to anything and everything that caught his eye. giving a flick of his tail it was more that obvious he was selfish and beyond greedy but then again he was the god of greed.

Karis continued to move closer towards that glint. What was that? It was definitely golden and the rays of sunlight were bouncing off of it. She didn't know very many ulaya that had such raiments. Then, as she drew near, she gasped. The gasp started last longer than she intended, so she had to catch her breath a little bit. This one.. why... he reminded her slightly of that one ulaya with the really long purple hair she met with Chiyuki on the road. The one that had Yuki actng rather strangely and defensively till the stranger told them that he was on a quest to find his loved one.
Karis looked up at him. What a lovely creature. Surely... or.. well hopefully, Chiyuki wouldn't be angry at her for staying out a while. For some reason, deep down, she felt concerned if he were to find her here with this creature. Surely, there would be no cause for such a feeling. Yet still, remembering how he acted with Chrno. While the feeling continued to build within her that maybe she aught to head home right that instant. She just stayed there. Her eyes observed things about him and wondered how he would react if she approached him... Oh the naive little girl she was sometimes..

Xanthor loved anything shiny so it wasn't uncommon for him to be wearing alot of the shiny objects he stole. and when he finally noticed the female a big chesire grin was upon his face. he was opportunistic and always had to make sure he didn't miss a opportunity to get something that he wanted or felt he should have. making his way over, he wonder if she had anything shiny or a cool object he could con his way into getting. his eyes gleamed with greed as he stopped in front of her. " hello there."

She paused for a moment. Then, she looked him over. She then saw what was glinting the sunrays. For, the golden adornments still glinted the sun around. "Wow..." She started with. Then she tried to collect herself as to try and give an impression that she was cool. "You sure do have some shiny things on ya. They are... practically spellbinding." What an elaborate ulaya. Seemed to her that everywhere she went lately; there were ulaya with either very nice hair or some trappings upon their body. She wondered if her lack of them made her seem especially plain. In front of this male, she felt incredibly plain. Of course, being the naive little thing she was; she just took the other's grin as a token of friendliness and a sign that he was in the mood to talk.

( hahah yes i almost forgot to get to this for you xD! i need to get back into this shop)
it was more than clear that Xanthor had a greediness about him as his eyes looked her over with greed. he really wondered if he might get something out of her. " you can look but not touch." grinning even more, she really had no idea what she got into by meeting him. " i hope your not the type to snatch shiny things, as i worked hard to collect these." chuckling, oh sure he worked hard for them but only out of his greed of wanting things.

Karis held herself back. She blushed both humbled and abashed. "Oh. No! I'd never snatch any of your shinies, good Sir. I would most certainly never take anything that didn't belong to me.. well.. unless it was given as a present I suppose... but since that rarely happens.. it's really neither here nor there..."
She heard his chucklings and saw some of his looks, but as she was lacking in worldly understanding. They were empty of meaning for her. She just took them as what she'd hope they'd be. Of course, she'd always be willing to give even when she had nothing. Though, what she could give him that he didn't have already... that remained still the mystery. perhaps a new game was afoot.
"They are pretty to look at though. It's like the light just catches on them in the right way. It almost gives the impression that they sparkle."
