The night was young, and Fluorite had only just sneaked out of her window, and powered up a few minutes ago, in a alley.
Really, she had never noticed how many alleys Destiny City had until she had an actual need for them. Seemed almost ridiculous.
That done, the girl - wearing the jacket and the converses she had taken habit from 'burrowing' from her brother in some hopes that she could be less noticeable - decided to cut by the park to get to her first destination quicker.
She did look a little odd, with the overskirt and all, but most passerbys seemed content to think she was a theater kid coming home from a late practice session.

It was rare to see the normally cheerful redhead angry but there she was, fist clenched, practically stomping across Destiny City on patrol. Her pretty features were marred by a scowl as she trudged through shadows looking for any sign of trouble. Recently the senshi of dragonflies had been defeated in battle numerous times and it showed from the bruising of her neck (which she skillfully hid with make-up as a civilian), her arms and the various cuts that littered her frame.
Despite her better judgment, Sailor Denebola was out looking for a fight. However, the difference between this one and her previous fights was that she was paying attention to the energy signature blips that continued to pop up and the green clad senshi was determined to avoid any that felt more powerful than her own.
She had been in enough losing fights to negaverse captains that she didn't want a repeat experience...again. While Denebola was angry she wasn't letting it cloud her judgment yet, and she was playing it smart. Or as smart as she liked to think. So when she felt the energy signature of a lieutenant, or what she presumed to be, a small slanted smile spread across her lips and she quickly made her way towards the dark aura.
"Didn't anyone tell you that the medieval look is so 5th century?" She called, jumping from the roof top and landing somewhat gracefully a yard or two away from the purple haired girl. She placed a hand on her hip, shifted her weight on to that leg and cocked a brow.
Her confidence was brimming.

She caught the aura only seconds before the redhead spoke, and Fluorite rose an eyebrow, and turned around.
Miniskirt ? Check.
Silly bows ? Check.
Heels ? ...She couldn't quite see from here. Potential check.
Senshi ? Probably.
And b***h had brought fighting words. As much as she liked shoes, she thought her uniform pretty badass, thank you.
"The ******** your problem, princess ?" Fluorite announced, oh so eloquently. "Panties riding too far up your a** ?"
This was cool. Fluorite had this under control.

They were fighting words because Sailor Denebola was looking for a fight and it appeared she had found one with ease. She looked unimpressed by Fluorite's retort and faked a yawn, bringing the hand not on her hip up to cover her lips. "That's the best you can do?" She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth in a "tsk, tsk" fashion.
She shook her head, feigning disappointment as she strode towards the shorter girl. Her hand remained on her hip as the other curled into a fist. "You want to know what my problem is?" She asked as she drew increasingly closer towards the other girl. "My problem is you and the organization that you belong to," her words were sharp, pointed and her tone was angry one.
"I'm sick of seeing the death tolls climb because of you," she hissed bringing her leg up to roundhouse kick the girl once she was in range. "I'm sick of feeling your nasty energy screwing with my city!" She quickly followed up with a punch. She didn't say it aloud but she was mostly angry that the negaverse kept beating her and to be frank, she wanted revenge.

Blah blah blah b***h b***h b***h moan moan...
"You know, if it pisses you off so much, feel free to go back where you're from, ET." Fluorite muttered, but then there was something she didn't expect.
The senshi actually going violent this quickly. The kick staggered her back and the punch drove her down on the ground. What the ********, this b***h was hitting like a truck !
Her first reflex was to gather up some sand in her hand and throw it at Denebola's face once she came closer to hit again - then, she tried to punch her back.

The redhead ignored the words that the negaverser spit at her, her glare only deepening. Denebola herself had never traveled to her home world, because she wasn't quite sure she understood the mechanics of how it worked and because she didn't want to see how destroyed her past home was. She had heard from others about how devastated their planets were. "It's your ugly energy that's plaguing the city and the reason we're awaking here! You probably ******** our planets up too!" She snarled as her foot connected with the girl.
She coughed as the sand entered her mouth and some even got in her eye. She fell back, one arm covering her face just in time to block the full force of Fluorite's punch. She rubbed her eyes as she slid back trying to get out of range. She dropped her arm, eyes watery as she jumped forward lashing out almost blindly with her arm, her other hand ready to follow up with a punch to her gut.
"We wouldn't be here if it weren't for you," she shook her head bitterly. She didn't know if it was true or not but she didn't care. She was sick of the deaths, sick of the losses and really sick of fighting yet there she was swinging punches.

Scheelite was right - bitches were crazy.
They wouldn't be there if they weren't ? It was the other way around ! If these aliens had stayed on their planet, there would be no need for the negaverse !
Before Fluorite could throw this fact back, there was a fist connecting with her gut, and she doubled over, eyes watering.
She had to ignore the pain, but it was hard. She stagged back upright and tried to kick the side of Denebola's head.

Though it was not clear if either party was in the right, the senshi stood by the fact that she had been born on the earth and was a rightful citizen who had every right to be there despite her starseed's origins. She knew not of the destruction that had ravaged her home world or that of her fellow senshi's but she didn't care. Earth was her home now and she would have never been awakened by the cat had the negaverse's influence had not been present on earth once again. That was how Sailor Denebola perceived things and she'd be damned if anything, or anyone tried to convince her otherwise.
She was a defender of the weak protecting Destiny City, and the world, from that of the negaverse. That was the thought she focused on as she furiously attacked the lieutenant before her. She swung again as Fluorite kicked at her head, connecting squarely with her cheek flinging her to the side.
She nearly fell over, managing to catch herself before, legs spread and hand on the ground steadying herself. She straightened herself, fingertips gingerly touching her reddening cheek. "Goddammit, I'm sick of you stupid negas hitting my face!" She snarled lunging forward intent on slamming her body into the other girls and knocking her to the ground.

