The pass is not only a difficulty for attackers it can also be called a test of will. You are forced to climb the side of the mountain with footing no wider than 15 inches.
At times, the passage is entirely coated in a whiteout. A whiteout means that it's snowing so hard, you can barely see in front of you. This makes this passage extremely difficult to get though. Some people complain about it, and demand use of an elevator. But sadly, the isn't an elevator.
Random number 1-13 if its 5 and bellow, it's a whiteout.
These are Pronta's great gates, designed by Tiranus the war god himself after Aramil's invasion on the city. He was appointed this task by Devrin, the current king of Pronta. The wall's are made out of the strongest steel possible, and are twenty feet thick. They are fifty feet tall as well. Placed along the wall at even intervals are watch towers. Each watch tower has an anti air unit gun, as well as repeating missile launchers to help take out more heavily armored airborne opponents. Spaced along the wall at even smaller intervals were mounted machine gun turrets to mow down ground troops wishing to invade the city. As you walk through the gates, if you look up at the cieling you will notice several large, but closed holes. These holes are opened in times of war, and guards will drop explosives and such down onto the enemies. If you look underneath you, you will see metal underneath your feet instead of earth. This is a large hatch, and should you be an enemy of pronta, this hatch will open. Once this hatch opens you'll fall down into a pit of extremely corrosive acid. This wall is constantly garrisoned by the finest battalion available to Pronta, a group of strong warriors hand picked by Tiranus himself. This battalion is commonly comprised of several clerics, weaponmasters, mechanists, and gunslingers. Of course there will be different types of warriors as well, this is simply the main build of the battalion.
Large and strong stone walls cover the steel gates, preventing access to and from Pronta. They can be broken via strong attacks.

Conner looked up at the large wall to climb, "I have to climb this?" Connor sighed and began climbing.

Once Connor got hight enough and he could see the castle itself, Conner began to make the cold air around him circle him. Soon he was rising two stories high, he broke away from the air spout and landed on the concrete ground of Pronta. He began wandering around the city.

Feather and Sora climbed the mountain pass as they had done so countless times both before living at Pronta and when they lived at Pronta.

Connor looked down one time just before jumping down the mountain itself. Just before he hit the ground, wind began to revolve around him and he slowed down his frightful jump. Once he landed softly, he set off to Kranilla.

Zen skids to a stop as he makes it to the mountain he had to climb up. He places the small coat on his body and begins to climb up the mountain side. He wanted to see this place.

Zen makes it to the top and spots the city. He smiled somewhat and his wings vibrated and he set off with a small trail of dust behind him.

 Makyo NagareboshiSpawnMakyo had walked into what seemed a large mountain, and would need to climb it to get inside the city, so he put his carapace on, and first looked at himself. It seemed that Kora had such a large purifying effect on him that he had a new carapace on now, and even with a cape, and his pants' chains also went around him differently. He started to make his assault climbing the mountain with or without snow, as his carapace covered him from physical danger. The snow was rather harsh, and he couldn't see a thing. His strength though was enough to keep him on the mountain. After a long while fighting against the snow, he finally climbed the mountain full of snow, and directed himself towards somewhere inside the city. He would have to make new friends somehow or meet new people. Was he ready for this though? I'm dissolving in the darkness

Speed:11 Strength:8 Energy:550 Instead of climbing down like most people would, Dante simply jumped off the side of the cliff and dived. after a moment of plummeting to the ground like a peregrine falcon, he activated his wind skills and began gliding toward the train tracks, on his way back to Nocturne city. He barely glided right on time to make it to the end caboose of the train, and sat on top of the roof, waiting to reach the gates. I will not bow, I will not break

Kora made it up to the side of the mountain, that she remember is the way to the entrants to the city at the very top. Kora isn't much a good climber from the lack of any good muscle, but she could jump her way up. "It's this way." She said to him as she used her Enchanted speed/jump on herself. Now a bit fast and able to leaped higher, she jumped up to two stories high onto each little edge she could possibly use and got to the very top. She knows Srin would be fine getting up since of his trickster class. She spotted a brown hair woman, but didn't want to bother. "Excuse me~" She said walking by and enter to the city.
