Which character did you dislike the most in Origins?

Hm for me, I think it might be a tie between Loghain and Arl Howe. Oh my...How I hated them!! How people liked Loghain *spoiler* ->
and allowed him to be in your team and become a Grey Warden amazes me. I mean I did it once too so I could get all possible endings for the achievement but that's it. I've read about how people actually like him.... howwwww? He's such a bad person confused

And then there's Arl Howe.... I don't even need to say anything about him. I think everyone knows he's an a** who deserves no love!

I actually liked Loghain simply because he was such a ... real villain. Especially when I read The Stolen Throne before re-playing the game, it really puts his actions into perspective. Not that it excuses him or anything, I just have a love for well thought out villains. Cause the whole "I'm the villain because I'm simply MAAAD MWAHAHAHA" gets old real fast xD

Cailan pissed me off though. When he kicked the bucket I was like, "Good! You're a rubbish ruler anyway!" e_e

Alright, I can live with a reason like that. That's pretty fair, he was a pretty good villain (I rarely like villains though, I like nice people hehe). I sadly have not read the books though... I should really do so!

As for Cailan you don't get to see him enough to judge if he was a good king or not haha. From what you hear about him, I think he was a good and caring king to his people but perhaps he was a little too quick to go into battle. He was way too optimistic and I guess that is partially why he got killed....well that and stupid Loghain.

Of the characters in my party: Sten, he had redeeming factors, but he was still on the boring side.

NPC: Isolde, she just annoyed me :/

Really? I got more of the "luxury spoiled naive king" vibe from him. And his reputation just gets worse from there as the game goes along. He kept living for the legends he was told as a kid while his wife did all the real king work in the background. He's the guy who puts on a good face for the crowd...and that's about the extent of his king skills, just a pretty face to fool the crowd into thinking they're safe. And that just irks me to no end scream He was basically a more shallow idiotic political puppet version of Alistair (who I rather adore btw, don't let it be said that i hate naive people <3 Just the ones who let it go to their heads). And I haaaate people like that with a passion no matter how well meaning they are... maybe a little too irrationally I hate, but there it is xD

Oh geez... I've been playing through DAO again and I think I have a new least fave. Father Kolgrim... that excessively obsessive cultist. Augh. Even when I play for their side I just want to kill him.

I seriously dislike Isolde, posessed Connor, Anora, and Arl Eamon.

I absolutley HATE that demon that forces you into the Fade at the tower. You know the quest "Recruiting the Mages" yeah...that guy.

How can you hate Sten? Sure he's a bit of a critic but I LOVE his sarcastic humour, as well as Alistair's (I like to pretend to be the idiot punching bag for my friends as well-only alistair isn't always pretending.)

Personally, I hated Zevran. He was a cocky b*****d who liked to suck it up to you until he got his first chance to stab you in the back.
I also dislike Morrigan a bit. I can understand where she comes from, but I don't think everything is as black and white as she says it is, and she is extremely disrestpectful which honestly I find a VERY unwanted quality. As well, (spoiler)-> She offers up her body near the end like she is just bargaining, she has no respect for herself and her body tha is another quality I dislike.)

Arl Howe and Danarius because neither one has any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Both deserved a worse death then they got

Arl Howe, Jowan, Isolde, Velanna, Justice, Grace, Elthina, Sister Petrice
Anora, Aveline, the Arishok, Meredith, Orsino

@Kusugari: XD Morrigan and Zevran are my favorites. With Morrigan: the thing at the end, without spoilers, is about power and independence for her. It's not that she doesn't respect herself. She respects herself a great deal. She just doesn't view it that way. It's not about intimacy or emotion for her, it's just part of the ritual.
Blame Flemeth. XD
The only thing that she does that I can remember that really pissed me off was (spoilers): when you go to the Alienage to rescue the elves from the slavers, and the Tevinter mage at the end offers to use their lives to augment your power if you let him live. If you're a city elf then those elves are your characters friends, and his/her father is among them. And Morrigan actually gets mad at you if you don't take the slaver's deal!
About Zevran: Either you really like Zevran or you really hate Zevran. But I will say that he never betrayed me.

@NightsShades: I'm sad we didn't get to see more of Danarius actually. Fenris is so vague about his past, it would offer a little insight.
He's a sadist but not as bad as I thought he was going to be. He's not even the worst person in the room at the moment.

What's the name of the actual Arl of Denerim's son? The one that you can rescue from Howe's Dungeon? I let him rot every time.
Same with the arrogant Tevinter slaver in the alienage and the archer woman who tries to chase you off. His other minions are kind of funny though.

I also can't stand the woman that follows Loghain everywhere and insults you all the time. I don't remember her name either though.

Bann Vaughan! Blegh, I hate him, too.

That's what it was!
Yeah, my first completed game was with a city elf, so as far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't even be alive long enough for Howe to find him.
