"Knights March"
blares onto the P.A. The lights begins to flash on & off in a gold pattern as Ricardo seems to be coming from the backstage area. But suddenly, without notice, he is spotted by a fixed camera coming from the crowd area holding a glass of wine. He drinks the wine delightfully before doing his signature arms-crossing-over-head taunt and proceeding down to the ring through all of the hectic individuals who are cheering him on as they clap along to his theme song, even though most of the fans are booing him, but it's still good to know he has a fan-base.
Announcer- And making his way to the ring, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil...weighing-in at two hundred forty-two pounds...the 'One True Legend'...Ricardo....MONTERO...ALVAREZ!!!
He climbs up and stands on top of the barricade, once again doing his signature taunt. Then he climbs down and begins to taunt the ring announcers before sliding into the ring. Then he looks around, eager to fight. He climbs up onto the turnbuckle, holding up his signature taunt as gold flake pyrotechnics begins to rain down from the raptors.
Ricardo then receives a microphone from a stage technician as he lifts it to his lips in preparation to speak, with his strong Brazilian accent.
"Ladies & Gentlemen...Boys & Girls. Prepare yourselves for the absolute greatest thing since sliced bread. Here in your presence...stands a man who is bound for great things in the mere future. I have recently competed as a Martial Artist & Kickboxer in Brazil for multiple years before making my way to American wrestling. And I've got to say, I'm very impressed. Not with the fans, that is."
The fans reak-out into jeers as Ricardo has apparently angered them.
"What? It's only true. This is a free country. I can speak my mind. And that IS THE TRUTH!"
The fans begin to boo Ricardo even louder.
"My goodness, you people are such babies. You know what? I'm shifting the focus to something that REALLY matters, and that's my match. As some of you may be aware of, I made my debut appearance at 'Place Your Bets,' then I roamed the backstage hallways just to get the feeling of being around that electric atmosphere. But I'm here to make a little change-up, if you will. Instead of being AROUND that electric feeling, I'm prepping to be a PART of it! So, this is a message to management. You had better think long and hard about my opponent, because I may wind-up injuring someone in the process..."
Ricardo then begins to chuckle into the mic as the fans are now outraged with Ricardo's errogance. Is there anyone backstage to slow the roll of Ricardo M. Alvarez?
