HEY SHAO, it's me Bombazine! It's me Bombazine, and I just have these wolves sitting around that I'm looking to ruck up plots for! You'll read on, won't you?

(got your eye on someone not listed in here? They'll be in my journal, which is admittedly less informative than this thread, so feel free to ask about them here!)

User ImageName: Casimir
Location: YMCA

Summary: Cas is a nice boy who's found himself in a heap of trouble. He was raised a slave in Antianeira, and he found himself well-suited to it - he was all too happy to oblige all those powerful ladies in return for protection, for a little bit of reticent approval on their part. He's a very happy guy in general. Things started to fall apart for him when the Head Warrior returned and took a negative interest in him, berating him intensely and requiring him to sire a litter, which unfortunately for everyone involved turned out predominately male. In the interest of his own safety, and the well-being of his sons, Casimir relocated to a neighboring pack with his three boys, and has been struggling to deal with the resounding cultural differences facing him. Some things will never strike him as wholly proper - any males disrespecting a female, certainly, and brashness from a male in any circumstances is usually pushing it. Despite his efforts to integrate, he can never shake the sense that life outside Antianeira lacks a certain amount of decorum. But he does love his new pack, and his new alpha, and he knows in his heart of hearts that this was the right place to bring his children, even if they are growing up to be mouthy, insensitive little heathens.

Looking For:
  • Rp with his kids! Cas is by nature an affable, go-with-the-flow kind of wolf, so he is perpetually bewildered by the things his kids make him do, and by the things they do in reaction to him. Parenting is hard.
  • A friend or two. As previously mentioned, Cas can't help but flounder a little in his new pack; I want him to meet somebody, or more than one somebody, he feels is a good, close friend. Since Cas is remarkably easy to get along with, I think the main criteria for that job are being culturally sensitive/understanding, and generally positive in outlook. Beyond that, we should be golden. ALSO, I have been having some nascent thoughts of having Cas be involved in some kind of ~bromance~, since there is clearly not enough of that going on in Shao. Thoughts?
  • A little tenderness. Cas had a brief, and possibly unconsummated puppy love in his old pack, before he was subjected to the oh-so-scarring Varia Treatment. This has undoubtedly worked some kinks into his system, on top of the fact that an Antianeira boy's way of dealing with a love interest barely even qualifies as "courtly", but under all that bullshit Cas is just the kind of wolf to love a girl with all of himself. I would happily consider both temporary and long-term relationships for him; he has two breedings left and I suspect I will be using them.

User ImageName: Django
Location: YMCA

Summary: Ever since he was old enough to walk, Django's been kind of a little s**t. He has a gift for finding insults in others' words, for taking offense at things that are none of his business, and if there are qualifications for earning his respect, it seems nobody has met them. He has always felt too small, growing up around older cousins and the ever-present smother of fear that is all he knows of his mother, and he bullies others whenever he gets the chance. Being young, he tends to see the world in very clear and simple ways, and Django's favorite lines along which to delineate relate to gender and power. That said, he's still just a kid, who's going to require some handling to keep him from growing up a monster like his mother. He is capable of being soft and caring, but someone needs to force him to practice.

Looking For:
  • Family Game Night. My perception of Django is that he's growing up in a large and complex family - he has two batches of older cousins, parents and aunts and uncles strung all over the social spectrum of Antianeira, and of course that rascally grandpa who rivals him in lack of empathy for his birthplace. A lot of Django's beliefs are reactionary, and I need things for him to react against. Outings and meetings with any of his relatives are HIGHLY HIGHLY DESIRED.
  • Friends and nemeses. Though antagonistic, Django is hardly a loner, and will no doubt have a system of wolves he inflicts his presence upon. I also imagine he will, at least temporarily, just hate a lot of the wolves he meets, and as of yet have no idea of knowing which it will be beforehand. What I know is he needs a lot of social interaction to develop, and I will beg, borrow and steal what I have to to get it.

Name: Thrush
Location: around/in YMCA

Summary: Thrush prefers to be a quiet wolf; not out of shyness as much as a desire to keep her own company, where she can think clearly and not be so jostled. This preference has been enforced by what seems to have been a long personal exile, a period of solitude that brought her here from somewhere far out East. She is currently testing the waters at YMCA, wholly ambivalent about the communal living situation, but sticking it out despite that. She's edging past her prime and smart enough to know that, eventually, a lone wolf is a dead wolf. So, she's meeting her potential pack mates, making small talk, smiling warmly, and trying to share a little of herself - except sometimes the pieces don't line up. Most wolves tend to tell the story of themselves one way, but Thrush's recounts are only regular in their dissonance. An odd detail for such a pretty, put-together little wolf.

