Sirius had worked her a** off collecting food for Zirconia and for the others. She went patrolling for other negas most nights and though she had no large part in the whole ordeal there was no doubting the fact that she was trying. Yet there seemed to be a price to pay.
Whenever she was at home she couldn’t sleep. She would wake up screaming seeing the faces of the general, the captains and those were pretty much dead already. Everytime she closed her eyes she saw their faces, heard their screaming’s and so she screamed. Her parents were starting to get worried which in turn made her more on edge. She couldn’t get her parents worried she needed her freedom.
It was a rash decision to move out, she explained it to her parents but they agreed she could leave once she finished school and they would help her find an apartment. It would have to do; she was ready to accept those terms when something else was thrown at her.
She would have to see a shrink.
She argued that she was fine, that she was just stressed from school and that was causing the nightmares but her parents were stubborn. They didn’t seem to be taking any pleasure in this but they didn’t know what they were doing. She let out a sigh and agreed to go, only to find out that the first session was later that day.
She ran up to her room allowing her dogs to follow before she landed on her bed and cried. She would have been fine if she hadn’t been a senshi, if she hadn’t joined the BMC. She would be alone but she would be fine! It sank in quite quickly though that she was so alone, she wasn’t friends with anyone in the BMC, not like the higher ranks who seemed so close together. She honestly wasn’t sure what to do they were just work colleagues. She had no friends at school in fact she now avoided trying to have friends because she knew she would be out patrolling at night.
Being a senshi had ruined her life.
How long she laid on her bed crying she wasn’t sure as she fell asleep, a nice dreamless sleep only to be woken by her parents. It was time to see the dreaded shrink.
The journey was easy enough she just had a blank mind. She just watched the buildings go past thinking about nothing. As they got to the shrink’s office she just stared at the clock until her name was called and that was when she had to leave her parents behind and the panic set in. She couldn’t trust anyone. What if this shrink was one of them? Why was it she had to think like that all the time? She let out a sigh and sat down on the chair that was pointed at.
“Louisa, your parents tell me you have been different lately, lots of nightmares and a change in attitude. Do you know what may have caused this?”
Louisa had just stared at her, like she had when they had introduced their selves though obviously the shrink knew who she was. Maybe it was because of how unresponsive she was being that she jumped in the deep end with her.
“As I told my parents it’s just school… exams coming up and I am to graduate in the summer.” She hated shrinks, she had never seen one before but she was now hating them big time.
“Look I am sorry for wasting your time, I really am but I am so tired, I was up late working and it really is just general school stuff that you can’t help with.” She then went to get up and leave.
“Then tell me about school.”
“What?” Louisa turned around as she was near enough at the door by now. Hadn’t she just told the shrink that there was nothing really wrong? “There is nothing to tell, it’s just stressful as is living in this bloody city. Did you know the death rates here seem higher then anywhere else? It’s just pathetic. I can’t wait to get out of here. Like I said sorry for wasting your time.” With that she did leave. She didn’t look at her parents who sat looking worried she didn’t even wait for them outside. She just left.
Maybe her parents did have reason to worry about her, she wasn’t their little girl anymore she had grown up and now done things that they wouldn’t have even imagined. She wasn’t a child anymore she was close enough to be a murderer. She was an accessory to murder all the same and she knew that and well if she practically killed someone, why shouldn’t she? The thought surprised her slightly but then at the same time it didn’t.
She slid into an alley and transformed before jumping up onto the building and using them to head towards the place they were keeping the prisoners. For now Sirius was up for following anything Ares asked of her, right now she didn’t care. After all even her parents had betrayed her, she didn’t need no shrink. She would stay at the hideout for a few days now she wouldn’t go home. She would text her parents later and let them know she was safe so the police didn’t call but she needed time away from them and work seemed like a good distraction.
