Anyone else realize that they all have obvious bad-guy names? Names like Hadriana and Senestra the Snake. Was anyone else mildly surprised when Danarius didn't have a sinister twirly mustache like he just finished tying a damsel to some train tracks? Just me?

Also, it kind of strays from my point, but is anyone curious where the name Fenris actually comes from? Loki, the fire god and amoral trickster figure of Norse mythology was imprisoned by the other gods, chained up under a snake who constantly drips poison on him, until the end of the world- Ragnarok. That is when he will finally break free from his rusty chains, and he will free the great wolf, Fenris, who has been imprisoned by the gods since the beginning because it was prophesied that he would kill Odin. (There's some significant other guys with them, but for my purposes, they're not important). And they tear a path of destruction all the way to Asgard to kill the gods, leaving behind them a lake of fire to burn all or those annoying living creatures while they're at it.
Fenris is a force of destruction and chaos, a massive wolf who's lower jaw touches the earth and upper jaw reaches the heavens, and he swallows Odin, the most powerful of all the gods, whole.

Basically, I don't want to spoil anything since the game is still pretty new, but whoever named him that was really, really stupid. Fenris is not a little wolf. Fenris is in fact a very big wolf who repays his oppressors with bloody, apocalyptic vengeance.

Lol, blame the ancient Romans. I'm certain the writers got the name Danarius from the the ancient roman coin denarius, and Hadriana is basically the latin female version of Hadrian which evolved into today's English names like Adrian and Adriana. And Senestra... well.. okay... it obviously stems from sinister (but then that too has its latin bases) xD It's right up there with Malificent.

Haha, I could just be imagining it because of the way Fenris says them. The names don't always reflect the person. I know I've met dirt-farming peasants with demon names. But it seems like the Tevinters have obvious bad-guy names that rival those of Harry Potter. :b

Probably the only more evil-sounding name I can think of in the series is Morrigan because I always assumed she was named after Morgana/Morgan Le Fay of Arthurian legends.
