It was damn important news in his perspective. He'd been an eternal one day, a Prince the next. Power levels over 9000. Wings that moved. A ******** crystal. Magic on magic on cocaine and tiger's blood. Win here, win there. Bi-winning. He was a royal now. But he was...at a loss. He had no court. No one who to call his subjects. He had a people. Those were his allies. The senshi. The white moon royals who had been beacons oh hope...and now he was one himself? Well. Sort off. He was from Castor, which wasn't..really a moon. Or white. Point was he was a prince and had no ******** idea where to start.
He knew of one royal who he could find. Chronos. But, he just knew her in that strange friend of a friend, 'oh we say hi as we see each other in the hallway' type thing. But there was someone he trusted. Someone he knew and had asked for advice from in the past. She also knew about Lina. Who was also a factor. Okay she was a big factor. A huge one. Screw it, she was part of why he was a prince. He would protect her. Help the world for her. For them. But how did you explain to your allies that the old negaverse ex-girlfriend was actually your real girlfriend but it's okay now because Cosmos purified her? Really...Castor had no clue how to handle it when he would have to confront some of his old allies, much less his friends.
Flora was someone Castor trusted, both as a senshi, and as a friend. She knew of his problems in his past, and he hoped she might help him with those he was facing in the near future. Because of this, he'd called her out, hoping to get some advice.
Or just a good firm talking to.

Things seemed to hit a standstill lately. Studying, writing papers, handing them up, going back, patrolling, get some sleep, go to school. Rinse and repeat. It was a struggle for her, to try not to get drained, to motivate not only herself, but Rea as well. Sometimes it felt like a lie, to slap a smile onto her face and pep herself up as much as possible, because she felt like it was her duty to do so. Eve wished she could be like Bo, because he made it seem so easy to be carefree, but once she henshined up, Flora immediately took things much more seriously.
Once she got Castor's call, she headed towards his location, thankfully unhindered by any youma or Negaverse agents. It didn't sound like Castor was in trouble; besides, he was pretty good on the battling front, so she figured that it was probably another one of his love troubles again. He better not be pining over Lina again. She reflected with a sigh. He wouldn't do that, right? He had Audrey, and they were perfect together!
"Hey, Castor." She greeted with a small smile, encouraging herself to be as hopeful as possible. Perhaps he had called her regarding something silly. This was Castor they were talking about, after all! "What's up?"

He was done with his days of pining. It was more like these were days of smothering his love. Lina was Daphne. Daphne was Audrey, but no one knew that anymore. Not really. Audrey never was. Just Daphne. Daphne and Lina. One and the same. God, how did one explain that? Correction, you really didn't. Castor fidgeted as he thought about how to tell Flora the news. 'Hi, I am a prince, and I need to figure out what that means.' 'So, you know how Lina was evil? I got her purified, and sort of became a prince as a side effcet'. 'I dun goof'd'
Yeah. Castor wasn't sure how to say it. As Flora came into view, the senshi of hail smiled, trying not to fuss. "I am going to marry Lina." Oh yes. Just what NOT to say.
Back stepping. "Er, no. Okay start over. Lina was my wife in the past. And I wasn't just a senshi- I was a Prince. But now we're getting our second chance and she's been purified and I'm back to being a prince and I have a crystal and wings and Flora I-" He sighed. "s**t, I'm sorry. I'm babbling. Point is, I am a prince Flora." He didn't want to just power up. That would draw every youma and negaverse officer for miles towards them. "I don't know how to really explain it all but..I'm Prince Castor, senshi of hail."
He was attempting to give her puppy dog eyes. "Help?"

