The morning brought with it an early riser; Farrah enjoyed seeing the sun rise and set in the sky, and often stayed up long enough to watch it and woke early enough to see it again. One of the few rituals she attended to religiously, Farrah believed that somehow, seeing the sun arise renewed the hope in her heart. Though for what, it was anyone's guess. She had an ideal family, now. Her mate, and her harem-sister, and soon, with the blessing of a passing God, perhaps even cubs of her own.

Smiling as she watched the sun rise, Farrah pondered a visit on her brother. Though, she assumed, Ilyas would probably appreciate some privacy with his banus now that his spinster of a sister was out of the den. Briefly she entertained the notion of finding her father, but knew it was likely to be futile. Faiz was a busy lion, and she didn't like the idea of pestering him simply out of boredom.

Shaking the thoughts out of her head, Farrah began the trek from her new home to the watering hole. Perhaps something there would arouse her interest.

The dark colored lioness settled just at the edge of the water, peering at her reflection with a curiously blank expression on her face. She allowed her thoughts to wander in the peace of the quiet pre-bustle hours within Ukuucha'wafalme. Soon, cubs would be running hither tither with their mothers chasing behind, and she wanted to enjoy the peace while she could.
