He had been traveling so far and he needed a rest. His father had been nagging him for days now and had finally shut up for a little bit-leaving Buuk alone for a brief moment of time. So he walked, his head down and his eyes half lidded. He was tired. And he felt funny. He stopped to pause, rubbing a paw over his dirty face. "Bleeeeeh." He sighed, rubbing harder. He felt a desire to roll on the ground.
So with a Flop he was on his back and was rolling.

She was very close to the border. She wasn't QUITE there yet, but she was very close. The bushes kept calling out little warnings to Raziya, telling her that she couldn't go much further, but she was a cub on a mission! She was out to find another bush, one that was supposed to be growing here-- She stopped as she caught sight of a male lion rolling on the ground and jumped behind the nearest bush, her big blue eyes peering through the limbs, her tail--like always--sticking out the side, flicking back and forth obviously as she tried to hide.

He rubbed his head hard on the ground, his mane going all which-a-way. He smiled contentedly, as this was the first time in a while he was really alone. His red eyes blinked a few times, trying to figure out what he was seeing. There were bushes-yes... but one seemed to move. He stopped, his paws in the air and his body contorted into an 's' shape.
Then he could clearly see a lion cub, green as the bushes themselves, and strangely marked. He blinked a few times. "Hello?" He said aloud, sort of startled that someone else was around here... and it wasn't his father. He didn't move; watching the tail flip around. "Uh... I can see your tail."

"Bushes don't have tails," a childish little girl's voice replied from the bush. Although the tail was still flicking back and forth in plain sight. "There's only us bushes here!" she added, since it obviously wasn't clear enough.
He was so big and handsome, she thought, trying to hunker into the bush even better. Who was he? Was he a stranger from far off lands? She'd never seen him in the pride before, and she had seen--
Not many lions at all, now that she thought about it.

He wrinkled his forehead at the stranger-cubs words. "Oh. Well you indeed-" He lifted a paw and pointed at her. "-have a tail...' He said with a grin, rolling over and sitting up on his elbows. He cocked his head, observing the child for a moment. Why was she out here all on her lonesome? He cast a look sideways for a moment; wondering when his father would show his face. Not like anyone saw his father but himself-so he supposed.
"Where are we at little bush with a tail?" He asked, leaning his chin in his paw and his elbow on the ground-looking entertained. What a strange child, calling herself a bush. "I'm buuk...."

"We're in Kizi--krazi--Kizingoooo-zaa," she said, stumbling over the words and making a face as her tongue got stuck on the "o". "If I wasn't a bush... with a tail... I would be Raziya," she told him, her tail stopping its flicking for a moment before starting up again.
"Are you a prince from a distant pride?" she asked curiously. She seemed quite content to conduct the entire conversation from the bush.

Buuk cocked his eyebrow at her, wrinkling his nose. She certainly was an interesting one. Such a strange color and the way she just, hung inside that bush like a little leaf... was... interesting. He coughed, rubbing his nose against his forepaw, before looking closer at her. Listening to her words.
"The Kizingozaaa? I have never heard of em." He said, looking around and to the sides, hoping to spot someone older here... or perhaps his father. "Well... Hello Raziya." He nodded. "I am looking for a place for me and my father to stay...... though I don't know where he is..." He frowned.
"Naw... I ain't no prince... just me... I came from the pride lands... "

"The pridelands?" she asked, her head popping out of the bush as if she had heard something extremely important, and wanted to learn more. "What's... the pridelands?" she asked, completely blowing the impression that they would have a deep, meaningful conversation about someplace far away that she'd heard of, but never been.
But at least she had two parts of her body outside of the bush this time!

He sort of chuckled. Well... how to explain the pride lands. Not that each and every pride was it's own 'pride lands'. He sat in thought; wondering how to explain it. "Well... it's like another pride... just... called the pride lands." He said, looking a bit satisfied with that answer.

"Really?" she asked excitedly. "Do they have all sorts of different muses, too? And do they speak to bushes? Are the bushes there nice, too? I really like the bushes here, they're so friendly and they tell me that I'm beautiful!" she told him joyfully. "Oh, I want to meet the bushes in other prides! I bet they know all sorts of interesting things!" She looked at him. "Have you talked to the bushes?"

He gazed at her for a long hard moment. Maybe she was dropped on her head as a cub. Why would she talk to Bushes? He paused to look at the closest one; his red eyes half lidded in thought. "Bushes huh..." He said softly; his tail tuft lightly swaying. He wondered if his father led him to this pride only to leave him in the midst of a cub that spoke to bushes... and they spoke to her back?
"I've never talked to bushes before..." He stood up and began to walk deeper into the pride lands; at least that was what he guessed. He was curious of this place; why this cub talked to bushes... something about this place drug her in.

"Oh that's such a sad, sad, saaaaad thing," Raziya said, looking truly sad for him. Even her tail drooped at the thought of not talking to bushes. Some of her very best friends were bushes! "But... you can always talk to our bushes!" she said, cheering right back up. "Or maybe you'll talk to something else! There's lots of things to talk to around here, it's marv-if-ilous!" she declared happily, smiling brilliantly at him.

He just sort of shrugged, not sure if he felt sadness at not talking to bushes. He never felt compelled too. He just... well... talked to himself and his father. Wait, was that the same thing? He got a sort of strange look on his face, blinking at nothing before realizing he lost himself for a moment. "Oh... well... you know." He said simply, not really... sure what was... going on. He licked his lips. "So hey, who would I have to talk to to know about this place more... and to know more about these bushes?"
He lifted his head and gazed around, strangely interested in this place.

"Oh, you need to go that way!" Raziya said, pointing into the pride with a paw. "There's lots of lions there for you to talk to about talking to things! They've done it much, much, muuuuch longer than I have, too, so they can give you lots of advice!"
Forgetting completely about the bush she had been going to see, she waited for him to lead so she could follow him, jumping from bush to bush to hide behind.

Bukk nodded lightly, excited that perhaps he could get to know more about this place, why this child talked to bushes and why he felt so inclined to talk to himself... er... his father. He smiled, "shall we go together?" He said, inclining his head before beginning to talk where she had indicated. "I have to say you may be younger than they are, but you are very experienced! I have learned a lot. I will think of you when I look at any bushes."
He looked down at her and winked as they neared.