"Lina. LINARITE." Flora echoed; she couldn't help that it came out louder than she meant it to. The name was spoken in an entirely cold and flat tone, because really, this was the girl who had almost led her friend to his doom, almost killed her, and probably had killed dozens of innocent lives. "Are you mad, Castor..." She began, halting the admonishment only to listen to what he said. Honestly, this was goddamn confusing. Had he been brainwashed? What on Earth had happened that made him declare this when he had managed to get together with Audrey? ...Wait... Audrey? No, it was Daphne! Who was Audrey and how did that name get into her head?
"You sound crazy." She said finally, after he had proclaimed that he was a prince. "I mean, the only Princes we have, or at least, had, are Eon and Endouchemion. I'm not really counting the latter, y'know." Not because he didn't possess his Great Crystal anymore, but mostly because of his attitude towards her Princess. "Princess Chronos never said anything about other Princes. How does Princehood work anyway?"
At least, luckily for him, Flora was now focusing more on the Prince part, and not the Lina part. Or Castor would probably face much more disbelief and Flora would have no qualms about attempting to beat him up.

Ah yes.Dramatic reaction get. It was just the type of thing he should have expected, given some of their previous conversations on the matter. "Yes. that Lina" He took a deep breath. Tried his best to not get emotional. Looking at her right in the eyes Castor's voice didn't waiver as he said it again. "I am going to marry Lina. The same Lina who once was known to use as Linarite." Did he seem more determined? He hoped he did, because it was taking a ton of internal control to not babbler all over and gush. "She purified. She's not a part of Chaos anymore. She's just..Lina. Mercurian Knight and.." He removed his glove a band of silver on his finger. "My fiance." Voice softened, as well as his expression. He couldn't be serious all the time. "Soon to be my consort...and guess an unofficial princess too I guess?"
He chuckled. "But yeah. Linarite came and we fought and...I couldn't do it in the end Flora. I couldn't kill her...but at the same time." The conflict of his choice still weighed on him. They had tipped the scales....but which side would reap the greater befits? "I couldn't live without her. She was, she is, my reason for fighting. I almost took that final step Flora." A sad smile. "I almost pulled a real life Romeo." Sighing hands fell to his sides in defeat. "Cosmos showed up and stopped me. She gave us a choice. Lina...she chose to escape the darkness and I-" A shrug. "I became a prince. It just...was."
"From what memories I've managed to recall since is that I died in the past while in battle, but no memories of my ascension have come up. Just my final moments alive. As to here and now, I have the Castorian Crystal, as finicky as it is. For the other princes..." Another shrug, the a very heavy scowl. "Eon I...can only express my condolences for, but as far as Endymion is concerned he not an ally. He betrayed us, he betrayed Earth. I'm more concerned with Chibimoon knowing her father is back, yet knowing at the same time that he is..."
Castor's voice trailed off as he took another breath. "But yes. I am a prince. And frankly I have no idea where to start. Aside from the fact I have my crystal again, I don't know what that means. You know me Flora. I'm not the best guy, much less a wholesome character. I'm just..lost here. I figured I'd it might be a good idea to talk to the royal who's been around a while but...um." Nervous chuckles and Castor was rubbing the back of his head. "I uh...am not exactly close to Chronos. Sure we've talked but..this sort of thing doesn't seem like something you just kinda bring up."

"I will punch you in the face if that's what it takes to ram some logic into you." Sailor Flora declared, arms akimbo, attempting to restrain herself from doing exactly what had just escaped her lips. He was going to marry her. The Lina who tried to kill her! And him too! It took a lot of willpower for her to simply stand there and listen to what else he had to say, eyes glaring daggers of poison. Because it was entirely ridiculous. All this was ridiculous. Lina was a Knight now? And he had proposed to her? "You are losing me." She said, voice wavering, fighting back a furious urge to stomp her foot in protest, or to hit him physically for being so utterly stupid. She was already chanting curse words in her mind, and they very nearly could have spilled over with the amount of ridiculous she was hearing.
"Let me get this straight." Flora managed, crossing her arms now because her gloved fists could very well meet his face if she hadn't . "Cosmos made you a Prince and Lina a Knight, and everything is all sunshine and rainbows and marriage and happiness? What about Aud-- Daphne?" She took a step backwards and crossed her legs then, the left foot over her right foot, expelling a deep angry breath as she did so.
"At least we're on the same page about Endouchebag." The Senshi of Spring conceded, and her anger was briefly transferred to the supposed Prince of the Earth. "I can help you talk to Princess Chronos about your... uh... Prince-ness. That is, if I can forgive you for this ludicrous thing about Linarite, and I'm not sure I can." She was giving him a chance. She wasn't walking away just yet. Besides, she would tell her Princess about him sooner or later, even if she was still mad at him, because that was important. But Flora really wanted him to assure her that the thing about Lina would be alright, because she was wavering.
She was shaking, she was scared, thinking that Linarite might have done something to brainwash him, give him an illusion and then take it all away and kill him and everyone else. "She almost killed me." She told him softly. "I just can't... up and forget that."

