[A7 IS ENTERING UR BEACH, BREATHING UR FOG]
As A7 exited his tent in a rush of movement and idiocracy, he found himself walking on sand. When he looked up, all he could see was the dark ocean curling into the shore ahead of him.
He immediately fell to his knees in sheer happiness. "OH, GOD, YES. WE'RE ON A BEACH. A MOTHER ******** BEACH." He could kiss the sand below, if the helmet wasn't stopping him. As it was, he kind of wanted to roll around in the sand and make believe he was back.. back..
..
"This memory thing is some bullshit, goddamn." A7 pushed himself back to his feet and headed straight for the beach. Sure, he didn't trust this suit to be waterproof (and he would probably sink like a stone in it) but maybe, just maybe, if he got close enough, he could smell that salty sea air.
He took a deep breath, and choked. The fog was all he inhaled.

[A1 is entering the beach]
One strode after Seven, stretching his legs to catch up with the larger man's headlong charge. It helped that Seven had stopped to fall to his knees and yell something muffled and joyful towards the ocean. Lake? Ocean, One decided, judging by the waves.
He took a couple of jogging steps to catch up with Seven and smacked the man across the back of the helmet, open-handed. "Seven, man," he said, trying for calm. "Don't run off alone. Who knows what's out here? Give us some warning, would ya?"
He glanced back for Twelve. She'd come out, too, which meant that he ought to keep an eye out for where she was, at least.

[A12 IS ENTERING THE BEACH]
Twelve was slowly trodding behind One and Seven, her hand lifting to brush a lock of hair behind her ear but only meeting the gsk mask instead. She really needed to remember that the gask mask seemed permanently attached.
"As long as he's not out of sight, we're good, right?" She referred to Seven running ahead of them, giggling at his humorous antics. Of course, One spoke sensible logic too. At least, One was a good medium for Seven. She still clutched her pack to her chest, looking out towards the dark waters. It was an ominous sight, the waves splashing against the shore, leaving behind a line of wet sand. But in the fog, it almost looked like hands extending forward. Twelve took a few steps closer to One and Seven, closing the distance.
"A-At least, we've got a nice setting." An open setting really. Because if something happened to approach them, they'd be sable to see it on this open beach, right?
Probably.
Likely.

(( A3 is entering the beach ))
Oh yes. Back with the idiots. Three had forgotten for a moment just how poorly he'd rated Seven's mental capacity. Really now. Glancing about him, he observed the scenery. Beach, beach and more beach, and possibly an opposing squad's base over there in the distance. How utterly fantastic.
Though with all this fog, there was hardly a lack of cover, but one could forget being able to see anything in the midst of it. Not precisely the best option, but currently their only one. "We're in unfamiliar territory, charging off by oneself is, as was mentioned before, next to suicide." However, if Seven was intent on doing suchly, Three would not miss him. Not in the slightest.
And he also rather supposed there were other deadly things on these grounds...you know, just in case everyone wanted to band together or some other delusion of nobility. Though he rather doubted that most of his squadmates knew the definition of the word nobility.

[A8 is ENTERING the Beach]
As he stepped out of the bright red tent and onto the sandy ground of the beach, he couldn't help, but to laugh. He had hoped the area would reveal something as to why they were there. Possibly another hooded figure like the one in the classroom who could tell them why they had been covered head to toe in strange armor and given "weapons" or should he say why everyone else so far had been given weapons. However, he tried to curb his urge to continue laughing at their situation and actually try to get things moving. Not that the thick fog helped things either. Making his way towards A1, he hoped at least the two of them could figure out their next move. Though he found himself echoing A1's warning to A7.
"Yeah, unless you are going to swim for it, I would think it's best to stay with the group until we find a clearer path out of here."
Looking around, all he saw was fog, a little glimpse of sand and water, and oh yeah! There was more fog. This day was just getting better and better.
"Looks like we may need to tie that one to a tree if we want to hold him down in one spot long enough to formulate a plan. Any takers? Hahaha."
At least he was still amused by his own jokes. Nothing like bringing up the idea of bondage to brighten everyone's day.

(( α V entering the beach! ))
Fiver had much the same reaction as Seven (or Leeroy, as he'd apparently dubbed himself) when he came out of the tent. Eyes widened behind the gas mask, and he charged toward the water, yelling, "VACATION TIME, YES!!" Coming up behind Seven Leeroy, he raised a hand into the air. "High five, man, we are OBVIOUSLY someplace amazing. I mean, if it has a beach, there might be babes around here?" He looked around, hoping ... hoping.
Nope, just fog. Damn. Bummer.
Oh whoops, Three was talking about some kind of plan, that might be good too. It was at this point that Fiver noticed the other tent. "Hey, over there. I'm betting we're supposed to attack whoever that is. I mean, unless some monster jumps out of the fog. Like a random encounter or whatever." Not that he was entirely sure what he was talking about there, but take it and run with it man. Just run with it.

Ohhh my God, these people talked a lot. A7 barked a laugh at A1 when he slapped the guy in the back of the head - hey, he was used to it. He couldn't remember why, but he could remember he was used to it. "Yeah, yeah. Stick together. All that jazz. I got it." He wrapped a big arm around A12, and his voice sounded like he was grinning widely. "See? I'm sticking together. You feel protected now, don'tcha sweetie?"
At A8's words, A7 stared out at the shore in longing. "Man.. I wish I could swim for it. I feel like I would sink faster than the Titanic in this get-up, though. But if I could get out of it.. mmm. I'd take that ocean any day." He brought his hand up to receive the high-five from A5. "I honestly thought this place was gonna be hell, but if we're all messing around on a beach, how bad could it be?"
And then he saw the opponent's tent.
"Oh, s**t." He whispered, nudging his head in the direction of the tent a ways off. "We ain't alone here."
Suddenly the beach didn't seem like a great place to be, after all. No cover. There was like, one tree, near their tent. A7 silently called it.

