It seems that the fog has all but disappeared, at least enough for a pathway to have unfolded from your destination towards other marked areas. Perhaps it is time to... expand territory. ((OOC: HOW 2 TRAVEL:Traveling between suforum locations is now enabled. Please follow the rules below in order to move subforum locations. Failure to use this subforum properly will result in a temporary rp suspension from the event.
- For EVERY person who wants to travel, they must post their character in this thread. This will put them in a TRAVELING suspended phase.
- Please make sure to exit post your thread before posting in this traveling thread.
- Simply post below in this thread a simple rp post with also your character's destination in mind ie: where are they heading? You can duo-post with someone else below and/or interact with someone traveling with you below, if you are headed towards the same location
- It will take 12 ooc hours (approx 4 IC hours) to get from one location to the other, you must stay in this thread for 12 OOC HOURS, you can rp it out with your 'travel buddies' if you want, only if you are headed to the same location.
- AFTER 12 OOC (real time) hours have passed, you may now rp your exit post from this thread and enter into your new subforums destination. Simply start a thread or invade a base camp, join the events, whatever you prefer to do in the new thread.
- Any travel to any destination as marked below, it will still require the same process as above (you can ONLY travel to these four locations)
- Your character can only head towards:
- The Beach
- The Cornfields
- The Abandoned Town
- The Lighthouse
- Everywhere else, the fog is still too thick to travel towards! Have a safe traveling!

[Beta Seven entering from Boss Battle thread!]
"Seems almost too convenient," Beta Seven muttered to nobody in particular as she started down the path from the cornfields. Now that the fog was not as thick, she was able to locate the path that would take her (and her "group") to the lighthouse. With flaming, talking, magic-wielding giant horse-things, respawning dead peeps and 'being trapped on an island with 7 days to survive', she wouldn't be surprised if the fog on the island was being controlled by someone...
In fact, nothing short of 'waking up and realizing that this was all a twisted nightmare' would surprise her, probably.

She had to agree with Sevens muttered statement as she followed her out of the cornfield onto the path, it was creepy really the way the fog which had seemed so incredibly dense before had lifted so quickly...but then considering the island had talking horses from hell on it she supposed odd weather patterns wan't that much of a stretch.
They had decided to head towards the lighthouse - though three had no idea what they might find there moving in a group seemed safer and really other then sitting in the battlefield back there she didn't have anything else to do. Better to keep moving right? Sure it sounded good to her. "As long as we don't run across another of those blasted horses...I'll be happy" She remarked wryly.

BX kept to the front of the group heading toward the lighthouse with B7 and B3. When they would reach their destination, she wanted to be one of the first to observe and adore her new playmates. The corn was really quite tall and impossible to see over, but at least the fog had lessened on this path.
"I wouldn't be surprised if the horse had some kind of fog control... if they can fade in and out like that, it seems completely plausible. If possible, I'd rather avoid non-human apparitions as well. Let's stick with other humans." It was a joke- X had made a joke in a comical tone. Whether it was meant to be funny for others or just herself was not definable.

Bix stuck close with his fellow Betas. He only glanced behind him a moment to see if Before was following him. They were headed to the Lighthouse in hope of gaining a little more perspective on this whole situation.
"What kind of freaky s**t.." The others were talking but he was muttering complaints since he'd gotten here. Apparently things with super powers and magical mist were not his cup of tea. Not when they seemed to be real.

"You guuuuuuuys!! Wait for meeeeeee!!!" Before yelled as he charged after Cheese, Teeth, Bix and Boss. He was following them to the Lighthouse but had worried they'd gotten too far ahead that he was running like was on fire (not knowing how close he came to be under fire). And in Before fashion, he tripped on his own feet, and face-planted.
"I'm okay!" He assured them through the gas mask.

[Beta I is entering from base tent)
Leo struting her way along, Beta I was a tad unsure of where she was headed. Until she ran into a few of her kind. "I see you all are no worse off then before." She bowed. "Ah...I don't think we had much time to bond, but if you don't mind, I would like to travel along side you." Without knowing it, Beta I would be heading for the lighthouse. Not that if she knew it she would care. She wouldn't. Lighthouse was higher ground. Advantageous in battle.
"What became of the battle. I...don't recall it ending well for me."

X raised an eyebrow at the blue suited figure that seemed to come out of nowhere and address her and the other blue kin. How was this form familiar...
ah, yes~... X had seen B1 fall and took her medkit for potential use later on. Well, it seemed like this revived beta wouldn't last long without some sort of aid. Who knows. Maybe this one will want to ravage a few foes as well out of sheer spite. Grinning under her mask, X made a decision and she was sticking by it; she'd return the kit.
Opening her pack, X reached in and fished out the extra medkit and offered it back to B1. "This was yours. It's only fair as you obviously have not died. As for the battle..." X didn't finish her sentence.
[BX is returning the medkit she took from B1 back to B1]

Beta 1 looked from fellow blue comrade and smiled. granted the smile was unseen behind the mask, but it was there. "I am glad it did not fall into enemy hands. You have my thanks for returning it to me." placing her re-acquired medkit in her bad, Beta I nodded. "Truthfully, I thought I had died, but found that strangely...not the case. Regardless, I am here now. Did any others fall in battle? Maybe they were much like myself."
She recalled the other one dying before her, but..very little after. It was just a big..gap. A blur.
"This place, where ever we are, gets stranger by the second."