"You're the one that hit me first !" ******** psychobitch, seriously. Where all senshi rilled up on haterade or something ? Her midsection was hurting, and it was hard for someone so inexperienced to ignore the waves of pains that came out from where she'd been hit.
It only pissed Fluorite off more, and then Denebola was in her face again. Or really, she was in her everything, as she was tossed on the ground with the green-clad senshi over her.
"Okay look, this is kinky and all." She muttered. "But I don't put out on the first date, okay ?"
Fluorite had the adventage of being tiny - she pushed her body up and rolled upward, hoping to hit Denebola, and hopefully somewhere where it would hurt, and roll out of the way before the girl could pin her.
And then, she had half a mind to just run like hell. Psychobitch was too much for her, really.

"I didn't aim for your face, but maybe I should!" If she was going to have an ugly bruise on her face, again, then she was determined to repay the favor. As she launched herself she was pleased to find the purple haired girl's body falling beneath her. Her comment, despite the senshi's initial anger, made her laugh as she shook her head and raised her first back to punch.
"Sorry honey, you're not my type," she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth and moved her fist forward when Fluorite rolled upward bucking Denebola off of her. She fell back on to her back and struggled to get back up. Her head throbbing as she picked herself up off the ground, she stood preparing herself for another attack.
She was elated, knowing that she was finally in a fight that she was winning. Even if she had entered, and attacked, blindly.

"Oh no, she's going to hit me in the face ! Im so scared ! Ohhhh, my poor poor face !" Yeah, she was vain, in a way, but not that vain.
Fluorite really, really hoped she would bruise. Horribly. She hoped the bruising on Denebola could be visible for space. It was all too obvious that she'd been picked as an easy kill, and it rankled. She just expected senshi to be out to kill - why else would they kidnap agents outright ? And then there were the rumors or torture, even. The lieutenant was more than happy to put all senshi in the same basket of psychotic assholes.
She had more important things to do, really. Like, you know, gather energy.
Fluorite liked living, through. And there was one way she knew she could probably 'win', in a way. She played soccer. She speed-skated. She could give the track kids at Meadowview a run for their money.
Could Denebola do the same ?
When the senshi managed to stand once more, there was no attack. No, Fluorite was leaning against a tree, waiting, patiently.
When the senshi finally looked at her, she slid out of position, almost lazily. "I'd love to stay and play all night, sweetcheeks, but I've actually got better things to do with my time. Unless you can catch me, that is."
And with that, Fluorite gave the one-finger salute. She really hoped she didn't need to spell out what it meant for this headcase.
And then she bolted.

Denebola knew little to nothing about the methods the Blood Moon Court had used or the fact that six negaverse agents had been captured, tortured and killed. Even still she knew nothing about what measures some senshi were taking. She herself could never imagine killing, or even torturing someone beyond an initial battle.
"I'm not only going to hit you in the face," she snarled advancing on the girl. "I'm going to do much more than that," she promised uncurling her fists with ever intention of digging her fingernails, even beneath her gloves, into the girl's flesh.
When her opponent turned to run, even taunting her with the fact, the senshi simply smiled. Too bad the girl had no idea what her senshi ability was. As a civilian Denebola was a fairly athletic individual who played tennis bi-weekly if not more often and went running every other morning. As a senshi this was only amplified and with the speed boost of her attack, well she was like speeding bullet, at least that's how she liked to think.
"I can catch you," she promised darting off after her. "Flight of the dragonflies!" She cried feeling her body quicken so she was nearly a blur.

Oh, christ.
Of course that would be just her luck. Just. her. luck.
The god damn senshi was coming at her way too fast for it to be natural. That was her bloody magic ? REALLY ?!<******** ******** ******** everything.
Fluorite swerved to the left suddenly, tossing a trash can in her wake in some faint hope that it might buy her some time. She just needed to get away... Just long enough to lose her. Long enough to power down so that she couldn't even follow her damn signature.
That ******** magic had to run out sometime, right ?!

(Haha, derp moment, sorry XD Fixed!)
There was a strange thrill that filled her as she perused the purple haired girl, running after her easily with the gift of her ability. She was gaining quickly on her target, until a trash can was thrown into her path. She cursed as she skidded out of the way, losing momentum even as she remained in motion. "Crap," she muttered even as she resumed her running, she had less than thirty seconds to catch the girl before her boost ran out and even drained her.
The clock was ticking even as she regained her momentum and even almost caught up with the girl once again. She was still a yard or two behind the other girl so she decided she would do something while she could, before her power dwindled to nothing. She only had a few seconds left.
So she threw herself at the girl hoping she threw herself hard enough to catch the girl, fingers out stretched even as she fell.

Acccck ! Sure, the trash can had brought her time. Not enough time, through, but it was a start. She would be expecting another obstacle, through.
In spite of being the slowest individual in this scenario, Fluorite had found her ace. She needed to be completely unpredictable. It wasn't that hard, especially when she herself had no idea what the hell she was doing. There was no plan. The young lieutenant was simply doing a much classier version of a chicken running with it's head cut off.
Denebola was coming dangerously close again, and there was no telling what she'd do to her if she let herself get caught. Fluorite didn't plan to figure it out. The one finger salute was usually employed when she was relatively certain she wouldn't get caught.
The senshi jumped, and came close. She came very close. Close enough that she could have graped a lock of hair. But again, it was Fluorite's height that saved her - the girl threw herself on the ground, and rolled, using her momentum, much like a certain blue hedgehog, through this purple blur favored the sideway roll. It looked downright silly. It had been a desesperation attempt.
Fluorite stopped her course right in front of an alley, and she rose, hoping to dart into it before the senshi could get back up.
