Chaonis woke up in a bit of a daze. He groaned and tried to roll over, as he often did in bed, to go back to sleep. But he found himself unable to do that. Wincing, he opened one eye and let the thick fog that had been clinging to his mind clear a bit as he took in his situation.
He had been in a fight with that nega chick, and the building had half come down. Unfortunately, it had been the half he was one, rather than what he was trying to do. He remembered her teleporting away, regardless. What a sissy!
Like he could blame her for not wanting to stick around and get trapped under rubble with him.
Looking up, one of the few directions he could properly look in, he saw that most of the building was still above him, rumbling ominously. There were no wails of sirens, no flashing lights. He could only assume no one had called the cops in this part of town. Had anyone even noticed the place come down? Finding that unlikely, he imagined he had to get out of there as fast as possible.
Except he was stuck on his stomach, able to turn his head over his shoulder and look around, but unable to pull himself free or get himself into any good position to push the rubble from on top of him. Nothing felt broken, though blood was running down the side of his face. He was pinned. Grumping, he moved to pull out his phone, searching his mind for options. He didn't want to try Foramen because the last time they had seen each other was under awesome circumstances, and this was decidedly less so. Rosalind was a definite no. He had already decided who he was contacting before he really thought any of those thing, though, hoping Asclepius was powered up.

Sirius had been out, one of those getting away from torturing the negaverse walks. She had seen the building come down and ran straight to it, of course she managed to beat the sirens. She had sat on top of a building for a while just looking at it trying to see if anyone was about, she saw no one, not even the red headed nega that had in a way caused the building to collapse.
She judged how far off the sirens were before she jumped down to investigate, if she could save at least one civilian by the time the police got here it would at least look partly good! She started moving some rubble about though goodness knows if anyone was there or even if they were whether they were alive.
"Hello? Anyone there?" She called out as innocently as she could. It seemed the senshi had the distraction she had been longing for! She wouldn't have time to think of some certain negas while digging out innocent people now!

Asclepius had not been in uniform for several days, between catching up on a few assignments and just frankly not wanting to feel any particular need to get out and hunt for bad guys. Tonight found her powered up and contemplating her phone, wondering if she had the drive or the energy to go back to her home planet to look around more. With a flash light. And perhaps some sort of weapon just to make herself feel safer. Just reaching for the buttons to key in the travelling code made her feel tired, though; probably not tonight.
Before she could put the phone down, though, Asclepius' senshi cell began to ring. Surprised and not expecting it, she nearly dropped it before fumbling it open.
Just like a regular cell phone, right? Except ... magical?
"Uh, hello?" the girl spoke into the receiver, then moved the phone away from her ear for a second to look at it, as though suddenly not certain which end to talk into. It looked normal enough, at least. "Hello?"

"There you are!" Chaonis snapped back into his phone, groaning as he tried to shift himself again. Nothing happening: he was thoroughly pinned. He half wondered if his legs were, in fact, broken and he had no idea. But he wasn't the kind to worry about that kind of stuff: the only thing he wanted was to get out of the rocks. What ifs and worst case scenarios were for other people to ponder.
"You took your damn time getting your phone," he whined, imagining she knew who it was already. "I'm stuck downtown somewhere, in an old building. You'll know it when you see it: it's the one masquerading as a bombed out s**t hole. Get over here and get me out!"
He wasn't in the mood for please and thank yous. In fact, his attitude was likely to put any idea of actually helping him out of someone's mind. His expression, a scowl, softened as he sighed.
"I think I might be hurt."
There, that would get her over there, right? He heard and felt someone approaching, though, and looked around as best he could. Another senshi? He couldn't see why a nega would come in and announce themselves. He hung up, quite rudely, and tried to push himself up a bit more, in an effort to be visible. The movement made his head spin.
"I'm over here!" he said, with the distinct thickness of someone battling the urge to throw up.

Sirius listened, hearing someone talking for a bit but then it seemed that the person heard her. She soon saw movement and that was enough to get her moving.
"What the hell happened?" She ran over to him and then looked at the mess. Part of her didn't actually want to know what happened in fact it seemed like he really got himself in something of a mess. What nega did this? Or did he? No she couldn't believe he had done this to himself, he would be a rather stupid senshi to have done that.
"Right lets try and get you out then... I am Sirius, senshi of canines and cadet of the blood moon court." She wasn't sure if he would get much of that but either way. She started moving some of the rubble that was trapping him where he was.

