i know its been a while, but with a VERY busy life atm (doing two years of college in one year + Uni applications and projects + personal projects + my job) ive had little time for gaia.
However, i felt i should tell you lot about a project i started a while back and am now working on again. I want to stand out among Steampunks, and ive designed and created part of my steampunk outfit now. its a customised waistcoat, which i have cut in half, and attached a pair of belts to (this is however just a mockup i made a few months back) to make it. i am debating whether to dub it the Half-Waistcoat or the Semivest...
The final version will be made with a higher quality waistcoat (not a cheapo one that i got two years back like this one haha) and will have the straps and buckles rivetted in, as well as being stitched up at the back where i cut it to make it, and will also feature an extra pocket/pouch and a leather and elastic strap for keeping phials and potions in, on the breast, and will hopefully look something like this (a design for a character im working on for a Games Design side project im working on at the moment in my rare moments of free time) i also plan to make the shirt too! ^_^
also, while wandering round the Banbury Market earlier today, i found this; a DieCast Capgun Revolver, for a fiver, which is made of good quality metal and feels good and solid biggrin
the same stall had a high-quality leather belt and holster which im going to buy next week to modify like this belt by Marcus Stratus on DeviantART.
