((ENTERING FROM THE HIDING AREA.))
Theta Seven wasn't planning on going too far. In fact he just wanted to go just far enough so that they were no longer really hiding in the fog but being so lost and disoriented he wasn't sure where he was going to end up. It seemed that they would just end up in the same general area where they would no longer (hopefully) for now be attacked at least not by fog monsters that were out for their tasty-tasty ...whatever Fog Monsters wanted.
He paused not really seeming to take note that he was still linked with someone else though he hadn't really forgotten that she was there. He was, however, reveling a bit in the fact that they are still alive at the moment.
From behind his mask Theta Seven gazed around trying to get some form of bearings while attempting to plan. Thus far the plan consisted of 'getting the hell out of here' but perhaps there should be a bit more to the plan. Quietly he gazed behind him just to make doubly sure that Delta Nine was still following him and he wasn't grasping at air and just being disillusioned into pretending he caught onto her.

(( Entering thread from hiding area ))
Delta Nine was indeed still following Theta Seven, albeit slowly. It really wigged her out to think of all the creepy crawly monsters that were hanging out just waiting to attack either one of them. For crying out loud, she could have been killed out there! Okay, so she might be acting a little dramatic, but Delta Nine thought that she deserved to be a little dramatic.
As she usually (well, for as long as she could remember, anyway) did in a stressful situation, Delta Nine lifted the heel of her palm to her forehead and rubbed. "Theta Seven, I hate to say this but I really think I'm going to die out here." There was no going around that. Deep in her belly she could feel that fear just gnawing away at her insides, clawing for a way out. So far she'd been able to tamp it down, but...
Womanly hysterics, incoming.

They were both pretty torn up. Not too badly but there was some wear showing on both of them. He lightly released her hand and moved to grasp at her shoulders to try and keep her from going completely into the realm of weepy hysterics - he hoped. He wasn't sure how he was going to keep her from doing so but he really didn't want to see her cry for some weird reason. Her words seemed to strike a chord in him as he tilted her head.
"You're not going to go down without fighting and bringing some of them with you, are you? Because if you give up now, then that'd..." He paused trying to find something awesome and inspirational before he just settled for, "really suck. It'd suck a lot. Especially since you already survived a mega doom pony and that monster attack. We gotta make it through or least try really damn hard."
...We? Did he just say We?
Weird.
He went quiet and awaited to see what she would say in response.

((Entering from the pwn'd pwny thread!))
Gaaah . . . He was sure if he had to breathe in the fog, he'd probably choke. D-3 was ever glad for his gas mask, though he did wonder why he never felt the need to eat or drink, or even have to take a piss. It was nice though - less distractions.
That's what they like. Games without commercial breaks, the small, dark voice said to him, and chuckled.
"Meh." He hoped he had company behind or before him, and soon. It was easier to bring a smile about when there were others to talk it out with.
Strangely, though, not far ahead he eventually saw movement. Both teal and green coats, not far from each other. Was there another fight?
Another pendant already?
D-3 hastened to see what was up, only to see . . . the two of them conversing. Delta Nine he recognized from the base, the one that . . was that the one who had been curled up in the corner, forlorn? Or was that someone else?
He was already experiencing bad memory.
"Howdy," he said a bit cautiously upon arriving. Nothing was in his hands at the moment - his weapon was lodged within his backpack.

Delta Nine knew that Theta Seven was speaking the truth. She had to get a hold of herself. Freaking out wouldn't help either of them, even if it would feel really good. It would feel damn good. Lapsing into hysterics felt like the right thing to do right now. That was probably the shock talking, really.
"You're right," she mumbled, nodding her head. "We've come a long way already, and there's no reason to give up now." If she had been on her own, honestly, she would have given up immediately, but having Seven here, well.. it made her feel better. It made her feel... connected.
"Now what do we do?"

