First off, yes, I know, wrestling's fake. So when a wrestler makes a decision that makes me scream at them, I know it's what they've been scripted to do. But that doesn't make it any less irritating.
For example, I remember a 2004 episode... I believe it was after Survivor series... where all the participants on the winning side of an elimination tag match get one wish granted, and Maven asked for a shot at the title. Triple H offers him a spot on Evolution, presumably Orton's old spot, but Maven takes the high road, and get's his a** kicked in a title match.
I know, storyline, writers, blah blah blah. But watching this scene unfold was like that one part of the original pokemon games when a Team Rocket member offers you a job, and you have no choice but to keep saying no. Before joining Evolution, Orton was so obscure that they wouldn't even show his matches on Sunday Night Heat. Just like Maven. It would have been the perfect career choice for Maven, and if he'd been scripted to accept it, there's a chance he'd still have a job there today.

Assuming that "Taking steroids / drugs" and "Being a d**k" are not acceptable responses:
Shawn giving his career to Taker in a rematch, and Hunter getting one, too. Throws off the ratio of victims to wins. Right now, there's been 19 wins, but only 17 victims.

Can I throw firing Finlay over a heel heat spot at a house show in here?
Biggest mistake a wrestler made for me lately was Mr Kennedy's WWE stint. That guy was inches away from being the next Rock and he kept ******** up getting busted on the wellness policy. He was even the focus of THE major storyline that they took a whole year working on involving the president of the company, and he threw it all away.

Archon of Aegis Can I throw firing Finlay over a heel heat spot at a house show in here? Biggest mistake a wrestler made for me lately was Mr Kennedy's WWE stint. That guy was inches away from being the next Rock and he kept ******** up getting busted on the wellness policy. He was even the focus of THE major storyline that they took a whole year working on involving the president of the company, and he threw it all away. I know... He had the MITB contract, a guaranteed title reign, and he couldn't even capitalize on THAT.

But here's a mess up most people don't know about. Back when Bill Goldberg had his, "Streak" his second or third match in the WCW, it was a house show so it wasn't televised, he Lost. His streak should have an * next to it. It's tainted with a house show loss.
That said, I am a Goldberg fan, I think he's awesome, but thats still a mistake worth noting

That said, I am a Goldberg fan, I think he's awesome, but thats still a mistake worth noting He's had more then just one loss at a house show. Even when his streak was up in the hundreds, he was losing house shows.

When Chris Jericho "killed" the Y2J character. Why was it a mistake? The fans continued to chant Y2J loudly when he wrestled. I remember even after he beat HBK to a bloody pulp gouged his eye as they put it, if you listened the fans still chanted Y2J, vicious but VERY epic crowd that night at the PPV. I want to point out an in-ring mistake if it's o.k.
Does anyone remember when Kurt Angle miffed the moonsault and broke Hardcore Holly's arm? No more top rope moves for him after that.
Or when Owen Hart (R.I.P.) miffed the pile driver that broke Stone Colds neck?