Castor was smiling at her. Smiling as she had a ragefest. "Yes and Yes and I will let you figure that one out on your own." He wasn't about to tell the world Lina was Daphne. Linarite had created a great deal of enemies in the senshi ranks. The last thing he would do is let the secret fall to those who might not be so keen to his wife. How many senshi were brutal? Quite a few. They lived and fought in a war and he wasn't so stupid to think some might not desire revenge for her past actions. "But I'm ME again Flora. I- for the first time in my life I am with someone and I feel whole. Like something I was missing is back. I know it's weird, I know it's crazy but Flora." He grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze. "Please try to understand. She is the one. On my world I can feel it. She is a part of me. She's- Just try to understand it. For me." He wanted the senshi to love her like he did. He didn't want them to look at her with hate or resent. He wanted them to see her and welcome her. He left her hand go, expecting still the senshi of spring to sock him anyway. Even he would give that almost killing them both had been a stupid idea in the end.
"Please. Let me meet with Chronos. My wife's past aside I am a prince now and I need help. Lina gave up everything to be with me again. She- Flora, they were going to kill her. They were going to kill her just because she loved me. Please." He was begging. Castor had always trusted Flora and held her in high respect. She'd given him advice, been an ear to his woes, and more than that she was his friend. He wanted her to understand. If he couldn't convince her to at least give Lina a chance...what hope did he have with others? "I am not asking you to forget the past Flora. In the past I fell in love with a woman from earth, a knight of Mercury. She loved me in return and we wed. Then war found us and ripped us apart. She died in my arms, and I couldn't save her. But I made a vow, a promise to find her again. To be with her again. And now, I completed that vow. I found her again and by the grace of Cosmos she's back." He was pleading with her. He wanted just a chance. "I don't expect everyone to forgive her, but give her a chance. She gave up everything to be with me, she risked her life to be with me. I- I want be able to save her, to protect her. I don't want to lose her again Flora." The memory of her dying in his arms haunted him. He'd never forget that. He'd never forgive himself for not being able to reach her in time. Emotions ran wild in his voice. Betraying him and showing his raw feelings.
"I want to be a prince. I want to be able to fight without fear of hurting the other senshi. I want to protect them, all of them; but I'd be lying Flora to say that was it. It would be a shitty lie to not say that one main reason I want to see Chronos is so in being a prince I can keep her alive this time. That I can keep my ultimate promise to her. A world where we could be together without fear of the darkness about to rip us apart." Castor took a deep breath. "Please, even if you can't forgive what she did in the darkness, give her a chance in the light. For me." If Castor couldn't at least sway Flora...who could he hope to convince?
"I need to do this...both for myself...and for her."

It was really annoying that he had that goofy smile plastered on his face when she was trying the best to struggle with her emotions and figure out exactly how to react to all this. It was really annoying because it was as if he didn't take her swallowing the news as though it mattered, because he was thinking only about his happiness, sparkles and rainbows. Flora hated it, but he was happy. After being tortured that his love was from the Negaverse, that problem was finally solved, and she should be happy for him. Should. But she couldn't crack a smile on her lips just yet because Flora did not understand. She did not have someone she thought of as the one she would spend the rest of the life with, she did not get all this true love business. "You'd be better off preaching about this to Princess Chronos." She croaked out.
Only the Princess would understand. Because the Princess had felt the same way about Eon.
Or maybe she was just partly jealous that she didn't have someone to love as strongly. I gave that up. She thought. Love is fickle. I can't die for something that is fickle. "I will tell her you are a Prince. I will tell her that you obviously need help." She said sternly. But she also knew that Chronos would not admonish Castor like she had, she would forgive him and Lina easily, take his hand and smile because she would be happy that he and his true love were reunited. Flora knew she should react that way. But she wasn't as benevolent as her Princess.
But she could try, right? She could try, for the sake of a friend that she cared for. "I will... try." Flora breathed, biting her lip. "If she promises me that she won't kill again. I'm not going to say I'll forgive her completely. It'll take time. I may still hate a part of her. But I want to know, I want to hear her say that she has changed for the better. I want to see that she does."
Only because you love her, Castor.
(Also, only because he would probably never stop whining to her if she remained adamant.)