Behind the mask, One rolled his eyes. He wasn't about to "rescue" Twelve if she didn't express some kind of sign she wanted to be rescued, though. Who knew? Some girls liked the big dumb ones.
"I don't think we're here for vacation, unless the brochures looked much better than the facilities," he said to Five, a faint smirk audible in his tone. Silently, he filed Five in with Seven in the brainpower department. He could only hope that the guy would be more useful in a fight.
Eight, on the other hand, was giving him the creeps. Just a little. Something about that laugh. Couldn't be too picky about where help came from, but One didn't intend to trust anyone blindly. Still, the guy had bandages and seemed to have a functioning brain. He might yet be key to the group's survival.
It was Five who first spotted the other tent. One frowned at it through the fog. "I don't like the idea of attacking without a better idea of the lay of the land," he said. "Or a better idea of what's in there. For all we know, it could be a trick."

A12 was content to remain silent as the others discussed their plan of strategy-- What else would she say? She wasn't quite sure herself. What she hadn't been expecting was A7's rather sudden entrance. .. Protected alright. "D-Dont trip and fall again. If you do, I'm afraid I can't drag you back out of the ocean if you sink." Twelve looked up at Seven, a smile in her tone. Her posture seemed a little stiff-- but Seven never meant any harm. Twelve didn't see the danger of a little personal-bubble-invasion.
Just a little.
She looked to where the males looked, her eyes widening. Another tent? Was it full of people too? If only thirteen could survive .. Well, pacifism wasn't always an option when it came down to it. But attacking first .. Seven didn't prefer that idea either.
"Why assume we have to attack first? .. What do they call it .. a silent .. ambush? Or a scout? We could send one of those!" Twelve suggested, clapping her hands together. "We're not sure if they're hostile yet, right?"
Key word: Yet.

"As haphazard as it is...this can evolve into a scouting mission, if the lay of the land is what you're concerned with." Three turned to One, intending to aid his efforts to corral the less...er...mentally powered of the group. "So I daresay we should pick a direction and start out that way." Unless of course they divided up, sending the fodder off in one direction and those with actual survival capability in another.
And here he was, downgrading his mental estimation of Five once more. Friendly, but just another idiot....though a touch less annoying than some others he could mention. Even Seven had his uses...redeeming qualities, even if they were only temporary. Eight was worrisome, but tediously necessary.
Two and Twelve, however, were probably doomed.
Glancing over towards Twelve, Three scoffed. "My dear, they are quite likely hostile, considering that only a very small fraction of those placed here are supposed to survive. I can only imagine that they wish to survive as much as we do, and frankly, that doesn't leave room for all of us to keep breathing."

Ooh. The girl in his arms had smarts. A7 liked smarts. Smarts were good. "I didn't trip, sweet thing. I fell to my knees in happiness. I love the beach. Well, maybe not this beach, I guess. Beaches in general though.." He looked up at the sky, frowning at the clouds blocking the sun. "Man this place is dreary. Ah well. It could be worse. We could all be here alone." A7 clearly relished and treasured the idea that he was part of a team, and planned to prove himself a valuable asset to the team.
.. But not as a scout.
"Yeah, pick someone quiet to go over there and check their place out." He doubted they would be friendly, but a little information couldn't hurt their chances out here.
"I'd offer to go, but I'm pretty sure I said someone quiet." Dumb he may be, but A7 knew he was loud, and he was proud of it. He spoke more volumes with his fist than his mouth, anyway.

"Um, hello?" Two said, waving at Five. "Kind of a babe, like, right here?"
She struck her best sexy pose and waited for the adulation to roll in.
Um.
It looked better without the gas mask...?

There were certain basic inalienable rules that A7 lived by.
1. If it looks like beer, and smells like beer, it's probably piss. Don't drink it. Make someone else try it first. 2. Always have a comb handy. (He idly wondered if they'd taken his away when they dressed him.) 3. When a woman calls herself a babe, she's asking for it.
Rule number 3 came into effect immediately. A7 sauntered over, and held his other arm out for A2, while still keeping A12 snug under his first arm. Hey, two is always better than one.
"Ladies, ladies. Don't fret. I'm sure Fiver appreciates your presence, brightening our dreary day with your pleasant voices. Now, let's focus on picking out a scout, while I keep you two snug and protected right here."
Straight up pimpin'.

"Like, that would be totally amazing!" Two beamed - not that anyone could see it under the gas mask - and curled herself promptly into the offered arm. Ah. That was much, much better. Give her enough time, and she wouldn't even have to share with this other creature. Twelve? What kind of number was Twelve?
A stupid number, that's what.

After he was done being amused with the idea of tying up the more energetic members of the team, he focused on A5's discovery: the other tent.Trying to discern an accurate distance between the two tents, Eight found himself even more annoyed with the fog that completely ruined any chance of properly determining not only their location, but the location of the new found home base of the opposition. However, he couldn't help, but to comment on the others that had emerged from the tent.
"Three's right. Some of you should probably go ahead and hold your breath now. Hahahaha."
There he was cracking himself up again or was his sanity slowly slipping away? Either way, this was going to be a real picnic. He just knew it. Sanity and reasonable thought were much rarer than he thought possible among the rest of the team. Some seemed more occupied with turning their unfortunate circumstance into a vacation. Oh well, there can only be thirteen and he sure as hell was going to be one of them.
"Though I do think it would be a good idea to send someone who is not only quiet, but can defend themselves. The best defense is a good offense."
Said the boy with the bandages. He was certainly smirking under his mask. Can't send the medic in. Nope, jokes on you guinea pigs. He almost felt like laughing again.
