For those of you who are struggling to learn TE-form, I have compiled a few learning resources that I think will help you get the hang of things:

Both of these songs deal with converting from plain form to te form. I must be from the only school on the planet that teaches masu-to-te before plain-to-te. It doesn't really make a difference... if you understand verbs, you'll see that the two styles of converting are just about interchangeable.

... and bonus points if you can tell me why the girl in the second video is waving a giant leek around.

You might want to look up Vocaloid music.
It's music sang in Japanese by computer synthesized voices.
Some of them sound amazingly realistic, and pretty much all of them are cute.

Fascinating, right?
I wish that kind of stuff was used more often in shows and such.
