Erin had taken it upon herself to be both nurse and doctor until she could find more help around the clinic. . She never complained and never seemed hindered by the workload (since people here in Rose Valley rarely seemed to become ill). She concluded that it was lots of fresh air and no icky, gross fast food for miles that attributed to the townsfolk's' good health. Her mornings, just like the one that had just dawned, usually began with the good doctor catching herself before she fell back in the chair she dozed in at the front desk. Erin always wanted to make sure she was there to greet patients, even if she was desperately trying to get in forty winks whenever she could.
Erin took her feet down from the desk and leaned forward, letting out a mighty yawn before rubbing the crusty build-up over her eyes away. Her hand tapped the mouse of the front desk's computer (the one she stored all her patient information in. Her personal computer was back at the inn). The screensaver vanished and revealed her desktop with a large caduceus as the wallpaper. The time read 7:23 A.M. 'Ick... About... two... three 'n a half hours?' she thought to herself, estimating the amount of sleep she had managed to get after her body forced itself into hibernation (much like her computer had after some time of inactivity).
The groggy doctor pulled herself out of the chair and staggered to her feet, locking the computer to bring it to the password entry screen. She was still dressed from the night before and her long hair hung around her face, being a frizzy mess. Erin lazily pushed the dyed blue locks out of her mouth and fastened the top several buttons of her short-sleeved shirt, just enough to modestly cover the bra beneath. She definitely didn't have enough energy, nor did she care enough if her mid drift was poking out from the bottom of her shirt. At the front door, she took the dry erase marker and scribbled messily on the sign, WILL RETURN! OUT TO LUN BREAKFAST
She pushed open the door and stepped outside into the cool morning breeze. 'Ah, how refreshing...' she thought to herself before shuffling off down the street towards Good Eats...﹃
