Hello guildies and fans of Dragon Age! I'm Dione, and I'm here to welcome you to our guild. There are a few simple things we'd like you to know as a member of our guild!

The most important thing is we're all here to have fun! Stop into the topics and start chatting with people if you're not comfortable with RPing with strangers right off the bat. Everyone here is friendly and willing to make new friends!

Now onto the rules, which aren't quite as fun but still are important:

x Members must be 16 years or older. This is for the safety of younger members of Gaia and for the enjoyment of our members. This is taking effect on 5/1/11 and will NOT be imposed retroactively. If you are under 16 and feel you are mature enough to be here, you'll need to prove it by your actions and demeanor.

x The subforums are ONLY for the RP. You can chat at TOPICS.

x Members can have at least 2 characters to start with. More active members will be allowed more characters at the discretion of the Captain, Vice Captain, and Crew members. Please bear in mind your character can only be involved in one story/group at a time. Unless it is clearly stated in a 1x1 rp, these stories are all happening concurrently. Therefore, if you're in Denerim, you can't also be in Antiva. This is why you can have more than one character.

x Please keep your characters true to the DA lore. No pink, green (etc) hair or superpowers, wings, etc. Keep it realistic enough. For more information about DA lore, read up on it here. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Age_Wiki

x Your character can be any race, with any skill set, from any country, so long as it follows DA Lore.* If you want to play in a country that doesn't have a sub forum, contact an officer and it will be made for you. We started off with just Kirkwall and have expanded to Ferelden thus far.

x Most of our characters play in groups or parties. These groups can be as small as two, but please, no larger than six or things get messy. The parties are not set in stone, you may switch parties or have parties interact with one another during your travels.To ask to join someone's party or extend an invitation comment on their character profile or PM them. x There are also 1 on 1 Rps available, if you'd prefer that.

x Be semi-literate, at least. We're not asking you to be an English Major with flawless spelling and grammar, but do your best. This means make an attempt at using punctuation and proper capitalization.

x Drama in the story is alright. Drama between guildies is not. If you're having a problem with another guildmate, please contact an officer to mediate.

x Remember, we're all here to have fun, and none of us are tyrants. Your ideas and input will help us shape the guild and make it better for all.

*Please note that is this Game Lore, which means it must come from Dragon Age: Origins, any of it's expansions, including Awakening, or Dragon Age 2. You may NOT use Lore that is mentioned only in the Novels or Graphic Novels. This role play is based off of the games. - Updated 5/26