"Get up, Beta Four, don't slow us down," A soft sigh escaped her lips as she continued on her way. How long had they been walking? The lighthouse was now in sight... Just a bit more...
When Beta One joined them, Beta Seven (also somehow known as Boss by now due top Beta Four's need to give out nicknames) paused, stopping in her tracks to stare at the newcomer for a moment.
"Seems like you came back from the dead too, huh?" She didn't sound surprised, although a part of her was still wondering how it happened. Dead men are supposed to stay dead! Or at least, they were supposed to, under normal circumstances. These were no 'normal circumstances'. After Beta Ten/X gave up the medikit, she decided to take over from her comrade in explaining the situation.
"In a nutshell, the horse-thing wanted us to kneel to it LITERALLY," She couldn't help but twitch when she said that, like it was the stupidest thing they had to do so far, "And told us that only one person can stand to claim the pendent. Then it changed its mind and left us with the pendent, asking us to race for it. When we left, people were still trying to reach it - whether its magic or just a trick, no matter how fast you run, its still out of reach."
She shrugged before turning around to resume walking down the path leading to the lighthouse. She wasn't looking at anyone as she continued, but it was probably still directed to Beta One, "So we decided to go to the lighthouse. See what we can find there and hope nothing kills us - we might have to bloody our hands again though. Better grow some balls..."

Beta Four scrambled to his feet, doing his best to do as Boss asked. Namely not slowing them down and keep up. He was in the process of dusting himself off when Beta 1 arrived and Before let out a whoop of... a mixture of admiration, delight, and wtf. "Somebody!!!" He cried out, throwing his hands in the air (and was thoroughly tempted to shake them like he just don't care but because he did care, no shaking was done). "Your body and After's disappeared when you guys died but then After came back and all the stuff Boss said happen happened so I never got to ask but where'd you go after you died?"
Was it a tactless question? Probably. Before didn't remember if he was a polite person before all this but he figured if they were all going to die anyway, why not ask what he wanted to ask while he could? "Oh! I'm Before, that's Bix-" he gestured to B6 then B3, "That's Cheese, Teeth gave you back you medikit, aaaaand Boss just got you caught up."
What? Introductions were necessary! :ccccc Never mind that their designations were clearly visible. It's possible Before just liked the sound of his own voice. Very possible.

Beta I took this in stride. Or rather, they couldn't see that fact she was giving them a 'WTF face' behind her mask. "Somebody?" She looked around herself a tad confused until it clicked. "Oh. You were addressing me. I'd prefer Beta I for simplicity's sake. Calling someone Somebody when they really could be anybody or a just another nobody is a tad confusing." So was that mouthful. "But, to be frank, I don't know. One second I was fighting..another I was in the base tent."
Shrugging, she nodded. "Anyway, I am glad to see a few of us manage to get away rather un-harmed."

B3 - who was now Cheese thanks to Before once more grimaced at the nickname but didn't argue with it, really there didn't seem to be much point and given the circumstances they were in one name was as good as any other right? "I wouldn't bother pointing that out to him" She told B1 "He'll come up with a name for you eventually" She added.
"But Boss pretty much just gave you the run down, there were a few more who fell who haven't returned..but maybe they showed up elsewhere" She added with a slight shrug, that was the premise she was deciding to work on anyways now that one more person had shown up from out of the blue.

"So if you die.. you just go back to base?" Bix shuffled along with the rest of the group, unsure of how long they were walking but hoping they got there soon. "Whoever did this to us seems to be making an effort to desensitizing us to death."
He sniffled his runny nose again under his mask. "But it's probably not that easy. But I'm sure once people think they will just come back they won't think it's such a big deal to just murder each other."
The whiney Beta started to rant out loud. "It's really not fair you know! I bet they lied to us. I don't think I would sign up for this. DO I SEEM LIKE I WOULD SIGN UP FOR THIS?!" A low whine escaped him as he took a breath. "Plus.. how many times do you think you can die and come back? There's got to be a time where dead means dead. Even in games you can't get infinite lives!"
That was the first reference he'd made to anything from 'real life'. He didn't even remember real life but he remembered the idea of games. At least the general idea. He huffed in frustration, his idle hand now fiddling with the edge of his sleeve. It was a nervous movement.
Dammit.. were they there yet?!
He heard his phone buzzing and saw it light up blue in the indistinguishable light of the island. "We lived a day guys. Congrats." There was nothing positive about his tone but he suddenly felt tired knowing a full 24 hours had passed. "Is it weird that I haven't been hungry or anything?"
The last bit of the message, something about watching the shadows, made him warily cast an eye around their travelling group. Well s**t.. as if he didn't have ENOUGH to worry about already.
(( I know my 12 hours has past but I figured I would wait until the whole group had hit the time limit as well. I also edited for Cell Phone reaction))

Three glanced at Bix when he started to rant - he did raise some unnerving points and she cast a glance at those she was walking along with - but maybe he was right, maybe she was being desensitized I mean shouldn't she be more upset about the deaths she had seen? Maybe she was in a shock of some sort...some survival instinct or whatever taking over and she'd grieve afterwards..isn't that what happened to soldiers in wars or people lost together in the woods and such? She had no idea..but it sounded good.
"I don't know Bix, I don't remember what type of person I was before" She told him truthfully "But I know I don't want to find out how many times dead actually equals dead...and I'm willing to bet no one else here does either...look the guy said that thirteen people could survive this so if we keep our wits and don't decide to run about murdering each other...our group can survive along with some other random folks out there" She pointed out before checking her own phone.
"We already knew here were random creepy monsters...we dealt with the death horse we can deal with whatever these shadows are too - honestly I'm more concerned with meeting another traveling group and the fact that there is someone watching us..like we're an experiment or something.."That particular thought made her shudder slightly.
