As soon as the announcer finished the short introduction, the crowd was treated to the sound of "One Shot at Glory" By Judas Priest playing throughout the arena, and half of the house lights turning themselves a deep blue. The crowd, somehow recognizing the music from about a year ago, began to cheer.
"Let me hear the battle cry, calling on the wind. Let me see the banners fly, before the storm begins. Let me feel the spirits soar! Destroy the enemy. Striking at the evil core, for all the world to see!
This day will last forever Deep in the hearts of men Courage and victory Remember. Remember!"
Not one to disappoint if he could help it, Brody Robinson made his way onto the stage, the usual grin plastered over the bottom half of his head, which was strange considering the situation. He just lost his title in the worst way possible, but he still seemed all smiles. He remained in his old rookie 'Bullseye' T-Shirt, hoping it would give him the confidence he needed to win this one. The rest of his clothing was his standard fare, with his usual open-fingered gloves, blue jeans, and black canvas shoe combo. Stopping in his usual spot on the stage, he scanned the crowd, nodding once or twice to show his approval of those in attendance. Without resorting to his pound-of-the-chest, he started forward once again. On his way down the ramp, he reached out and connected with as many hands as he could.
"One Shot At Glory In the crossfire overhead Fate stands before me; Words have all been said. One Shot At Glory Driving hard and seeing red. Destiny calls me. One night of fire, One Shot At Glory."
"Introducing first! From Zanesville Ohio, weighing in at 270lbs. Brody Robinson!
Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Brody turned to the stairs and started into the ring. As soon as he climbed through, he spun around in his corner and stepped up to the second rope. He looked over the crowd once again, and slowly clapped in appreciation for the reaction he was able to grab from them. It still amazed him how well he had acclimated to them. So soon as he was satisfied, he stepped backwards off the rope and turned to the stage. Leaning on the ropes, he waited for his opponent to show himself. (timhaynie Mod Edit: Cyrus won the title at the last show.) ((TechnicalPacifist Fail Acknowledgment: I kinda forgot to edit the announcer when I copied it over. Sorry about that.))(timhaynie Mod Edit: It's cool dude. I just didn't want you to look bad in some stupid way. Deleted this once you read it, if you want. )

Rise Against -- Re: Education Through LaborThe arena went dark and multiple flashing white lights filled the stadium. The lights synced up with the bass line until the pace picked up and all the lights went on, an white pyro display going off on the stage. When it died down, the returning Mike Landry appeared on the stage. A mixed reaction of cheers and boos was the responce from the audience, mostly cheers after witnessing what happened to him, but a few fans were still holding on to the evil deeds Landry committed in the past. To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines We toss and turn but don't sleep Each breath we take makes us thieves Like causes without rebels Just talk but promise nothing else
We crawl on our knees for you Under a sky no longer blue We sweat all day long for you But we sow seeds to see us through Because sometimes dreams just don't come true We wait to reap what we are due"Introducing his opponent, weighing in at 245 pounds from Seattle, Washington, Mike Landry!" Mike marched down the ramp, slapping the hands of those who offered, respecting the ones who still didn't trust him. He jumped up onto the apron and stepped up onto the turnbuckle, at first appearing to be posing with his 'Heartbreak' symbol, but switched it up with his old superhero pose from his good ol' days. The fans responded in a huge cheer and Landry stepped down, asking for a microphone from the ringside attendant. "Well...I got to say...IT IS DAMN GOOD TO BE BACK IN THE W-W-F!" Landry shouted to another huge responce. "Now a lot of you saw what happened to me," he said as he ran his hand over the permanent brand mark he recieved from Phoenixfire the last time he appeared on the show, "A lot of you heard my explanation for all the terrible things I did. A lot of you forgave me...but a lot of you also didn't. I just want to come out here and say, that's okay. Honestly, if I was you, I wouldn't take my word for it either! But I am a man of my word, and one way or another I WILL earn back the trust of each and every one of you people!" This elicited another round of cheers, but he held up his hand to calm them down. "But as I said, during my time when I was doing all those things, I had my eyes out for talents who had the talent, the determination, and their heads on straight enough to take on guys like me. Superstars who were willing to work harder than anyone else to become the best in this business, no matter what was thrown in their way. One of those men that I found...was Brody Robinson." Landry pointed across the ring to Brody, and the audience applauded in kind for the young superstar. "Brody, when I pushed people around, you pushed back harder than nearly anyone else. Our matches left me wondering how I got out of them alive, let alone with a win. I saw a fire in your eyes and a drive that I haven't seen for a long...long time. And so tonight, I want to bring that fire out again. Brody! I want you to throw everything you got at me! I want you to show me what you got! By the end of the night, I want to be raising YOUR hand so that the world can see what I saw! Prove to me you have what it takes to take that next step into the main event!" Landry dropped his mic and stepped into the middle of the ring, daring Brody to come at him with all he's got.

Brody stared at Landry for a few seconds, completely dumbfounded by the praise he had been given. He acknowledged Landry's attempts to reform himself, but all of that at once stopped his thoughts in their tracks. He quickly shook the surprise out of his mind as he stepped into the center of the ring. Without hesitation, he pulled his left arm up and launched a short left hook to Landry's side.

Landry huddled over from the punch to the side, holding it as a smile appeared on his face. "That's it..." He muttered before rearing back for a punch of his own to Brody's head.

Landry's punch caught Brody off-guard, and his head snapped to the side. He knew he should have seen that coming, but this wasn't the time for hating his lack of tactical brilliance. Turning his head back to Landry, he made a grab for Landry's head that, if he was successful, would be followed by a quick knee to the gut.

Landry was kneed in the chest and huddled over holding his gut, falling to one knee after the shot from Brody.

Brody, surprised as he was for actually grabbing an early upper-hand, kept enough awareness to think of a follow up. After taking a few steps away from Landry, he lined himself up to Mike's left. Using what space he had, Brody ran forward, hoping to connect the front of his shin with the side of Landry's head.

Perhaps Landry was luring him in, perhaps he was given just enough time to recover, but for whatever reason Landry moved his head out of the way in the knick of time and attempted to scoop Brody up into a schoolboy.

Still off balance from the relatively unused move, Brody had no time to stop himself from getting rolled backwards.
1.....2..
Brody forced himself out of the pin just after the two count spread through the arena. Thankfully, the element of surprise wasn't enough, at least not this time.

Landry kept the pace quick, making sure Brody was on his toes. He attempted a Jacknife pin right as Brody kicked out of the original pin attempt.

With little time to breath, let alone get himself out of the current predicament, Brody found himself pinned once again.
1....2....
It took slightly longer for him to kick out of this pin, but he freed his legs in time to save the match.

Landry popped off the pin once again, attempting to sit Brody up just slightly so he could attempt a rear headlock to keep him grounded.

((By the maker; That was fast. I stop paying attention for a few seconds and BAM new post.))
Brody sat himself up, feeling rather confused at how this was turning out. Before he could get any further, Landry's arm clasped around his neck. He repeatedly grabbed at the arm, trying to get it off his head.

Landry torqued on the hold, making it very uncomfortable, all the while shouting at Brody.
"Come on! You have to work harder than this! I know you can! Show me that fire damnit! Or am I wasting my time?"
