Sorry this is a little late!! I wanted to make sure to get it up here though. We don't have much time either, since February is a short month!!
February's contest is to make a valentine!!! Of course. smile Let us here in the guild know how much you love us. wink
Rules:
Image Source: stock photo's, your own photos, effects, brushes, etc...
Number Of Submissions: Multiple submissions allowed, but not more than 10 per person
File Format: .jpg, .png, or .gif are best, .bmp is ok if you must.
Any size (please don't stretch the page if its big though, just post a link) is allowed, and animation is OK.
Deadline: Midnight Feb 28th.
Ready, set, go!

Here's a Guild preveiw, just finished it especialy for the Guild actualy, but I like it so much, I think I'll throw it in my dA 4laugh

a more "conventional" - sweatdrop - submision
and a short story how twisted is a road of an idea can be
i started to sketch some ideas for the card and one was a heart with horns (without the shadow...), so i drew the heart and did the shading and the idea of a winged shadow came to me. drew that and started thinking, hmm... this needs some text... - and it hit me the pic is exact parallel of the "because the night" lyrics - which is one of my fav songs ^^;;;
i sometimes get the feeling my brain works on different waves than me xp
