The titantron begins displaying backstage, as it zooms in on Major Devastation as he prepares for his match later tonight, where he has an opportunity to earn his first taste of championship gold here in WWFG with a shot at the WWFG Intercontinental Championship...one of the most sought after championships in wrestling history.
Major Devastation raises a microphone to his lips and speaks into the camera, "My name is Major Devastation, and this is a big night for me. Tonight, I step foot into the squared circle with a man that many consider to be an Icon. Tonight, I step foot into the squared circle with GBL."
He paused dramatically as he took a deep breath, and exhaled it slowly. "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, I have fought my country's battles, in the air, on land, at sea! Two years ago, I fought as a United States Marine in the streets of Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, I perform in this ring each and every night for each and every one of you people!"
This statement drew a round of applause from the patriots in the audience. "Now," he continued, "now I get a chance to earn my first taste of championship gold here in WWFG...a chance to win the WWFG Intercontinental Championship! I damned well guarantee that I will fight tooth and nail tonight...that I will bring the war zone to the WWFG ring. Win or lose, you all are getting one hell of a show tonight...but I plan to walk out of here as the new Intercontinental Champion!"
"GBL, I have nothing but respect for you, but I want to leave my mark on this business, and the first step to that is beating you for that title! You had better be ready to fight tooth and nail to keep that gold, because I intend to earn my way to WrestleMania...one way or another! May the best man win...OORAH!!!"
