yII entering from the Town traveling thread
Before too long, yII could see the outline of the lighthouse a little more easily. It was still pretty obscured by all the fog, but he could at least tell it was there. Hopefully, that really was a lighthouse and not some giant flaming pony of doom. That would be bad.
Aside from the horses, they had other things to watch out for anyway. Now that they were closer, he was a little more alert, looking around to try and spy signs of life. As of yet, they hadn't run into anything, but sooner or later that had to change. It was a little nerve wracking to say the least.
"See anything?" he asked the others. He still wanted to get up into the lighthouse if possible. If they were lucky, they would be able to get into it without any real trouble.

[Beta Seven entering from Lighthouse Hiding thread!]
She used the fog as cover to get as close as possible, making sure Beta Ten/X was following her as she moved away from the main group and towards the three dressed in Olive gear. There was no foliage around to hide behind, and it was not like she would be able to avoid confrontation any time soon... She frowned, gripping the hilt of her dagger and pulling it out from where she had stashed it around her waist.
"Beta Ten, I won't attack them, but if they attack me... Heh, yell for the rest and back me up because they deserve it," She addressed the one (with balls of steel!) whom she had asked to follow her on this mission before walking out of the cover of the fog, and to where she would be visible to the enemies before her. Of course, they could always end up as allies, but for now, everyone's an enemy.
"Well, I see a lighthouse and two colored tents," She begun, holding out the dagger in front of her as she addressed the Olive one who had spoken, "And its pretty obvious that like my friends and I, you guys don't belong here..."

[B3 entering from hiding thread]
Three had followed her fellow blue towards the figures but hung back a bit, hunkered down in the fog to see how they treated seven before announcing her own presence...that way she told herself i they attacked her fellow blue she and the others could take the enemy by surprise. No sense in putting them all in danger right? And surely they could get to Seven in time to help if things went bad....
Yeah. it was a good plan..but it still made her anxious and she shifted her weight silently as she crouched on the fog damped ground and strained to hear what was being said.

Before he could really get a response from the rest of the group, yII heard a new voice in the area. Quickly, he whirled around to face them with his gun at hand. There stood a woman with the number Beta Seven etched in her helmet. He didn't see anyone else around, but from the sounds of it, she wasn't quite alone. Of course, it could be a bluff, but he was going to be careful anyway.
"I don't think anyone really belongs on this island," he said, "But yes, we just came from a different area."
yII was tense and it could probably be seen through his body language. This b7 had caught him off guard, which had him rather wary. He was trying to figure out if he should try and strike down this woman, but for all he knew, her group may outnumber his three.
"What of it?" he added.

(( yVII entering from the Town's Travelling thread ))
Gamma Seven had been a few paces behind Two, not sticking too close just in case something happened; he'd hate to not have an escape, or to be a real hinderance to his team mate. He saw the figure appear out from the fog, and almost instantly he turned his back to Gamma Two to cover the both of them; it would be stupid to show your back to a potential tactic. He had no weapon, but he carefully hovered a hand over his belt to pretend he had one; that's what it was all about. Show, right?
"Ooohho good, so we know your eyes work!" Seven called out over his shoulder, addressing the woman that he could hear talking. "So you should also be able to see what we're not sneaking up on you." The Gamma sounded friendly enough, at least for now. "So don't you think it's a little rude to not come out and say hi?"
He didn't know how many were hiding in there, but it was a good bet there was more than just this woman here.

[Beta X entering from the Lighthouse Hiding thread]
A mechanical crack of the neck put BX's muscles at ease...somewhat. Information. Gather it. Information. The beta had to remind herself not to collect them yet. "Understood and noted" she replied to B7. The call for aid seemed unfortunate in that X thought she was enough to take on a mere few figures, but to watch them all assault these bodies with multiple weapons... so beautiful~... she'd call for the others.
calculating calculating...
Slipping into view shortly after B7, X made it certain that she was only now seen by the olive figures. She stayed by the right side of the one the other betas called "Boss" and observed her keeping her dagger at the ready. Simply for appearance sake, X mirrored the the boss by gripping the near end of her mace and resting the handle within the groove of her right shoulder.
She cocked her head to one side and observed the feeble...males?... titled Gamma2 and 7 by their markings. "Hi..."

((Gamma Four entering from Travelling))
Gamma Four was trailing along the group, just behind Seven acting as a self-appointed rear guard. Of course being the rear guard worked better if you were actually guarding. When Two had asked if they saw anything, Four had turned her back, looking in front of them instead. Her mistake.
The stranger's voice made her spin around, her dagger flashing in her hand. She was ready to fight if it came down to it, four against one weren't bad odds. And then she glanced behind her and realized they were only a group of three. What happened to the fourth, what numbers was he...Ten? She only let herself worry for a moment before she focused her gaze on the stranger, she didn't like her already.
She didn't have any witty banter, or demanding comments. She let the other two in the group speak, instead taking a moment to inspect the fog. She had a feeling that if there actually were more of them that was where they were hiding. Unfortunately she couldn't see through the thick mist. Eyes moved back to their ambassador wondering how quickly they could take her out if it came down to it. And then another one stepped up beside the first. Damn it. Things just got more complicated.

