Streets were Zinkenite's preferred method of travel over all...next to teleporting it provided a thin level of anonymity so long as you could keep to the crowded areas. He had one other trick up his sleeve though, one that was coming in handy in his quest for information to save those of them who had been kidnapped by the "BMC"...

That however, meant that just for the time being, while he very much gave off the distinct aura of a Negaverse General, that he looked rather like a Senshi, even if it was a low ranking one.

The heels had been the most hellish part of the Senshi transformations, and he paused at the mouth of the alley to pull off, and curse at the offending shoes which were sending stabs of pain up his legs.
He couldn't imagine doing half the things senshi DID in these damned things, and at least he hadn't turned into that 'other' senshi...Mu whatever with the god forsaken boots that he hadn't the faintest idea how to start getting off. At least his slid on and off with relative ease.

The hiss of a cola bottle opening reminded him to be more aware, but the feel of a Lieutenant at least put him slightly at ease.
"Good Evening...." he greeted, for a moment neglecting to point out that he was not as he appeared to be.

What... the hell.
He blinked after her scowling and then looked down at his uniform and heaved a -heavy- sigh. Not quite the reaction he'd hope for in his own Lieutenants, then again it rather matched what his own was in a sort of odd way. 'Avoid Conflict' took on many faces and forms.

"LIEUTENANT!" He barked sharply after her, his town commanding and trying to catch her attention. That failing he teleported a few yards ahead of her, hopefully not about to be run -down- but that was a thin hope in and of itself. At least teleporting was slightly less exhausting as a General than as a captain, he could do it a few times with near impunity before it started really taking a toll one his stamina.

Re-appearing in front of her still holding the god forsaken shoe in his hand he let the illusion drop away. Colored mini skirts and ribbons gave way to dark blue-purple cloth and brighter blue trim and designs. That 'friendly' aura suddenly had a very serious face.

"Running... from a -Sailor- Senshi...not even a Super?" He demanded with arched eyebrows. "Surely... you could have attempted -something- even if it was a banter to gather information for the cause."

It was a scold but perhaps not as heavy of one as it might have been from someone else. Truth be told he was curious, he hadn't met this Lieutenant before and he wanted to assess her, evaluate her for her potential skills, who's team was she on, why had she been recruited and so on.

"What's your name Lieutenant." he said moving forward to stand closer to her, it was gratifying to note that... he was taller. There were so few people he could say that about, and while he constantly tried to discount the importance of height it was still a sore point for him to know that there was always the potential he could be strong armed out of reach of a starseed.

His eyebrows rose as though he knew her name already. "Ah!..." he said after a moment "Scheelite mentioned you." He nodded and glanced her over again, I'm sure he's already mentioned it, but don't ever trust your eyes, you should practice with him on feeling our auras, the better practiced you are the more easily you will be able to distinguish them."

His information was just that, not a scold or a chide, just a suggestion to continue her practices and talks with Scheelite.

"Though I'll ask that you keep what you have just seen to yourself and those you trust within the negaverse, that which allows me to appear as something other than what I -am- is a closely guarded secret. They don't need to know it's in my hands."

He flashed her a tight smile from behind the black cloth, all shadows and dark fabric and hard to tell the sincerity of it because if barely reached his eyes at all.

"If you tell him... I'm quite sure he'll be understanding enough to assist you further." He said quietly, it didn't promise not to tell, but at the same time there seemed to be an implication that he wouldn't. Actually it even seemed as though he expected her to inform Scheelite on her own.

"You'll get used to the feeling, it's a matter of paying attention, we don't live in a world where we are normally hunted so don't worry, It's like re-learning to look up, it's not something that comes naturally to humans."

"The more powerful a senshi the easier it will be, In my opinion, to feel their aura as well, you have of course your crystal to call back up, and if you find yourself in a situation where you are overwhelmed it is not unheard of to run."

He shrugged slightly. "Almost no one comes into this with any true fighting experience, myself included, it's a matter of finding where your best strengths lay and using them to the ultimate benefit of our cause...Scheelite will help you with that... as will most anyone."

He nodded approvingly. Her philosophy in many ways matched his own. "Play to your strengths." He added aloud with a smile curving the thick fabric that covered the lower half of his face.

"It's a good philosophy to have, and you have an excellent teacher for that."

It was also a lesson Zink in someways, had learned late in the game, He had never truly lost sight of his strengths...he'd simply run himself too thin.

He watched the expression on her face carefully...amused.

"... I will let you get back to your soda... how does that sound." He offered.
"I have to continue searching, but it was good to meet you." He gave her a small bow, more a deep nod than anything truly from the waist, not something a General should do anyhow.


"...Be careful." He added blue eyes burning into hers as though, though he barely knew her, loosing her to whomever had the others would be a terrible crime indeed.