"I answered it before the second ring," Asclepius told him flatly. Chaonis was the first last person she wanted to hear from right now. But, well, when he said he needed help, or came close enough to doing so, the girl knew she could not just ignore him. Aside from inevitably having to hear about it from him later, her conscience just would not allow her.
"There are kind of a lot of runned-down buildings downtown, but ah, I'll try to find you," she told him. Without waiting for any further response, Asclepius hung up, and moved to the door that let out onto the small balcony outside her room. Then she leapt neatly over the railing, and took off towards downtown.
At least she could move quickly. She just hoped there would be no fighting required to get her ally out of whatever trouble he had gotten himself into. Asclepius recalled the mess he had made the first time she had met him, out in the park; had he knocked some rickety old building over onto himself with his waves of manly overkill?

"Ugh, questions later," Chaonis said, still grumpy. Could he be blamed? Half a building, he estimated, was on his legs. Of course, that was a healthy guess. He shook his head, motioning to the rubble.
"Sailor Chaonis, Senshi of Currently Being Crushed by Cement," or whatever else the building was composed of. He didn't look amused, though he had to fight the urge to smirk off. He couldn't help it, he enjoyed mockery as much as the next guy.
But the next guy was probably free of all things debris and rubble related.
"I can't get anything to move. It's got me pinned. Think you can Canine your way through this pile? Dig at it or something. Like there's a bone in there." He resisted further jokes along that line, though they were in his head. Very much so.
He hoped Asclepius would get there in a hurry, too, so they could get him out faster.

Sirius had started to remove rubble but it didn't take her long to stop and to sit and look down at the senshi who must have at least broken legs. There was no denying how tempting it was to stand on his leg and see how cocky he was then.
Instead she just sat and watched him.
"I am guessing about five minutes possibly less before the police get here." I am sure you are in no position to escape them so are we going to be nice or am I going to be leaving you here?
Yep she could be a b***h it seemed. She just didn't like having the piss taken out of her.

The cloud of dust was a great clue in finding the building. Once Asclepius got to the roofs, she found it with ease and made her way towards the spot. She had not been to that part of town before, as far as she could recall, but the completely fallen building proved to be an easy enough address to spot.
Particularly with the fleet of police cars approaching.
Asclepius stopped on the edge of the last roof overlooking the wreckage for a moment to catch her breath. Hopefully she would be able to get Chaonis out of here before things got any worse. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed, then jumped down to hunt down her ally.
... and found him, along with someone else.
Sliding down a slab of concrete to join them, Asclepius glanced between the seated stranger, and the trapped Chaonis, brushing her hands over her skirts. Why was the other girl just sitting here?
"Hopefully we're not waiting for anyone else," the Senshi of Medicine said with a frown as she moved over to Chaonis, and started trying to shift the debris pinning him down. Good that he was conscious, but they would still need to get him out of here as soon as possible -- and that meant not wasting time arguing with the other senshi if she was not planning to assist.
"Can you feel your legs?" she asked Chaonis. There would be time to snipe at him later, too. Silly superhero outfits or not, the present emergency was Asclepius' first priority.

Chaonis watched as Sirius moved to help him free. At least she was nice enough to do that. If he had encountered someone giving him that kind of attitude while pinned, he probably would have made a point to climb over them, then leave them behind. But he supposed that was the difference between him and most other senshi.
It took a lot to make him care about anything, and a little to put him off his desire to help anyone. If he felt insulted or disrespected, he would leave or make things more difficult for everyone around. A temper tantrum, maybe, in some eyes.
Chaonis would even call it that.
He took a breath as he felt air on his legs and the weight being pulled off. Everything started to tingle in a very unsavory way, worse than any pins and needles he had from being lazy, that was for sure.
"You would come all the way to stare at me in trouble and then just leave me? Such a tease. You could at least stick around to see if I'll thank you, or pay you back somehow, or something. I'm not saying I would, though. Not to get your hopes up or anything."
He forced a grin, then looked at Asclepius. He didn't show that he was glad to see her, though, of course, he was. He just didn't want her to know that, lest she think him a softie.
"I can feel them in a... weird way. Would you like to feel them?" He battled fear and, it seemed, pain with the same thing. Sarcasm and ill timed, mostly mean spirited comedy.