[Lolol, A GUN? GUYS, COME PROTECT BOSS <- Legitimate reason to not be hidden! If you guys see a need to attack, go ahead. I guess you could always flee and return. |D]
"Whoa whoa whoaaa, look who's nervous," She laughed, gesturing at the gun in Gamma Two's hand, "Not very fair, is it? To point a gun at someone with a dagger?" She was jesting of course, and it was rather obvious from her tone of voice; like anything on this island had been fair to them.
"You did answer the question though," She continued, her tone serious again as she eyed the Olive trio; her group probably outnumber them 2 to 1; there's nothing to worry about, even if they tried anything weird, "We came from the cornfield... Shall we call a truce in favor of exchanging information? Or would you rather see how many friends I have with me?"
Okay, not really friends. More like people with balls, luck and/or are willingly being her meat shield - what a great team they make.
"Oh, I didn't see you, hiding behind there," She rolled her eyes at Gamma Seven before turning to look at Beta Ten, giving her a nod of greeting, "Well, two of us came to say hi. Don't be stupid - it pays to be careful... I'm sure even you know that. Who knows if you would attack us? You'll meet the rest later, hopefully not with one of them shooting you in the face... So, truce?"
She was just really tired and in need of sleep...

yII wasn't too amused with the joke bVII tossed out there. The situation was a little too tense for that. One wrong move from either side and a brawl was likely to ensue. Another beta came out to show themselves, which had him wondering just how many of them were here. Apparently, they had come from the cornfields, however.
In any case, they weren't attacking yet. Information in itself sounded nice enough, but he was still apprehensive of the betas' intentions.
"We're from the abandoned towns," he replied before giving the other two gammas a glance.
Lowering his gun slightly, he stared at the leading beta for some time.
"And how are we to know you won't go and try to off us once we have our backs turned?"

B3 decided that now that weapons were being brandished it was a good idea to keep the others from thinking they outnumbered the blues - so when the third person appeared three stood up in the fog and came forward to reveal herself to the group as well.
"you won't...and neither will we but I'd like to believe that some of us still operate on a less animalistic nature and would rather exchange information and refrain from unnecessary bloodshed"

"HAHAHA!!!" the beta couldn't help but laugh at the mentioning of attack. She lowered her mace and kept it idle at her side.
"because it's only fun when you're looking at me..." the poisonous slither of her words vented in one tone as she responded to Gamma2. It was a sad realization when she couldn't actually see into the eyes of her foes, but their bodily reactions would just have to do. Darn masks...
"We're here to know more about the whys. That is all..."

"No promises," She simply replied with a shrug, flopping down on the ground in front of where the fog was most thick, in case she had to retreat back into it, "I would promise, but that would be lying and giving you false hope and I'm not into that. However, I'm sure you want info as much as we do, so I'm sure the truce will last at least until then. Better then nothing, wouldn't you agree?"
She mentally agreed with herself anyway.
Her attention turned to Beta Three when she revealed herself, nodding at her comrade, "Exactly. We can at least promise that much, I suppose." She was sure everyone would benefit from a rest from fighting anyway... Beta Ten agreed as well, and she had been the most gung ho one so far! Looking around, she realized that it was a pretty good place to rest; near to thick fog for quick escape and all that.
"Beta Ten and Three, shall we make this our camp site for the day? Night? I can't tell anymore but I know I need sleep," She looked up at the other Betas, "I'm sure the others would appreciate it."
Mostly her though. She gets to sleep first, like a boss. And they better protect her like a boss or she's stabbing them in their sleep. Seriously.

"Noted" was all X said in response to B7. She crouched into a kneel. A sitting position was not as easy to spring into action from, so this would suffice. Adrenaline. Her magic. This was what X would depend on if the time arose for her to reap her delights.
To rest....to attackno.to savor... both were a feed of some sort to what she ached for one way or the other.

Another beta revealed herself and now yII knew they were at the very least equal in numbers unless more were hiding, which was fairly possible. Even so, at this point the fight would likely end up with heavy casualties on both sides. He didn't want to lead his group to their deaths..
That aside, he was exhausted as well. Constantly being alert and on his toes was incredibly wearisome. Oh what he would give to have a bed to just crash on without having to worry he'd be killed in his sleep.
Just five more days. Five more days to be one of the thirteen...
Though his eyes narrowed at bX's words, he kept his attention towards bVII and lowered his gun the rest of the way. He did not put it away, however.
"Fine. A truce.. for now," he said before glancing at the other two with him. Hopefully they would stay on their guards with the beta team around. Even so, not having to fight in the meantime was something.

[Beta-6 entering from Hiding]
Bix stepped out of the fog only to find Boss already lounging, slightly, on the ground. There were also 3 people wearing olive drab in front of them. Things seemed tense and weapons were out. Luckily, Bix had not put down or packed away his own gun yet so it was still clutched in hand.
For once he kept his mouth shut and tried his best to stand tall. He was trying not to look useless and instead use his height to look imposing.
Unfortunately it wasn't the most successful effort. He still sort of looked like a strong wind could blow him away.
Of course as soon as he heard the word 'Truce' he let out a relieved snorted breath and collapsed in a heap on the ground.
"Thank Goooooooooooooooooood."
