"I'm glad we could go out today. It's nice out and there's not a lot of people here," Cody commented randomly, hand linked with the boy's next to him. Today they had decided to go out shopping for wedding bands and, in order for Cody to meet Edes' little brother, they had taken him along with. The mall was relatively empty with the vast majority of mall goers being older ladies and those with toddlers or going to and from work. It wasn't that he disliked crowds, no, it was more he disliked having so many people around with few points for exits. Ever since he fled the facility, there was this constant fear of being caught again. As such, he tried to steer clear of any place without more than two exits available.
"That's the place I got the ring from. The selections are pretty nice," Cody added, nodding towards the store. Another plus about the mall, lots of stores and thus lots of places to vanish. Easiest place to lose someone in which was why he had his hand entangled with Edes'.

It wasn't often the naga got out on his own without Damon or Ilyrosa physically dragging him outside and into public. This was mostly due to his lazy nature and fear of wide open spaces. The mall, thankfully, counteracted this fear nicely with dozens of stores and enough people to keep him happy. Not to mention, unlike Ilyrosa, Damon wasn't all that willing to hand money over to Seth.
Probably a good idea, since he didn't wear pants and as such had nowhere to actively store it. With a sigh, Seth dragged himself onto a bench in front of a rather nice-looking jewelry shop. Man he was tired. If only Ily and Damon hadn't chose TODAY of all days to have a massive, violent argument over the state of the basement. It wasn't that bad down there anyways... To him, anyways.

"Most people would be in school or work right now, so I think it is the best time to go shopping~" Edes gently leaned against his fiancée, blushing as his hand was held so tightly between the other's. It was just a little chilly here, but still nice, and nicer still that he had a warm body against his own. The only ones here beside himself, his lover, and Seth were the mothers who wandered around with their tiny tots, and the old people who wanted 'fresh' air.
"Alright, we'll look there first, okay sweetie?" He himself wasn't too picky about the ring he was given, but He knew that Cody like quality, so he would let the other lead for now.

"Leave me alone!! All I did was fly in!! Was that really that bad? I didn't break anything, I promise!!" A rather frantic voice filtered through the air as a young boy with jet black hair, goggles on, and grey wings soared through the high roofed mall, trying to shake off the the police that were chasing him.
"Get down here right now!!"
"I'll get down if you promise to stop chasing me!!" He hated this!! What was wrong with flying? It was WAY easier than simply walking! As he turned away from his flight path for just a moment, to look behind him, he found himself crashing into a pillar, tumbling out of the sky. Dazed, he began to fall, right into the 'lap' of a rather reptilian sort.
"Ow.. Oww.." He whimpered, holding his head, then sitting up in the lap that belonged to the person before him. "Crap.. Hide me.. Please!!"

Cody nodded, determined to get something nice even if Edes didn't think they needed it to be as such. "Alright. Hey, did you hear something?" he asked, suddenly hearing some commotion and shouting nearby. Blue-green eyes scanned the mall several times, unable to locate the source only to spot what was a giant mess of gray feathers and green scales. "Huh... Weird..."

Seth hadn't realized what was going on until something large and feathery fell out of the sky and landed in his lap. With a squeak, he carefully helped him out of his lap and did a quick check to make sure he was alright. "Why d'you need to hide?" he asked quietly, slipping off the bench. For some reason, none of what had just transpired bothered or surprised him and instead took it in stride. When one lived with a child of wrath and dealt with Damon, such things happened more often than he liked.
"There's a store nearby, we can hide in there. I'm Seth, by the way," he introduced, maneuvering up the stairs and peering around. Seeing the coast was clear he snaked out only to run right into Cody and Edes as they walked by. "Oh! Excuse me! I'm sorry," Seth gasped, surprised. Where DID they come from anyways? He was sure he hadn't seen anyone before exiting the short staircase...

Edes' elfish ears twitched, catching up on a sound that was all too familiar to him. He gave a slight grin, tugging Cody away from the store they were beginning to browse.
"We'll be right back, okay?" He beamed at the person who had been getting ready to help them, before the sound was heard. "It seems my little brother has just arrived." Giving Cody a kiss on the cheek, he led him out to the main mall, following the sounds he just knew were the little Lust/Kindness child's.
Before he knew it, he ran right into him, and the little Snakish boy that had come with them.
"Mischa!!"

"I'm Mischa! I'm brother of.. uh.. Edes!" He introduced, quickly following the slithering boy before him, gazing behind him to make sure that the mall cops weren't following them. With an Oof, he collided with a big man, with pinkish hair.
"Wait a minute.. I know you... CODY!" He cried out, giving him a big squeeze. They had not met before, but he knew how much he meant to Edes, so he automatically adored him.
"Big brother!"

Cody frowned slightly in confusion. "Your brother is here? Huh..." He muttered, allowing himself to be led towards the now quieted commotion. As he rounded a corner he gasped as he collided with someone only to be embraced by it a moment later. Which was apparently Edes brother named Mischa. "I... Uh... Hi Mischa," he greeted, glancing over at the other one who was apparently a naga. Strange.
Seth tilted his head at the sudden, and strange, reunion between brothers and... Cody. Definitely a lot more commotion than he thought would be caused but then again, perhaps they hadn't seen each other in a while for some reason or another. Would make sense, after all. Figuring talking with Mischa or Edes, he turned his gaze to the other spawn. "Hi," he greeted softly, waving a hand at the older, pink-haired man that seemed a little put out on the happy reunion. "M'name's Seth," he said, smiling happily when he waved back.
"Hey. I assume you already know my name," Cody replied, crossing his arms lazily in front of his chest to wait for things to return relatively back to normal noise and excitement levels.
