Satine had been spending alot of time with Beni. Since her daughter had been attacked and hurt, and since she had gone a little...odd...She had tried to help her feel better and had been spending time with her. She had helped dye her hair adding red into it and had helped her with her fighting, and stealth some more. She was getting better but she felt bad she couldn't spend more time with her sons. Van...well Van was off doing what he wanted to do. He was independent like Schmee but Beni said he had been there and had helped her once. But she never got to see him.

Fox came around sometimes too but he seemed to spend more time with Schmee and something seemed to have changed her son. He was more quiet about himself though Beni had told her that he had talked with her for a while the other day. Gone off and spied on Colleen who was the biggest pain in her a** right now. But it was Eros that she wanted to spend time with today.

Sitting in the garden behind her home she was waiting to see if he would be around today so she could spend time with him and see how things were going with him.

Target locked. The young male smiled a mischievous little glint in his eye as he tried to keep quiet and stalk closer to his mother. She looked defenseless..nothing could stop him this time! Granted Eros usually became VERY distracted and could be absent minded..especially if things like yarn or string were involved. Just the thought of the delightful things had his tail twitching in excitement, oh if only he had some right now. That would be great! Now with the thought in his head the boy hardly noticed anything else and, even sat up in the grass giving away his 'position'. Yarn..ribbons..string, Eros purred softly hands fidgeting a bit. Drat why hadn't he brought his ball of yarn? It made a good weapon too no matter what his siblings said! It could trip people or be used to tie them up. What else did he need? Sitting there ponderign the world and, his magic secret weapons uses Eros..sort of forgot his reason for being on the ground in the taller bits of grass. Why had he been on his knees crawling around? "Hmm..." Tapping a finger to his young chin it suddenly dawned on the little feline. "Oh no! Mommy did you see me?" Drat! Stupid yarn..it always messed him up.

Satine heard her son in the grass well before he ever popped up and stopped stalking her. She ran her hands through her curly hair and watched him from the corner of her eyes trying to act like she didn't see him there. She was quite proud of the efforts that her kids put into learning how to be like her and Schmee. She loved how far Beni had come, even with her crazy side that came out. She was quite proud of Fox too when she got to see him at work.

She looked at him in surprise, fake surprise but she was good at making it look real, and smiled. "Oh no love i didn't see you at all! How did you manage to sneak up on me like that? Your getting so good love?" she said as she opened her arms to him so he could come sit in her lap. "What distracted you this time though? We need to work on that don't we?"

Eros could feel a pout forming, his lower lip trembling before he rushed over to snuggle into his mothers warm arms. She always felts so nice...so safe. He felt bad..even if his mother seemed surprised he knew he hadn't done well and, her next statement proved him right. "Y-yarn...I love it! Shiny things and yarn...I'm not as good at...at this as you mommy.."

Satine smiled at him and nodded as she pet his face softly. "You are very smart. Yes Yarn and shiny things is what did you in. You need to learn to tune things out so that you can get through your task. Then you will get your prize, which would be the yarn for you or your keys." she said with a smile as she pulled her red curls over her shoulder. She smiled at him and pet his face as she scratched behind his ear softly. She looked over him happily as she pulled him close. "Want to try again?" she asked as she smiled at him. "Climb back up the tree and try to sneak up on me ok?" she asked with a smile as she nuzzled him happily.