Looking For:
  • Ties that bind. Thrush is ever in danger of floating off into the wilderness, beholden to no one and utterly alone. She is, to an extent, aware that this isn't entirely a good thing. I think it would be a relief for both of us to have her find someone she feels a connection to - a puppy, a friend, a lover, someone to keep her engaged and present. This is a difficult fit, because Thrush is by no means social, and tires easily of talking to most wolves. But I think if she could find someone smart, and funny, and a little reserved, she would feel it worthwhile to stay in a pack. I'm willing to have her rove outside the area to find somebody, if you have a wolf in another pack. This could be a romantic thing (Thrush is not into flings), or not. This plot point gets the award for hell of potential dramas, because, of course, Thrush has a whopper of a story bottled up inside her, and the cork is set to eventually pop.

Name: Marion
Location: flexible

Summary: Marion is...memorable. One's general first instinct is to dislike her, because she is rude and loud and often a poor listener, but with enough exposure, it is possible to come to respect a certain zest that is always, always present in her demeanor, a rough-and-ready enthusiasm for every little thing. And she is rough - she's big, and a little fat, and her coat is usually as dusty, debris-studded and spattered with blood as the worn-out scrap of bear hide she wears like some primitive superhero's cape. She never seems happier than when she is chasing something down and killing it, but she also brings a surprising amount of ferocious joy to all the other parts of her day.

Looking For:
  • Let's start some s**t. In her heart of hearts, Marion is kind of an anarchist, and more than kind of a nihilist. Not only does she feel it isn't objectively wrong to do a lot of shady things, the idea of doing them without pause kind of excites her. So if she sees an opportunity to start some chaos, plant some misdirection, or even just ruin somebody's day, she might take it. Put another way: can you imagine some weird fight erupting in one of your packs, due to some bizarre misunderstanding? Marion can cause that fight. And she really, really wants to.
  • Kindred Spirits. Marion meets a lot of wolves, but in all her travels she has yet to come across someone with a character similar to her own. I think she would really thrive with another high-energy, avant-garde sort of wolf, in the same way that I think she's sort of starving now, running around with a bunch of wolves who think she's nothing more than a bossy handful. I mean...I love Marion. And I would really like to find a character who feels similarly.

I note it down here wat I sed in thread, k?

Your wolf: Cas
My wolf: Erin
User Image
What should happen:
It might be nice for my Erin to meet your Cas sometime - she's come almost from the other side of things, having been kept under the thumb by a male relative as his, pretty much, slave for years. She's had other stuff since then, but not much and I'd like to develop her to being more confidant, eventually 83
Erin is quite a cheerful, gentle soul underneath. Like Cas she's not too bitter - though she's still a bit sad from loss of her family. I was planning on throwing her in YMCA with another wolf from that same old pack so she could easily encounter Cas when wandering through =) He could maybe tell her 'bout YMCA's 'take in all' policy as she'd otherwise likely be a little to shy to ask to stay ^^;

Preferred way to rp: Telepathy preferred, totally! But otherwise any type is fine~ I can haz aim, thread or guild rp - your choice.

That sounds poifect, actually, Aly. 83 She can hear about the pack and Cas can give her his entire life story! I think...guild rp would probably be best, until I see if we share a lot of hours in common. Would you like to start, or shall I?

Also, added Marion's blurb! It's kind of confusing!

Your wolf: Casimir
My wolf: Hayden
User Image

What should happen: Did you say bromance? Hayden is old and not REALLY looking for love, but friendships are ttly A-OK. Here is what I have for his personality, taken directly from le journal:
Hayden believes in the better causes of life. Loyal as he is, smart, kind, welcoming in many forms--Hayden is prone to providing whomever he stands besides with an unrelenting amount of devotion. However, and this is where some may find his morals faulted, Hayden has a strong reserve and chooses his fights carefully; and whether his alpha or his lover is in great peril, if the fight is unjust, count on him to second guess his actions and, very likely, avoid the conflict all together. This is because Hayden has seen what tragedy comes from blindness in love, friendship, or frankly in the loyalty to others. He knows what it is like to battle tooth-and-nail for someone who means the world to him despite what the downfall could be in his desperation, and in his dwindling state and growing age...he simply can not allow for such to stand. Hayden is great company, a wonderful conversationalist, witty and comical in his best light, but one better have a GOOD reason to start a full on brawl if they are looking for his signature of approval.
Preferred way to rp: Guild! Althouuugh, AIM is ttly okay too, but I'm...sort of not on AIM. Ever. Hayden can go anywhere, so running into Cas near YMCA would be fiiine if you prefer for him not to venture off far.
Also, He is so hot.

Your wolf: THRUSSSSSSH
My wolf: WHY YOU MAKE ME GO GET PAR'S IMAGE OUT, LAZY. AGH. >8|
What should happen: SHE'S A FRIEND AT LEAST AND HE NEEDS FRIENDS SO WHATEVER SHE DOES HE WANTS TO BE A PART OF MKAY? Dun go breaking his heart now after Dove's disappearance and Aleu's new family.
Preferred way to rp: Any of them? Though if we do telepathy, obviously you'lll be the one writing it all down at the speed of thinking. 8|