Theta Seven moved and hugged Delta Nine and nodded a bit. "Buck up. It'll be okay," he said to her quietly. Paused a moment as he added, "If something does happen..Wait for me, ya? Then we'll kick some a** together wherever we go when the end comes," he said trying to sound cheerful.
Then there was another voice and he nodded toward them once it was apparent that they weren't harmful.
He paused a bit when his phone went off and he let out a small curse under his breath as he checked it and saw that it was summoning him. Now he had to go? Now of all times. Seriously. He didn't want to leave Delta Nine behind but...
"I have to go..I don't want to know what'll happen if I don't. Delta Nine - I'll look for you as soon as I can. You stay safe and...Keep moving. Please..?"
He wasn't going to ask the other to look after her. It wasn't their responsibility. He waited for a moment for her to respond.

((Entering from boss fight thread, following Delta-Three, apparently XD)) She was scared of losing the flash of green that she'd seen in the fog in front of her, so stepped a little more quickly to catch up. What a disastor! Not only did she not get a punch in on the Theta squad when her squad mates needed her, but now she was going to be lost and on her own again!
Perfect. Just bloody perfect.
Wait a second. The green she had caught a glimpse of was becoming clearer. He or she or whoever must have stopped moving. She breathed a sigh of relief and caught up to stand beside the figure, then looked up, suddenly realising how much shorter she was then most of the people she'd seen thus far. It was Delta Three! Finally, a bit of luck. And there were two others as well. Another green, Delta nine. She didn't actually remember that one.... and one of the Thetas as well? She used an elbow to nudge at Delta Three and nodded towards the Theta. She was hoping he would give some subtle indication of what they should do towards the member of the other squad.

Delta Nine returned Theta Seven's hug. He was right, she had to stay calm.
When her phone went off, Delta Nine checked the text. She wanted to cry, wail, throw herself on the gorund and never stop bawling, but she didn't. Now was not the time. She had to pull herself together and DO this.
"I'll see you soon," she whispered, dropping her arms listlessly to the side. "You stay safe, Theta Seven. I'll see you again." The last was said reassuringly, mostly for her own sanity. Yes, she would see him again.
Turning her attention to the others who had approached, Delta Nine sighed heavily. She recognized Delta Three from the tent, but the other... she didn't recognize.
"We have to keep moving," she said to nobody in particular. "It's dangerous to stay in one place too long."

He nodded a bit to Delta Nine and didn't seem to make much notice of the new Delta or how quickly he was being outnumbered if something should happened. That didn't matter anymore as he hit the button and then suddenly he seemed to be gone from view.

((By the way, Sueesu, MY BAD FOR FORGETTING TO ADDRESS YOUR POST IN THE OTHER THREAD. OTL I totally meant to and then forgot amidst the angst.))
"Hmm? Ohey!" D-3 said to Delta Twelve when he saw the familiar figure (then again, they all looked pretty similar . . . Oh well!). He managed a wave to her as well before, about around the same time as Tealsy, his phone went off. Checking it, he expected maybe more news about the pendants.
Not in the least. He stared blankly at the red names indicated, his heart missing a beat.
Report to the Cove.
"Report to the cove . . ." He gulped. Was this good or bad? Why were only four of them being summoned?
He felt like the all-mighty deity on this island had just decided upon his sacrifices . . .
"Heh. Alright." He turned to his fellow Deltas and gave them a thumbs up. "Someone's a'callin' me, so I gotta see what's up. you two, stick together and watch each others' backs, alright? I'll find you when . . . when I find you." The smile in his voice cracked a little towards the end, but he didn't leave more room to break the image.
With that, D-3 hefted his backpack and followed after the Tealsy guy, hitting the button on his phone and disappearing soon after.

[Entering from pony of DOOOM thread]
Delta 5 had barely made it into the clearing in time to feel her phone ringing and then a few of the people there disappear before her eyes. What in the heck?! Where did they... wait... damn cell phone... it's ringing again isn't it... she sighed, reaching down and flipping it open to see the message there.
The Cove. Where the hell was that? And why only those four? Too many questions and right now she didn't want to think about it. Her team was still out there in the fog as far as she knew, but maybe some of these Deltas and a friendly Theta or two might want to team up... maybe. If they were going to be randomly taking off like this it was hard to decide if it was worth it to get into a team or not. But pushing down the fear that seemed to like to pop up at the worst moments, Delta 5 made her way over towards Delta 12 and Delta 9. "Hey there guys or gals... can never tell with these dang masks on." she started off, trying to make some light conversation since it seemed that 9 was having a hard time right now.

