"And the raven quote: Nevermore." Thats the only poem I remember. But all you poets out there probably remember more and have your very own poem! The contest will end on the 30th of April. Then it will be turned so that you may vote for the winner! Obey the rules or you will be disqualified!

Rules:

1) Do not post questions in here. PM ME!

2) Do not post opinions in here. You can do that after all the entries are in.

3) Only post your Poem and that is it.

4) You are only allowed 1 Poem. (if you find that you make one better than the one you entered just edit your post to switch it out before the 30th.)

5) Can be any length but please... >_> Do not go over 300 words if that is even possible.

6) Your Poem could be about anything. Any kind of genre you want people!

7) It can be any type of poem you want: Haiku, uh...uh... Well you get it I guess.

I will say this again: Post your entries or you edits before 9:00pm California time on April 30th! Late entries will be deleted no matter how good they are! No exceptions! After all the entries are up I will set this thread up to be a voting thread to vote for the winner!

My dearest friend, my most beautiful and darkest shadow. You help me in my most darkest times and the brightest times and you dare to understand me with what burdens inside my heart. You love all and see all like a true friend. You're more beautiful than the reddest, most open rose in all gardens. You're a wonderful flower that stands out of the garden and the sun and moon smiles upon every day to night. You make the bravest look like cowards with tails between thy legs. You and you alone are the one who makes me smile the most and the one I have more fun with. No immortal shall separate our friendship and love for each other for it is greater than any power from the darkest and deepest parts of hell to the brightest and highest parts of heaven. You're smiles and hugs are like the warmth and comfort of the warm blankets of the sun. Yet, you're beauty is as beautiful and elegant as the moon herself when she is at her fullest. She tends to her constellations gently and with much love as you do to loved ones. You are more special than anyone to me. My one and only wish that I dare to make is that we remain friends and be there for each other now and in the future.
