Mono.

Anyone ever had it? I just got back from vacation and was diagnosed and now I have to take the entire week off work because I'm contagious! And I feel perfectly fine except that my throat is sore due to a mildly swollen tonsil.
I am not tired, I am not in crippling pain, the only thing I'm having a hard time with is knowing that I have to stay home and in bed all week! *blarg*

I believe I had what could have developed into mono once... but we nipped it in the bud before it got too bad. Yama had this nasty nasty bug once that could have turned into three things--i'll let her talk about that tho. 3nodding

Oh wow, I'm a bit late for this now, but I'm glad to hear you're better. I once knew someone who had it in middle school. People teased her because it's known as the "Kissing Disease" ^_^; Ah immaturity. I just went over a chapter about diseases in my health class. Gah makes me shudder every time I think about all those things that can invade the body and make you sick. >_O;

lol Oh Angel...it never changes! I have classmates old enough to be my parent who teased me about it! And knowing I got it from a client didn't make it any better! XD I think that the teasing is all just part of getting mono.

On a slightly hilarious note, my boyfriend has now come down with mono.
He has decided that I give the worst presents ever.
