So I'm trying to breed the moves Stealth Rock and Spikes into my Ferroseed. I bred a female seed with my male Gigalith to get a female Ferroseed that knows Stealth Rock. Then I bred that one with a male Cacturne but the hatched seed only knew Spikes, along with useless other moves. No Stealth Rock. What did I do wrong and what do I need to do to breed both moves into my Ferroseed?
So I fixed my previous problem. I'm just gonna be general now:
What unconventional moves are you breeding into your pokemon and why?

What pokemon did you breed with what to get that Ferroseed with Stealth and Spikes?
I'm trying to do the same thing and breeding moves is something new to me.

I bred cacturne (m) and ferroseed (f) to get a ferroseed (m) knowing spikes.
I then bred ferroseed (m) with a dwebble (f) to get a dwebble (m) knowing spikes
grew dwebble (m) to level 24 so that it knew both stealth rock AND spikes
bred dwebble (m) with ferroseed (f) for ferroseed (m/f) knowing sprike AND stealth rock.
took me about 3 hours (roughly) since it took 15 minutes each to hatch eggs and i ran into females when i needed males.

Now if the Ferroseed that knows spikes and stealth rock breeds with another ferroseed does the new ferrroseed get those moves as well?

 This is my ruin...I want a Crobat that knows Heat Wave but I can't get one on White. Even my shadow grows dim...

Zaltaro Now if the Ferroseed that knows spikes and stealth rock breeds with another ferroseed does the new ferrroseed get those moves as well? If the ferroseed knowing stealth rock/spikes is male and is bred with a female ferroseed then yes, any offspring will know those moves. Only males can pass on movesets. The Shockingly Anonymous I want a Crobat that knows Heat Wave but I can't get one on White. Unfortunate.

Im going for a team that uses stealth rock and posins spikes as well as weather damge combined with switching the opponents mopokemon out type of set up. plus a few moves that punish those for using moves that change power up stats and such.

Figured out easier way. Capture Pineco + Capture Dwebble Move tutor Pineco-Relearn Spikes Evolve Dwebble+Stealth Rock Breed.
