Damian was drunk. It was starting to become more and more often that he would come home from work and grab a beer, or two, and throw himself in front of the TV. He wouldn’t always get drunk, sometimes he’d just have a couple beers and then crawl into bed. He had a feeling Carter was catching on to his extra drinking. His roommate would give him long looks and the next morning some of his beer would be mysteriously missing.

He wasn’t worried about that now though, right now he was only thinking about the beer in his hand and where his life was going. He wanted to be a musician; it was what he had wanted since he picked up a guitar. But the musician thing was harder than he thought, his band wasn’t going anywhere. Getting gigs in Destiny City weren’t exactly easy, especially when he didn’t have a full band. He was writing songs whenever he could, but half of them were crap. The other half…eh, he just didn’t know about the whole thing anymore.

But if he wasn’t going to be a musician what would he do? Sure he had his job at Big Willie’s, but that wasn’t exactly a career. It barely paid rent and bills as is. The idea of school crossed his mind, but he wasn’t sure about that. He had hated high school, and he didn’t think going to college would be any better. He had never been good at the academics anyways. He wasn’t sure what that left him with.

He put down his beer bottle with a sigh, what was that his fifth? Maybe his sixth, he’d lost count somewhere along the line. He glanced at the empty bottles scattered over the end table and kitchen table a little guilty, but didn’t move to pick them up. Carter was out, probably with his skater dork friends. There was no one to hide the alcohol from at the moment.

Sighing he raked his fingers through his hair, he wanted to get away. Just for a little bit, but he couldn’t exactly run out of town, but…A grin tugged at his lips and he stood up pulling his henshin pen out. It didn’t take him long to transform into Super Sailor Orion and then his phone was in his hand.

Settling down on the couch he closed his eyes, listening to the universe. It was easy for him to pluck out the sound of Orion singing to him, it was a welcome sound, comforting even when he was drunk. Focusing on it he pushed send and after a moment of nothingness he appeared on Orion, just in front of the castle.

Looking up at the dilapidated building he sighed, it was a ruin of a former glory. ”Look at you, broken down, neglected. I’m sorry, I wish I could fix you up. Rebuild your walls, shine your floors.” He wasn’t even sure if you could shine stone floors, but it didn’t matter, the sentiment still held true. He sighed, crossing the moat to walk into the entrance hall.

His silver eyes took in the sight of the stuffed animal heads, he still couldn’t believe how massive they were. It was hard to imagine killing something that big. But even more impressive was the giant statue that dominated the end of the entrance hall. Staring at that statue he felt entranced. The woman was gorgeous, it didn’t hurt that she was bent forward, her stone face inviting, one arm outstretched to him, her cleavage displayed nicely by the dress she was wearing.

Orion stepped forwards studying the surprisingly detailed face of the statue. It sparked something in him like a memory that he’d forgotten somewhere along the way. Unfortunately the more he tried to grab at it the further away it got. Sighing he moved closer, curling up against one of the legs of the statue. He rested his head against the cool stone, but then an idea came to him. With a wicked smile he looked up trying to see if he could see up the statue’s dress. Unsurprisingly he couldn’t see any naughty bits and sighed. Man, he couldn’t get tail anywhere.

His head went to rest on the leg of the woman again wondering who she was. Had he known her? It was a bit much to think about and he let his eyes close for a moment. Maybe he could just rest there for a bit, but then…

”Thor! Put me down, you’ve gotten me off the ship and tied a rope around my waist. Do you really think I could get away?”

Orion looked up startled, what the hell? Standing in front of him where two phantom people, one a giant bear of a man with a wild mane of red hair with a beard to match. The other was a woman, shorter than the man, and smaller but not slight. She had blue hair, and bright green eyes, but his eyes were drawn to her smile. Even as she was yelling at the bigger man her lips were turned upwards, the smile on her lips a playful but deadly one. He could tell that this woman could handle herself, at least with someone that was a normal size. Thor definitely wasn’t normal sized.

He watched as the bigger man put her down and he saw that he really had tied a rope around her, the end of it tied around his own waist. While the sight of the large man’s body was impressive based on his size alone, being able to get a good look at the woman…Maybe it was because he was drunk, but she was hot. He squinted looking closer at her, hey, she kinda looked like the statue. Was that her? If it was he understood why he had a statue of her. His silver eyes trailed up and down her body, who was she? And why was she in his castle? At the thought of this being his castle he looked back to the large man. What was he doing there? Unless…Orion pushed himself up moving closer to the vision, the redhead, the silver eyes…was that him?! Holy crap, he was giant! He couldn’t help but feel pretty impressed with himself. He was a bad a**…a bad a** that was tied to a chick. Why was he tied to her? He got his answer soon enough.

The big man laughed pulling the woman closer, ”I always think you can get away from me, dove, it’s why I keep such a close eye on you.” Thor grinned before he leaned down catching her lips in a kiss, it wasn’t long before the bluenette slapped him, trying to wiggle away. Laughing the big man pulled away from her, the slap didn’t seem to affect him. ”Oh dove, you’ll give into me one day.”

And then the vision was fading and Orion stumbled forwards again reaching out. No, no! Where were they going? He needed to see more, he needed to find out who that woman was.

Before he knew it he was jogging through the halls of the castle, searching for the phantom couple. Where were they? He need to know. It wasn’t until a half hour later that he leaned against the wall, sliding down it. He was drunk, he was drunk and his head was pounding. He wasn’t even sure if what he had seen was real. Maybe he had just imagined it all.

Tired and drained he summoned his phone, sliding it open. Focusing on Earth he closed his eyes and pressed Send.