It took about 5 seconds for the words to sink in. In those five seconds Castor looked at Flora like a fool. But once they had passed, the senshi of spring found herself in a hug with Castor all but jumping up in down with joy and childlike delight. "Thank you Flora! Oh ******** hell thank you." He did spin her around twice before setting her down thought. Some giddy actions even he couldn't contain.
Laughing, Castor grabbed her hands and kissed them. "Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you Flora. God you don't even know how much that means to me. I- I just worry. To just be willing to try, I just worry not everyone will or can. She..She was with them so long. Some of what she did-" He shook his head. "Its the past. I promise someday, soon even, I'll set you up to meet her. I'm sure you'll see it. She's an amazing woman." There was no wrong to be found in Lina. He was blind to such things. He'd yet to face them.
"And ******** thank you. If Chronos can help me that would be the ever loving s**t. I dont want to almost kill myself again. Or...ruin more of my home. Granted you- can't really ruin ruins. Well I guess you can but nobody live there so augh just-" He picked her up in another hug. "Thank you Flora."

Happy, giggling Castor, Flora decided as she was wondering whether she should suppress a grin as he started spinning her around, was definitely better than a whining, pouty Castor. While his actions were kind of ridiculous, it was a relief to see him so happy again instead of constantly being antagonized over Linarite. He had never given up on her, she knew. Her shadow had constantly hung over his features, and now it was her who brought light to the very same face.
She had better be worth it, Flora thought. For Castor's sake.
Like Pegasus. She thought suddenly, as Castor mentioned that others might not forgive Lina easily either. And she couldn't blame them. She knew Pegasus had shared her hatred of Linarite, and wondered how exactly her roommate would take this news. She did not dare to try and convince Rea to forgive the newly initiated Knight when she herself had yet not. "Setting up a meeting would be best." She agreed. She didn't think things would go down very well if she were to bump into Knight Lina out on patrol, when Castor was not there at the scene. She didn't trust herself to swallow her grudges down if he was not there.
"Just... you'd better not make me talk to Pegasus about this." It was best to tell him straight, she thought. As persuasive as she could be to the Senshi of Dreams, she was reluctant to even forge an argument about forgiveness. It was one thing that Castor could not make her do. "But yeah, call me when you want me to meet her. I'll call you when I've talk to the Princess, okay?" She squeezed him back.
I'm just glad you're alive.

Eager to set up some sort of get together had the senshi of hail's head shaking up and down. "That is no problem, I can set up a date or just...a casual run in. Just, augh I'd kiss you if we hadn't already established how weird that is plus the fact I'm ya know..." Castor gave a sigh and relaxed, tension fading into the warm air. "I used to wake up and wonder what life would be like if I could just be able to tell her everything and now..." Eyes skyward, the clouds rolled and the flickering lights in the sky becoming artificial stars. Beyond them? Their world, their ancestral homelands.
"Now I get to feel that. It's just-" He looked back, blue eyes gay. "I want the rest of the senshi to have that chance. You know?" It felt liberating to have just gotten this out there, to have it known. To have it- open.
"I'll talk to the senshi I can, Pegasus included. It's my s**t to deal with. Just get to Chronos and call. I'll be waiting for it." As he walked away, Castor waved. "By the way, tell Virgo she still owes me one ice cream date!" laughing he kept walking into the distance. He was a prince, old yet new. But in about an hour, he'd just be Elzo again and he could have the woman he loved in his arms. The woman he'd change the world for. Starting by making sure he was the best prince he could hope to be.
