Rei came back through the forest carrying a satchle filled with some fruits. "Seth what are you doing?" Rei asked softly as she came back to him with a fire. She went over to him and set the bag of fruits down sitting down beside the fire. "Do you want me to help?" she asked smiling at him little seth. She had only been with him two years now, but she loved him as her own family.

"Here" she said helping him out tending to the fire. She then showed him how to stack the wood next time so it would be a better fire. "Then you start it like this" she said softly showing him what to do. She then placed a hand on the top of his head smiling down at him. "Here" she said pulling out a fruit from the satchle. "It's good for you and it should get you by until the fish is done" she said handing him a fruit.

"Please be careful Seth remember what happened last time" she said softly remembering he had fallen once one day because the branch was unstable. She turned the fish on the fire and watched them as they cooked. After a few minutes she called to Seth. "Seth the fish is done" she said softly "Are you ready to move soon Seth?" she asked him. Since she was a traveler she always moved from place to place and not stayed in a single one.

Rei could see the sadness in his eyes. "It's ok I'll be right here with you" she said placing a hand on his shoulder. Her head then snapped up hearing an awful sound and branches comeing down. Rei had time to grab hold of Seth and her weapon and jump out of the way. She jumped back holding Seth close to her. She set him down and stood in front of him. A monster...tch looks like we will be moving sooner than I thought She thought to herself before the monster swiped a large paw her way. This monster was in the shape of a dog and it was quite large. "Seth hide" she shouted at him. She then yelled as she swung her weapon towards the beasts paw. She had the strength to stop it her feet sliding a little on the ground.

Rei took her weapon and used her abilities to let the chain links grow out. It was large enough to slip around the beasts paw. She did so and twisted her weapon making the links tight around it and with her strength she lifted it up and over her body smashing it into the ground. The monster whimpered as it hit the ground. It was only stunned for the time being. Rei removed her weapon and ran toward Seth. She picked him up and ran away from the area. After a while of running they stopped. She set Seth down and looked at him kneeling down in front of him. "Are you ok?" she asked softly moving her hand to his cheek.

Rei noticed him crying and she wraped her arms around him pulling him close holding him tightly. "it's ok Seth I won't let anything hurt you" she said softly. She comforted him until he stopped crying and she set him down. "We're going to have to leave sooner than I thought stay close to me ok" she said softly. She stood up and started walking through the woods toward the exit of the woods.

Rei smiled and laughed when she saw it was a bunny. "It's ok Seth I'm right here nothing is ever going to harm you while I'm around" she said as if making a promise to him. She would too since he was her family now. She lost her family when she was little and she wouldn't lose her new found family.