Sirius had to be fair moved a lot of the rubble already before she sat down, the other senshi arriving didn't make her move in the slightest. The fact that the one who had got himself stuck wasn't being so harsh to her she guessed they knew each other.
"Guessing you two know each other then." She didn't say much else, after all she had helped but he had rather grated on her nerves and really trying to annoy and insult someone who was freeing you generally isn't a good idea. Sirius wasn't really in the mood for his sarcasm and yes she was finding it offensive, though at the moment she was finding a lot more offensive then normal but they didn't know that and didn't need to.
"Try moving your legs or any other part of your body but your tongue. Also how did you get in this mess?" Sirius didn't know many nega's who would pull down a building on top of a senshi though if they had surely they would have stuck around to make sure he was dead?

"I would love to know how this happened, too," Asclepius agreed, looking back at Sirius. Keeping the rest of her features smooth, she directed her gaze briefly to the prone Chaonis, then rolled her eyes for Sirius' benefit. "I do know this one, and so I have a bit of an idea, but I don't want to assume unnecessarily without hearing the eyewitness's truth, first."
Then she turned her attention back to the injured senshi, looking for signs of blood around him. "If your legs feel weird, then I'll have to poke them," she told him. The armored pads of his uniform hopefully would not interfere too much; the Senshi of Medicine started gently prodding his legs, checking for broken bones. "Let me know if I hit anything that hurts."
"How long ago did you find him?" Asclepius asked, looking over her shoulder again at Sirius.

Chaonis grunted in response to the questioning, glad to be free of the rubble and just as keen on getting up as Sirius seemed. He knew she was making sure he was, in fact, able to do so. Under that gruff exterior was a heart of gold, and all that rot. He grinned at her, seeing the obvious evidence that his attitude was annoying her.
Unlike most people, it was what he liked to do. People were always most honest when they were annoyed, as far as he was concerned. Not that it mattered either way, and that certainly wasn't his main goal these days. Mostly, he had just slipped into the habit of mocking people for the hell of it, just to see how they reacted.
He kept the ones who could 'deal' with him, or who reacted with particular hilarity, as his friends. Regardless of their opinions on the matter.
"Oh, I'm fine," he said, when the Senshi of Medicine literally moved to touch his legs, "don't poke it! A little sore and I bet they're going to be black and blue, so I won't be wearing shorts any time soon. But I don't think they're broken. I'd be howling in pain, right?"
He, oddly enough, had not yet broken a bone while powered up. Some kind of miracle.
"And the building just decided to fall on me, okay? I don't know, you should interrogate it more than me," now he sounded grumpy. It wasn't something he wanted to talk about. Maybe he was embarrassed that he hadn't gotten the nega trapped, too.

Sirius just nodded as it was confirmed that the two of them knew each other. She took the moment to summon her phone and scan the two of them to keep them on record. Oh how she loved these phones!
"I found him a little while ago. The building made enough noise falling down. The police won't be long getting here so we need to move him at least away from here. If he can't walk or jump one of us will have to carry him." Sirius had learnt to be more practical about everything and lets face it they needed to do something soon. The police and media would be there soon and the last thing they needed would to be found and on the front of the papers in the morning.
"Right are you going to move or am I going to have to carry you?" She was getting a little anxious now, the sirens were going and people were starting to appear. "We have to go, now." She would then interrogate him, not the building afterwards to find out what actually happened. She couldn't imagine he blew up a building for the hell of it.

Asclepius finished her poking and stood up, looking around to see if any of the police were within sight yet. Then she looked down at Chaonis again and, a moment later, offered him a hand to help him to his feet.
"Not like we want to see your legs anyway," she told him, but still kept an arm ready just in case he needed extra support getting up. "You should be just fine, but if you need a hand walking, or either of us to carry you, it would not be unmanly of you to say so. Just think of how badly-off the world would be if you could never walk again?"
The Senshi of Medicine, looked back at Sirius, smiling faintly as the other senshi scanned her with her phone. She would have to scan her back as soon as she could be sure Chaonis could stand alright. Having presumably missed introductions, she offered, "I am Sailor Asclepius, by the way. I guess the little phone screen tells you that, though."
