Karis was pretty excited that afternoon. The sun was out and shining. She felt like finally winter has given up its fight, and soon the herbs and veggies she preferred would grow again. In the meantime, she was stuck having to cope with eating fish till then. She never really was much of a carnivore. Regardless, she headed on down to the stream with a long branch and a string in her maw.
When she got there, she started to fasten the string to the stick. While she was doing that, she couldn't help but get that tinkly feeling that someone else was there. Still, she wasn't smelling, seeing or hearing them. She tried to be ready... for anything.

Aquos let out a sigh as he lazed floating the in the water. Once again he had been tricked. One again his world came crashing down. Once again he was alone. He shouldn't have believed her. Believing her lead him to this point in the first place. Guess he thought she could change but what was he kidding himself? He was young and dumb and all this had done was lead him down a path full of regret....
At least the water was warm enough to swim in again. Aquos couldn't help but love the water. It was in his blood and he was good at it. It helped him relax and forget every....Forget about her and how she had hurt him.

Shaking off the feeling of another's presence, she tossed her line into the river. She sat there for what felt like an eternity. Though as she thought she saw a pull on the line and went to pull it in. The darndest sight made her mouth fall open, and her fishing pole just rolled right out of it and into the water. Well if that didn't beat all.. Now she knew she had some interesting meetings of other ulaya... but wow... Did one just go float on by just then? Crap! She was losing tract of her fishing pole. It was flowing in the same direction as that ulaya was. She quickly made haste to get after it. "Awwwwmanzzzzzz...." She sighed dejectedly as she darted through the shallow water trying to grab her pole before it got carried too far.