((No worries! I just missed getting into the fight too...I had my attack written up and was going to roll then saw Zoo's post)) As she studied the other two, her own cell phone went off as well, and like the others, she grabbed it to have a look at the message. What now? she wondered, with an inward groan. If this was another message to tell them that they were all going to die... She held the phone as close the the eyes of mask as she could to read the small print. Seriously? She shook her head and almost let out a growl of frustration. Two Deltas and Two Thetas, summoned to the Cove. It didn't bode well, in Delta Ones opinion. Not at all. When the Theta spoke, and then Delta Three as well, she felt her heart sink. Was she actually, just moments before, wondering if she should attack the strange Theta? What was wrong with her!? This creepy situation was already seeming to get to her, to mess with her, making her distrust almost everybody. She nodded at both the Theta and at Delta Three, managing to choke out, with determination steely in her voice "We will see you again! And don't worry, I've got Delta Nines back." She smirked, not that anybody could see, behind her mask, as she moved over to the other female Delta. "Be safe" She whispered, probably too quietly for the two that were leaving them to hear. Turning her attention now to Delta Nine, and now to Delta five who had joined them as well, she nodded. "Yes, we have to keep moving. But to where?" She wondered out loud. "This fog is so thick! We'll have to hold on to each other or one of us will get lost for sure..."
((Edited to include Delta 5))
((I'm actually heading out now for a few hours, but I will pop back in as soon as I get home))

Delta Nine crossed her arms over her chest, using her hands to rub her upper arms. Well, he was gone and here she was with Deltas Five, One and Three. From the sounds of it they were all female, and while that should have been comforting to Delta Nine, it really wasn't.
"I don't know where we should go," she said a bit emo 'life-is-so-hard-woe-is-me' type of way. "All I know is that I'm not going back into that fog." No way in hell. "There are monsters in there."
She really wanted to say to them that she had a gun and two-thirds of the time she knew how to use it, but these people were all she had right now, at least until Theta Seven came back.
IF Theta Seven came back.
WOE.

Delta 5 just sighed a little and made another attempt to run her hand over her forehead through the mask as if trying to stave off a headache. This was going to get interesting. Poor Delta 9 seemed to be having a bit of a panic attack or break down, though seeing two people disappear before them certainly hadn't helped her own fear issues... still feeling voices nagging in the back of her head.
"Ok, well I do know we can't stay here. The longer we just sit around, the better chance we have of getting surrounded by monsters or hostile team members. So how about we stay together and slowly work towards going somewhere... since I don't know if anyone knows where we are heading for anyways." Delta 5 said, stuffing down her fear and trying to 'take charge' or at least come up with a game plan before she ended up like 9.
"I don't think we have any rope unfortunately and the bandages from the first aid kit are too valuable to try and string together as a make shift rope. So... we could all just hold hands, as cheesy as it may sound." Then offering a hand to Delta 9 and Delta 1, not really sure what else to do at the moment. People were getting pulled here and there, so getting attached seemed like a bad idea... but if you didn't try trusting someone it could end up badly for everyone.

((I'm Delta One, not Delta Twelve XD))
Delta One just stared at Delta Nine and then shrugged. "At this point, I think going anywhere has to be better then just sitting here, waiting to be picked off." She reached out to pat Delta Nine gently on the back, worried that she was going to break down completely. She already told Delta Three that she had Delta Nine's back, and she wasn't planning on changing her mind about that anytime soon. But if she had a breakdown and refused to move...? What would Delta One do then? Would her conscious allow her to ditch what she might consider 'the weakest link'?
No, she couldn't do that. She had to prove she was better then that... Prove it to herself, anyways.
Nodding at Delta Five in agreement, she reached out and clasped the other females hand tight. It actually felt good to be with other women, and already she almost felt she could trust these two. "Nine, you coming?" She said, gently, not wanting to sound pushy. "We really need to keep moving....maybe we can find a safe place out of the fog that we could defend? And we might even run across other people we can trust"
Fat chance of that happening, but her mind wandered to Delta Eight. What had happened to him? They could use his help right now.
