Zuraya didn't know how long they had been walking. Days, she knew, but she'd lost track of how far they'd gone. She wasn't used to so much travel at one time and was exhausted, but she kept going because the the male who had brought her with him might be displeased if she stopped without his permission. Maybe. Zuraya didn't know what would set him off, so she was sure all this time to be extra sensitive just in case. All her compliance still didn't seem to have any effect on him, at least as far as she saw. For all she could tell, he didn't even like her, and so she was left wondering why he was dragging her out into the middle of nowhere.

He hadn't told her his name yet, and Zuraya hadn't asked. She thought the less she spoke, the better. But now as her paw pads ached and her fur burned with the heat of the sun, she dared to risk his ire and asked, “...Can we rest?”

Ouran snorted, rolling his eyes. His own paws were tired, his eyes burning from the lack of sleep. He didnt like being out in the open, so he refused to stop and take the needed rest his body was asking for. He yawned, though he still had a glare on his face.

"Stop being so lazy." He realized this was a good time to learn her name, so he could use it against her if he had to. Hopefully it wasnt something completely ridiculous. He hated stupid names..

"What is your name? I must know so that I can personalize my statements." He said, his voice a bit stern. He wasnt going to be stopping, not when they were as close as they were. Once they were within the lands, she was his, and she couldn't escape. He needed to get there sooner, rather than later.
Though by now, he knew he had scared her far too much for her to take off. She feared for her life, and that fear was powerful.

Here she was, a fully grown lioness, a banu proper. The only problem is that Isra, at present, was still in her father's harem. Not that she disliked living amongst her relations, it was just that she felt beyond ready to go off to belong to someone else. Having being taught to hunt by her mother and grandmother, she had the skills and she naturally possessed the demeanor that would make a good banu, but things were just playing out a little slower for her. Patience was a virtue, and one that she firmly held to.

Her day would come. Until then, she would do as she was told and do well by her father, even if the close press of his personal banu and her various half-siblings were a bit much from time to time. Such times as those drove her out to hunt. Where there was open air and space that she may move in. On such trips, the dark lioness made sure to take her time. There was no point in rushing to land some choice prey after all and it would grant her some time to herself.

Isra paused to stretch, front legs, then back before continuing her tracking. There had been a deal of movement of various prey beasts as of late, both large and small. Having no particular target in sight, the female listened, keeping her body low in the grasses.

What was that? Voices? Isra rose up, ears swiveling to help pinpoint the origin. They didn't sound familiar, granted it would be a lie if she were to say that she recognized every soul in the pride just from the sounds of their voices. From the sound of things, it was a male and a female so it wouldn't be proper to just out and address them first. Following the sound of movement and voices, Isra made her way closer. Perhaps they were lost, or one of the young Pads returning from their quest, or maybe they were here for a reason. Hm. If they weren't familiar with the pride's traditions, maybe an introduction could be asked for, if it wasn't freely given.

“Zuraya,” the lioness answered promptly, and she did not ask about rest again. The last time she'd been beaten she had healed, but she didn't want to go through it again. What if he decided she was too much of a bother and killed her instead? She did, however, respond, “Can I ask your name?” She spoke it politely but the irony of it was not lost on her that she was introducing herself to her captor. It felt bizarre, but Zuraya had resigned herself to put up with anything as long as it saved her skin.

She didn't notice that they weren't alone anymore, too preoccupied with her own thoughts and the aches and pains in her body from all the walking she'd done. All she knew was that soon she would have to find some shade and rest, or risk collapsing, and she didn't want to think of how this mean male might try and force her back on her feet.

When she spoke her name, he nodded gruffly noting it to his memory. When she asked his name, he sneered, but figured if she were to be his, she should at least know what to call him. He looked at her as if he was doing her a favor, and cleared his throat.

"Ouran. But I am Master Ouran to you in public." He warned. He didnt mind if she used his name only around the den, but he was to be completely adored outside of the den. He was all about appearances. He was going to make himself look powerful, and this was one way to do it.

"Stop." He commanded, flicking an ear as he heard the crunch of grass. He knew someone was approaching, and he used his nose to scent the air. Female. A dark grin came over his features, and he looked at Zuraya with an amused gaze.

"I think we have company."
Looking back out towards the grasses, he chuckled once more.

"Come out, come out, whereever you are."

Ah, her presence had been noticed. Even though she knew this, Isra couldn't help but pause at the order, bowing her head ever so slightly before emerging from the cover of the long grass. Now that she was face to face with the owners of the carried voices, she could tell that they were not of the pride yet. From her various comings and goings within the pride, she was pretty certain that she could at least recognize the children of the numerous Banu that lived around. He was new, as was his female.

Taking a seat a few feet in front of the pair, Isra kept her head bowed, her gaze fixed on the two. "Hello and welcome to the Ukuucha'Wafalme lands." Er. If she had been accompanied by a male she would have been chastised, and wouldn't have had to speak first in the first place. At lease she could wait for a name before she gave hers in order to not step so far beyond what she had known.

When Ouran commanded her to stop, Zuraya did without thinking. It was only after she'd already stopped that she thought about how quickly she obeyed him, but she was more interested now in who he was looking for. She hadn't sensed anyone. So she stayed quiet and listened.

When the other female came out of cover, Zuraya looked her over curiously. She seemed so... demure. Was she shy, maybe? Zuraya had never seen a lioness bow her head like that before when giving a greeting, and she assumed it might be a sign of respect? Her family had never done that, anyway. Zuraya had heard of these lands before, and Ouran had before mentioned them as their destination. She sighed with relief as she felt that perhaps now all the walking was over, at least.

Zuraya was also ignorant of custom. So when the lioness spoke, she bowed her head in a similar way to her and responded, “I'm Zuraya. Nice to meet you.”

He chuckled when the other invited him to her lands. She wasnt really that clever, if she was already inviting him. He was a mean soul, and he wasnt against showing her that. But for now, he just sort of grinned and winked at her. A twitch of his tail and he was looking at Zuraya with a bit of a glare.

"Did I tell you to speak to her, Zuraya?" He asked angrily, though when he looked back at Isra he hid the growl that he wanted to emit.

"I think I might like these lands. Come now. Why don't you show me around."
He chuckled again, and then waited for her to follow instructions.

The other female's greeting caused her eyes to widen for a moment in surprise and mild shock, before she dropped her gaze to her paws when the male chastised the lioness, Zuraya, for speaking out of turn. Perhaps if she got a chance to speak with this new lioness alone, she could bring her up to speed on the ways of the pride so as to avoid future fussing and potential beating.

Isra lifted her head to look to the male. She nodded her head and rose to her paws. "Oh, yes, of course. Please, do follow me." She turned and motioned for them to follow. She made certain to not get too far ahead and indicated the major places of interest, socializing places, the denning area, off where the preferred hunting grounds were, so on and so forth. Her brief and thorough tour ended in the heart of the pride territory. She turned to the pair and dipped in another bow. "If you have any more questions, I'm sure any number of us would be willing to try and answer them for you, or if you'd prefer to seek me out for those questions, my name is Isra and I'm around." She offered before nodding a polite farewell and excused herself back to her familial den.
